Crust was chewy, too much sauce, and hardly any toppings. They do use a good amount of cheese though. I was really excited to try the muffuletta but was very disappointed that it was mostly cheese. Same with the combo. Maybe 10 olives and a few mushroom slices on a large? For how much we spent I'd like more toppings.

He also seemed to be very forgetful, we asked him a couple questions about the menu that he didn't have answers for, refills were scarce, and he forgot to bring us plates. I'm not sure if the building needs some acoustic treatment or if the seating is just crammed in too closely. Add this to fact that the manager did not want to open the top floor and would rather have people waiting (why not utilize all the space you have?) My only guess is that they didn't want to have more to clean up at the end of the day but it just seems... lazy. One star off for these two things together. So of course we ordered the lemon pepper (full disclosure it's not my favorite flavor anywhere, but the fam out-voted me). I did try them and they were nice and crispy (we order them that way) with a hefty TANG. So if you are fond of the lemon in the lemon pepper this is your go to. For apps we ordered the meatballs and they were tasty; they came in a little deep dish with marina and cheese- and not dry. The croquettes never disappoint. The salad is a standard salad. Im picky with my salad and tend to notice if the lettuce is oxidized. This location almost always has a few oxidized pieces in the mix. I don't know why. It is expected because that is what the menu says. What is this?" Then I was given even more insanity. The lady who answered the phone continued," Well, we don't know if you want the salad and we don't know what dressing you want. Maybe the app needs fixing...yes...but if you are aware the entree comes with the salad, just give it to the customer whether the person pays online to take it to go or sits in the restaurant to eat. Your menu says it comes with it, then that is what is expected just like the price for that entree you expect to get in return. Maybe I should tell PayPal to return my money because Joe's Pizza really should specify in the comment section of the receipt that they expect payment.
