Steer clear of this location if at all possible. This evening we were tired and decided to get pizza and wings so instead of going to Pizza Hut or dominoes we decided to get Papa Murphy's - BIG MISTAKE! First off I called 15 minutes prior to closing and the guy that answered said he couldn't take my order that I had to come in to place an order. So we literally ran to the vehicle and put the pedal to the metal and got here with in 10 minutes so we walked in at 7:55pm to see two young guys literally just standing there. one was making a pizza and the other was standing at the register. So we walked in and were NOT GREETED or anything. So after like 2-3 minutes the guy at the register asked if he could help us. But the worst part was that the ingredients looked a HOT MESS! This is a pretty good solution when the kids want a pizza fix and I dont feel like shelling out big bucks to the Pizza Huts or Papa Johns of the world. This location is always clean and the staff are friendly. Its not that big a whip baking the pizza and they put on a whole lot of toppings-much more than you would get for the same price at a traditional pizza place. Is it a paradigm shifiting place? I'm a proud member of the take and bake revolution and must say that every single time and I do mean that quite literally, it has been clean and the employees both friendly and chipper. The pizzas are as good if not better than the one's from Pizza Hut, CiCi's, and PaPa John's while being less expensive than them (More bang for your bu-bu-bucks as Al* use to say.) My personal favorite is the Thai Chicken which was recently made a regular by popular customer demand after being a winter seasonal special. The Thai Chicken is the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and savory it is the jewel en-laden crown you get after fighting the Lich King** in a D & D based video game. *Al is an antagonist from Toy Story 2 **A Lich is an undead person who used a spell or curse to keep their spirit in their corpse, the Lich Kings and Wizards are the hardest to beat. read more

This is no lie. I always wanted to try this out and I drive past it on way to work. In my defense it's usually closed on way home. For some unknown reason I dreamt of it during a nap. The wife wanted to watch a movie called Despoil. So it was kismet. I had to order and try it. For my order was a pan pizza called Papa's All meat, yes that's the name. Man do they stuff it with meat. My son and wife had the Cowboy style pan. I don't know what cowboys got to do with olives, but that is a different story all together. It to me was actually better than chain pizzas precooked. The best pizza in Mesquite! My favorite is the chicken bacon artichoke on the thin crust. I don't normally like artichoke or thin crust but it works. Garlic chick is a close second! If you have kids you can get the build a pizza for them and they get to build the pizza at home. I wish they had an option to have them cook it for an additional fee. They don't honor their online prices in store, which is really disappointing. I called in to place an order (I wanted to pay cash) and they said that their prices were higher than what was on the website. When I asked them to honor the online price, they refused. I am a huge fan of Papa Murphy's. Ordering pizza for delivery can be so hit-and-miss . . . it usually takes too long, is cold when it arrives, and costs $25 or $30 for anything decent. With PM's, you pick it up on your time and cook it when you want it. The ingredients are high quality, the product is 100% consistent, and the service is very friendly and thoughtful. The staff is always courteous and quick. The pizzas are put together right in front of you so you can see the cleanliness of the place and the quality of the ingredients. The pizzas are awesome. Our favorite is the Herb Chicken Mediterranean. The Cowboy is also good if you like a more traditional pizza. We rarely order from Papa Johns or Dominoes anymore. They also cost less, plus you can normally find coupons in the mail every month. read more

Stopped in there to get a salad. I hadn't been in there in a while. Normally I can get a salad made if there are not any ready made in the ready section. I usually get a salad of any kind for $5.00 with 5 topping not including the lettuce and cheese. I asked the girl to make me a salad with out meat she told me the total was 6.75. I was surprised and advised I hadn't never paid that amount before. The owner/Manager comes out with an attitude and tells me that he was loosing money because the kids that worked there before was stealing from him. He goes on to say he was tired of "owning that store and if I didn't want to buy any get out". I told the young lady no I was not going to buy any thing and that is probably why he was loosing business and going broke because of his atttitude and inability at hiring good help but don't take it out on the customers. Normally I would rate this much higher. Last 2 times the young man that works there has made my pizza. Unfortunately I got him again today. I don't know if he had coordination issues or what, but as he is putting on the ingredients he rushes and a great many of the ingredients fall around the outside of the pizza and fall through the grate. Today he tells me they are out of green peppers. How can they run totally out of green peppers at 5 pm? The girls would go to the back and get things that were out. He says can have some thing else extra. So I say then more black olives. He grabs a small handful and throws it at the pizza. About half of those bounce off and are lost. Then he gets to where they put the cheese on at the end. He reaches in for some cheese and can't get any because it is empty. He then just starts to wrap it up. I ask "are you out of cheese too". So he reaches under the counter and pulls out a tub of cheese and puts a Dallas handful on it and then wraps it. Might be a while before I go for pizza again read more
