I decided to branch out and try their breakfast burrito and was disappointed. It had zero flavor, and all of the bacon was on one side lol It does come with aoli and salsa on the side, so I'm assuming that's where I'm supposed to get the flavor from but without those sauces the eggs and potatoes were just overwhelmingly bland, some potatoes were undercooked too which wasn't a pleasant surprise lol. I was surprised with the quality, given expensive this place is! I definitely expected more, but maybe it was a fluke. The coffee, food, and service earned this rare 5 star from me. The prices are what you would expect for a nicer coffee shop but I can say that they are worth the dollar amount. We were surprised by the fact that the vibe is super chill and you could feel the love for coffee and food in the air. The terrible customer service, over-priced food/drinks options, and underwhelming food made me feel compelled to do so after my 24 years on this planet. If you plan on coming here to get any food, make sure to wait at the door before they open because they sell out FAST. My girlfriend is Gluten-free so we came hoping to score some food that was GF friendly however, we arrived 2 hours after opening, and half their menu was sold out. The man in the goofy glasses who took our order wasn't helpful in the slightest. Popped in on a Saturday as I'd heard good things and it was super busy. We squeezed in the back corner, I think they may be able to fit more seating here, but everyone around was friendly and made room. Coffee was delicious but they were out of oat milk which was a little bummer. My sister tried the biscuit sandwich and I had the avocado tartine. Both were delicious and filling but it's a bit spendy, $20 before tip for my two items alone. The customer service and atmosphere are great, as was the food so I guess you get what you pay for. Great 3rd wave coffee place, would rate 5 stars if it wasn't so busy. I also really dislike the wait forever to order and seat yourself kind of setup. It takes too long for the ordering, then you have to wait, then you hangout for extra long because you waited so long to get a seat. Very convenient location within walking distance from Funko Headquarters. I needed a pick me up and something to eat before my drive across the border into Canada. The espresso was a little too sour for my liking but I did enjoy the Scratch Soda infused with vanilla and lavender. It wasn't too sweet and very refreshing. I ordered the ham and gruyere sandwich which was pressed to perfection as the the bread was hot and crisp to the bite. Yikes, after seeing some of the replies, I am almost scared to even review them honestly. I stopped in to grab some coffee to go. Now, I am fully aware that this is the place for kicking back and enjoying the coffee and vibe. I didn't have that kind of time that day. Service was friendly and quick enough. Prices are higher than most but they were like that before inflation really kicked in so I am not sure what the response ramble was about. I just overall felt out of place here. As a resident of Everett for over 20 years, it just didn't feel awesome for me. Not their fault, just a personal preference. This place has so much potential, but is dragged down by a few key issues. Pros: - Great customer service - Pretty decent coffee - Great atmosphere (really good lighting!) Cons: - The biscuit sandwich I had was good, but the only flavor I could really taste was the biscuit - The mocha was great, but could definitely be better with tweaking - LORD OF THE FLIES! There were way too many flies inside the place. I was consistently swatting them away, which ruined my sit-down experience entirely. Verdict: I would recommend trying this place out if you live here, since there is potential for a better experience. Lovely that the acoustics don't overshadow a great feeling space. Also! Comfortable seating - a bit too few for such a grand space in my opinion but comfortable yet hip. Why do so many cafes forsake comfort for looks? Because they don't respect the bodies of their customers and they go cheap! Not here. But hey! Isn't this the Pacific Northwest, where people wear coats and layers much of the year? Where are the coat hooks? A detail, but one that could say, "We care about your whole experience here." Took my very elderly mom and sis here for brunch recently and had an outstanding meal and fantastic coffee drinks. They serve homemade biscuits (nice 'n light) and homemade jam as well. Eggs and everything else we had was great. The workers there were nice, and a joy to interact with. They are located downtown in a nicely restored old building with brick walls and high ceilings. We all had a very nice time and appreciated the food-- really nice not to have to choose from bacon, bacon and more bacon. The decor is amusing if you like post industrial recycled buildings with lots of exposed brick and timber. My family and I come here occasionally for coffee and sometimes breakfast. The service has always been excellent with kind baristas whom know how to spark up a light hearted conversation. The building it's self is super cute and has a very calm atmosphere that allows you to enjoy quality conversation without disturbances from the surroundings which is always a plus for me since my hearing isn't as good as it once was. The french toast is definitely noteworthy it has always come out fluffy with great flavor (the presentation of the dish is pretty great too). We will without a doubt keep coming back.
