We went for my sister's birthday and had a reservation. The owner was very clear that he had private party at 630 however he had a nice space for us at 4pm. The owner went above and beyond with showing us the best customer service I have ever seen. I noticed how he greeted everyone that walked in with a handshake and as we were leaving he came out in the rain to make sure we had a good experience. I have never seen this level of customer service before and will 100% be back soon.

It was Sunday, a little on the early side, so the bar was wide open. Hubby opted for his signature drink: a very dirty vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. I went with my favorite drink at The Social House - LaLa Lemon: malfy lemon gin, lemon sorbet, lemon zest, mint leaf. Both cocktails are absolute perfection! Next time, we are definitely going to try their signature cocktail - The Jungle Bird (served in a cage): bumbu rum, campari, amaretto, lime, pineapple, brown sugar, pineapple wedge. I'm soooo curious about this concoction!

Upon entrance is a doorman who is so friendly and accommodating! He found us an open table and checked on us throughout the night. The place was packed and they only had maybe 5 or 6 employees so the service was a little slow but understandable. I think the longest wait was about 20 minutes when we were waiting to get our initial drink order taken, but everything after that was fairly quick. For drinks I got a thin mint martini because they were out of the chocolate reuge martini I wanted. It was so yummy and came with 3 thin mint cookies. My mom got a pistachio martini and the Jefferson Tea. Both were pretty good but I wouldn't order again. My dad got Dead Mans Redemption which is good if you like bourbon. It comes with a wood topper and they light it on fire, let smoke fill in the drink, and then take the wood off. The drink then has notes of smoked wood in it which is cool. For food we got the crispy spring rolls and pepperoni flatbread. Both were so good!!!! It was absolutely worth the wait!!! I could eat the whole flatbread myself it was that good and I can't wait to go back and get another one. The crowd is definitely much older, not a lot of younger people around. It's a good date night for married couples. Overall it was a nice place and I would come back.

I got the Big Ol' Burger and it was so good. Cooked perfectly, the special sauce was delicious and as you can probably tell from the photo, the fries were exactly what I was looking for. Everything tastes really fresh here. It has that farm-to-table quality, but in a relaxed, laid-back (but still really pretty) setting. We came for lunch and I loved that they had brunch options too. We didn't get any adult beverages but I was very tempted by the entire drink menu, so next time! Our service was also outstanding. Really everything was A+. Definitely a local spot that I need to remember to go to more often.

Once I ordered my soda I took in the ambiance of the bar, new lights, and the rest of the restaurant. It's not a large building but they make every inch count. Now, the reason you're reading this review- THE FOOD. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich with a Caesar Salad. The chicken (photo below) was perfectly cooked, topped with hot honey, slaw, pickles, and ranch then placed on a soft brioche bun. The meal was reasonably priced as well at $33 which included tip. I will absolutely be back to the Shanty next time I'm in town.

We came in with another group in front of us, so unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to say the password ourselves, but we'd love to return for the full experience! Be warned that the place is quite small, so you'll most likely have to wait since they do not take reservations. For a party of two on a Saturday night, our wait was around 40 minutes, and we were eventually seated by the bar. I will say that the seating arrangements could be thought out a little better because we had to play musical chairs quite a few times throughout the night. That aside, the drinks themselves were quite good! You can tell the bartenders are very skilled and passionate about crafting their cocktails. For any Star Wars fans out there, the tiki drinks are served in mugs featuring some of your favorite characters, which was such a fun touch! Overall, the drinks were on the pricier side, but I'd say they were well worth it. Definitely a fun spot to check out!

Well, a new place that specializes in craft cocktails is right up my alley. We walked across, found the door, and entered. I was really impressed with the interior space. It was cool and dark. The bartenders were very helpful to our friends who are new to craft cocktails. They stick with vodka martinis. I started with a paper plane, which was very well-made. I then tried one of their specials, the Fig Leaf Old Fashioned, which was fabulous. Everyone had a fabulous time, and we will definitely be back to try some of the Absinthe recipes. I hope my fellow Yelpers support a new cocktail place. We need more of them.

A cute hostess area for pickup orders, but we headed to the small dining room and grabbed a table. I ordered garlic Parmesan wings and a meatlovers pub pizza. Our server/bartender was pleasant and attentive the whole time. Our food arrived looking great. The wings were cooked nicely, jumbo sized with super crispy texture and juicy on the inside. The garlic Parmesan was... Interesting. I believe it's a mayo based sauce, similar to an Alabama white BBQ sauce. I could see the appeal in it but it wasn't for me personally. The pizza was great as usual. I love the combination of the toppings on the meatlovers with the sauce. I enjoyed every bite. While I don't need an excuse to come to Grainsley's as it's in my semi regular rotation, I didn't mind the chance to come back sooner than later for some awesome wings and pizza!
