honestly the corndogs are underwhelming and over priced. Whe tried a cheese one with potatoes and the outside and one regular one with hotdog and cheese inside... why are the corndogs sweet? Weve never had korean style corndogs before so if sweet is the norm then we are not fans. The bubble tea was decent. If you havent considered grapefruit in your tea its was a surprising delight. I went strictly for the bingsu but got hungry and ordered fried chicken. The flavor of the sauce was good but the chicken was a bit greasy and not crispy enough despite having a thick coat of batter. It also came with two fried dumplings, a little fried noodle roll and fries. The fries threw me off because who orders fries at a Korean restaurant? I liked the bingsu. The mango and the sauce are really sweet, but the shaved ice seems to be just ice so it balances out the sweetness. If you don't like super sweet things maybe don't order this. The service was just ok- it wasn't horrible, but I also didn't get a warm fuzzy. There was two of us and we wanted to share the bingsu but we weren't asked what size we wanted (I failed to see that there were 2 sizes) so we ended up with a small and had to go back and buy another one. Ordered takeout. :) I had never tried Korean corn dogs before so this was a new experience!! Here's what I tried: Bulgogi Bibimbap: 9/10 - The portion was hefty and the egg on top was perfectly creamy. All the veggies had such rich flavor to them and the bulgogi, while a bit dry, was still good. Felt healthy yet tasty. Cheese and Beef Potato Corndog: 7.5/10 - I didn't expect this to be sweet but there is cinnamon sugar on the outside I believe. I love the texture of the potatoes and I think I prefer the hot dog side rather than the cheese, but that could also be because it had cooled down and congealed by that point. Rose Tteokbokki: 8/10 - So spicy, chewy, and yet a little sweet. The rose makes it a bit creamier and softer, which I actually really loved. read more

I have been wanting to try Korean corn dogs for so long! When I found out that this place has them I was so excited to try them and it did not disappoint! They were definitely different from what I was expecting, but in a great way. I got the Half&Half Potato, All Cheese Potato, and the All Cheese Hot Cheeto. I also got the 5 piece tenders with soy garlic sauce which came with French fries. Of the three corn dog options, the potato ones were definitely my favorite and absolutely the way to go in the future. The tenders were crispy and the sauce was so good! There's another business selling them around town but they're pop-up based -- I'm happy we now have a reliable stationed business selling them! I can only speak for the quality of the corn dogs and they're pretty tasty! The crumps will be messy but worth it! Had a nice cheese pull (photo included). I had the Half&Half Potato (inside white cheese top half then hotdog bottom half with an exterior of potato bits coated with sugar). Korean Chill Spot is the perfect choice for a quick bite/snack in central Brentwood! In addition to k-dogs, they sell instant ramen, kimbap , fried chicken, bubble tea, & more. There are believed to be 6 tables inside for parties of 4. This place is fast casual dining and the front employees were unenthusiastic as far as hospitality went. Took orders without the formalities of greetings or small talk with some gossip upon themselves. They were young, so I chalked up their hospitality adeptness to that. There are two gender neutral restrooms down the side hall. The larger restroom is the furthest back which has a console table but no official baby changing stations. Parking is all around but don't always expect to be near the storefront. This plaza in particular is notorious for always being busy! read more

Dec. 9, 2023 I ordered the Bugolgi Kimbap and it sure was delicious. My friend had the potato Korean hot dog and took a bite of......sure was good lol. You got a taste of the potato and the cinnamon sugar dipped around it. They got a hot water station just for your ramen, so cool. You don't see that around here....only in K-Dramas but now you get the chance to experience making yourself a bowl of ramen there Maybe next time, that's what I'm going to do and try out their bobas! read more

Food was ok. The kimbap though was actually kinda bland and just alright. If you want kimbap like halmeoini made, go to Fresh and Fresh Market in Nashville. The boba drink was good. The kimchi fried rice had a strange color and tasted old. The side of kimchi also tasted not fresh. I'm looking forward to trying it again for the fried chicken. So this place has been around for, about, ten years? Where have I been? Evidently, not in Brentwood. As everyone can attest, years of ignoring science has resulted in ice shelf melt, attack hordes of bugs and heat earlier & unlike anything which what we've been accustomed. I'd come to Brentwood to run errands but I hadn't had breakfast or lunch and the sun's intense rays were weakening me by the second. I wandered the shopping lot in search of something healthy and filling and the jelps led me here. I had every intention of getting solid food but it was just too entirely hot to chew. Do you hear that? It was too hot to chew!! This was only the first month of summer. This.is.a.problem! I walked in disheveled and looking a literal hot mess. The owner was immediately gracious, welcoming me in. I smiled back and focused on the wall of boba. It was glorious. In that moment, I forgot all about wraps and chewing. I was going to drink my calories and they were going to be ice cold. I was so hot that I was having a hard time focusing in on what to do. Chill Spot has three options: fruit tea, milk tea and chillers. I didn't think fruit tea had enough 'oomph' for what I needed in the moment, so I passed on it. I like milk tea but, for some reason, I was conflating milk + heat = curdle and I got grossed out. No milk tea! That left the chiller. Think of the chiller has an icy, fruity smoothie you can pair with tapioca balls or jellies. You can also order off the summer menu or combine flavors of your own making. Done. Pineapple + peach + jellies = what I needed. I engaged in some addled small talk (the heat was real), plopped down $5, smiled again, and received a large, icy ray of fruit joy. I stabbed the cellophane lid with the over-sized straw and took a sip. Exactly what I needed: ice-cold, sweet, fruity deliciousness. I thanked the owner and her clerk and made my way back outside. Despite receiving an iced-treat, it quickly began to melt. This isn't a slight on the Chill Spot. It's a point made to illustrate how horribly hot it was. I wasn't bothered by the melt. Each slurp of jelly fruit juice was exactly what I needed to put some pep back in my step. I don't live anywhere near Brentwood but I'm planning a trip for any reason at all, just to justify another go 'round at the Chill Spot. This summer, it is the hero we need. read more

We stopped in here for lunch a few weeks ago and we really liked it! We both got wraps, one chicken ranch and one buffalo chicken, and they were very tasty. I would have liked if the chicken on the buffalo chicken wrap was warm (the wraps were cold), but it was still tasty nevertheless. The price was good and it came with a tasty side of rice, which was seasoned well and it all really hit the spot.
