I can't believe I haven't reviewed Napoli's since I've been there about 20 times. This is a family-owned-type place, with traditional (not contemporary) Italian food. Knowing that, you should expect comfort-food, Italian style, at comfortable prices. The pizzas are large and well-priced and good. Don't expect Dallas swank. I ordered the napolis chicken and shrimp and the taste was amazing I loved it! However the plate seemed small considering it cost $17 and there was ONLY 2 pieces of shrimp and the chicken breast was very thin. I have avoided taking my husband here, because he's super picky about Italian food. He's Italian, ahem, Sicilian. And he hails from NY and knows his food. His family is com Sicily and it's in his genes. The chicken Marsala and the tomato sauce his the test for him. I took him to a very upscale place and he was instantly unimpressed because it was too sweet. My aunt and uncle were in town and we wanted to take them out. Well, we all loved it. Every single bite. My aunt and uncle had lasagna and were stuffed to the gill. My kid had the pizza. He's 7. What do you want from me!? Lol I had farfalle in olive oil, minced garlic, and parsley. The husband had chicken Marsala and he ordered a chicken parmigiana hero to go. He loved his Marsala. The chicken parm was okay. He said he's probably like it better hot and fresh. I will NEVER order from here ever again. I placed an order for pick up and when I went in and walked up to the bar, the bartender as well as the manager and two other waitresses completely ignored me. After being walked by and ignored I finally stopped the bartender, who by the way did not have his mask on correctly, I told him that I had an order for pick up, it was only then that he moved his mask over his mouth and nose and asked me what my name was and went to the back to get my order. He then passed me on to the waitress who also had initially ignored me and she knew that I was pissed at this point. I made it a point to put 0 on the tip because they do not deserve a tip. Food was good- service was HORRIBLE. We had at least 3 different people wait our table because they were making waiters take phone orders too. If its that busy hire a girl to run the phones! We had to ask multiple times for the bread they bring out before meal, and our salads were horribly small, even for an appetizer. Our entree's were fine. ( the only reason they got 2 stars) 30 min after we were finished eating we had to chase a manager down to try and get our check, then HE ordered our food again instead! Youre much better off at a chain like olive garden if this is what "family owned italian" food is like. More impressed. Service on point. The tea was good. Sweet and unsweet both good. Stromboli stuffed full of meat and cheese. Three stars is for runny Alfredo sauce and marinara. Still need more garlic on rolls. But we are leaving full and happy. read more

I wish I could give them a lower rating than even 1 star. We called them to place an order for pickup and told us to hold. We did. For 15 min and then called back thinking they forgot us. They did the exact same thing again. My husband decided to just go ahead and drive there to place the order in person. He waited about 10-15 minutes and they told him to leave and come back another day!!! Are you kidding me?! The manager wouldn't even come speak to him! They refused to take his order. A busboy pushed a chair into my legs and then he bumped into the chair I was sitting in. He didn't notice or bother to notice either thing. The calamari was over cooked and rubbery. My husband and I are frequent visitors to Napoli's. We come back because of the food, definitely NOT the service. We literally just walked out after sitting for 10 minutes without even being acknowledged. Seriously didn't even get drinks, and we were walked past no less than 3 times. This has happened before on a weeknight, but we've never walked out before. Weeknight service SUCKS. I'm pregnant, and we had our 2 year old with us. We weren't going to sit there just to be ignored. The pizza and pastas are good. The alfredo is a little runny. The bread is good. The service is a little lacking. The waiters seem to be preoccupied and refills are hard to come by. Still, if you want Italian in Forney, now the Fredos is closed, this is it (unless you consider Pizza Hut Italian). Go for lunch but skip the dinner rush. At lunch time the place is usually empty so the service is a bit better. read more

I usually order Napoli's in Terrell. They were closed tonight so we went to Forney. The extra large Pizza did not have any sauce, hardly any vegetables /meat on this pizza. It was a tasteless experience. When I called Monli the manager, he was rude and arrogant about my experience. No apologies. Did not offer to make us another pizza and said that we had to pay extra for sauce. I do not recommend this establishment for eating out If you are considering Pizza. People kept walking in and looking around awkwardly, not sure if they were supposed to seat themselves or not. Today probably wasn't the best of days for this establishment. We didn't have to wait long for menus or drinks, but after we ordered our main course it took about 30 minutes for it to come out and it wasn't busy by any means. Usually the wait wouldn't have bothered me but when my baked ziti came out it tasted horribly soured. I made the person dining with me try as well and he couldn't even swallow it. We are new to town and were excited to see this place open. The dream stopped there. We did a pickup for pizza here one day. I have had better cardboard pizza at school or from a 7-11. We decided to give them another shot the day before Valentine's Day. We will NEVER come here again. Poor service. Poor management. No clue. Waitresses were not trained well, bus boys taking drink and food orders and delivering them regularly. Another Forney failure. Some like Cristina's and Crumbzz's are getting it done it appears and others are like this and Alfredo's - well, you can only serve the foolish and family for only so long. We have eaten here a few times because, well, there isn't another Italian restaurant in Forney. Let me start by saying if the tables are full and there's a wait, the staff doesn't greet you. There isn't a hostess. You practically have to stand in a single-file line so they'll know who was there before the next person... The entry is cramped as well; so, there's really not room for more than like 4 people to wait. And the food is nothing I crave, ever...EVER. I do like that they have wine. Yay for wine. They used to be something special back 9 or 10 years ago when I first moved to Forney and they were in their old building in downtown Forney. Somewhere along the way, they lost something. I really want to love them like I used to which is probably another reason we keep giving the place a chance. For now, though, until they fix whatever it is that broke, it's worth it to make the drive to Rockwall and go to Luigi's. read more

I've been here once before and the food is decent, but my mother and my daughter go often. What stands out to me is the way they treat my family. I send my mother and my 3 year old out together when I need some time to get things done. My mother has severe osteoarthritis and has a hard time walking. They get the door for her and they take care of my daughter by getting her in and out of her high chair. They go above and beyond to help them and that is what sets this place apart from everywhere else. Thank you, Napoli's for being so kind. read more

Terrible customer service! We had a table of 7 people. When we started ordering the waiter argued with us over a $2.00 charge that was clearly NOT on their menu. I asked to speak to his manager and he walked over telling us the same thing and he kept interrupting me as I spoke. I asked him to stop interrupting me and he continued. I told him they should get their menus updated if they are going to charge extra on an item and he laughed and said they couldn't! We immediately got up and walked out and they didn't act as if they were concerned. They lost a table of probably $50-$60 over a $2 charge that was not on their menu. We live in the Forney area and have eaten here before with slow service, but we will NOT go back there again. read more

I'm not one to go out of my way to leave review first off. Second this place seemed and looked like a nice establishment. However when you walk in the door and no one greets you for 15min that's ridiculous. We finally got seen and seated as well as the people behind us about 5min later at a table right next to us. So another 10min or so go by and no one comes to wait on us. The table that got seated after us finally had someone come by and get there drinks. However I had to ask the person who got them there drinks to get ours he replied I'm not a waiter and walked off to finally come back with drinks. It was probably 20mins from when we sat down till we got our waiter. Bread was really good but hey if you screw that up I mean come on really. I ordered the lobster ravioli and my wife ordered the pasta combo. Lobster ravioli was a joke it had no lobster, gross fake crab meat scattered over the plate sauce and ravioli were no good ether. So my wife offered to trade me dishes but said hers wasn't very good ether so I tried hers to and it wasn't good. So at this point I have had enough time to pay the check and leave. So I paid the check and left a big fat 0 for the tip which I never do usually. The waiter had the nerve to chase me out the door when I was leaving to ask me did you not have good service I said NO it was awful he says ok see you next I said there won't be a next time. Now that home I'm sick to stomach and have been stuck to the crapper and have horrible indigestion. This place sucks all around. If you want good Italian food go to Luigi's in Rockwall amazing food great service and I have never been sick. read more
