This usually isn't my go to pizza place in town, however it's an option that's close by and is still good quality. The staff is very nice as the last two times I've been there, they didn't make me pay for the $5 up charge on the cauliflower crust and gave me a free cheesecake for taking so long (which I didn't think they were), so that was nice. Pretty decent size sitting on the inside, which is good for groups. They have more than just pizza too, they have lots of pasta options. Real chill place for a laid back lunch.

I placed an order on the slice app, they offered free delivery, why not. I placed the order at 6:29 pm. They close at 7:30 pm. They canceled my delivery order, my house is an 8 minute drive from this place....... I changed to pickup and it said my order was going to be ready 2 in minutes. Wtf... I rush over there and ofcourse my pizza is now stiff. I opened the box to a "large" that I paid almost $17 for. This was more of a medium and I'm sure anyone would agree. I'm also confused as to the cut, like why..... the pizza was obviously only a little warm. No where fresh. It had the weird consistency of the cold cheese. The sauce is sweet, not at all NY style if that's what your looking for. I also had the weirdest interaction with a man as soon as I walked in, I'm wearing traditional clothing and I hope I'm mistaken but I'm also 100% sure he assumed I didn't speak English. He started to motion to the register that I was already standing in front of without a word. Repeatedly. Needless to say, NOT IMPRESSED with the quality, quantity and service.

I'm glad we stopped. Pardon our mess!! I was late getting the photo because we dove in. Everything smelled great and the food was hot and fresh. The service we received was top notch and the owner and staff looked after us kindly. I can't remember the last time I've had a cozy experience like this since the Pandemic hit. Stop by and try the food! I promise it's worth it.

The owner was on site, working and training. There were 4 young kids working, looking dazed and confused, like a deer caught in headlights... Evidenced by one the servers dropping off the pizza to our table, not bringing a stand or plates, then once he brought the stand he didn't know how to use it. I asked , "are you new", he responded, "yes, I don't know how to do it". I'm extremely understanding, no biggie.... The pizza was good, service was good considering everyone was new and the owner was training them. I hope the pizza is as good and my time there is just as pleasant when the owner is not on site. Owner explained he hired all new staff and turning around his restaurant. It's definitely worth a try!

The best Italian food we've had in Northern Texas so far! We have been to several places in the area (like Enos) and nothing else compares. The lunch special is an amazing deal: 8" three topping pizza or calzone, side salad and a drink for $12. The salad was big and delicious. The Italian dressing was amazing, so zesty and creamy. We tried the calzone and pizza and both were very good. I love pizza and this was one of the best I've had anywhere. We got the kids spaghetti and red sauce and it was huge. Definitely plenty of food! We decided to get the turtle cheesecake and chocolate cannoli too. The cannoli filling was top notch. Please do yourself a favor and visit if you're passing Forney by 80.

Above average thin-crust wood-fired pizza, and yes - they deliver! They cut it in the cross-hatch NY style, so it is easy to handle the smaller pieces. Good flavor, but this carnivore thinks the All Meat special could use a bit more MEAT. Fair prices.

Receipt of where they didn't charge me half for something I didn't order.

I've enjoyed Palio's since the early 2000's at their location in Denton, so I was happy after my move to Forney to see one. Elation was quickly replace with disgust unfortunately. I made an order for a salad, pizza and strawberry cheesecake on a Friday around 4:48 for a 5:48p delivery. At 6:05p I called the restaurant and a very rude young girl answered and said that it would be at least another 2 & a half hours for delivery so I can come pick it up. This is after I've paid for delivery and tip. I told her to proceed with the delivery. It surprisingly came maybe an hour later (still almost 3 hours after I originally ordered). At drop off the delivery person (I believe the manager Tessa) told me that they were out of strawberry cheesecake so they just threw something else in there and gave me half off (why I would need to pay half for something i didn't choose is beyond me). My fiancé and I opened our food, the salad was warm and the croutons soft from sitting out for too long. Our pizza was cold and best of all, the cheesecake they gave me had nuts in it. I have a severe tree nut allergy. At this point I'm livid because they've put my life at risk with something I did not order. I call back up to the restaurant and ask for a manager. Again, the rude girl tells me she's not here and ask what's wrong. I explain the entire situation and she says she's going to have Tessa call me back. I told her that when she does she needs to have their general liability claim information available & refund me for my order and she hangs up in my face. This is the most abhorrent experience I've ever had dealing with any restaurant in my life. Don't patron here.

When left in the oven too long; it can be over cooked and what I call "more crack than crisp". We have been here many times and it's only been overcooked maybe 2-3 times so they are more consistent than not. Surprise: They have added wings to the menu since the last time we were here. So of course we ordered the lemon pepper (full disclosure it's not my favorite flavor anywhere, but the fam out-voted me). I did try them and they were nice and crispy (we order them that way) with a hefty TANG. So if you are fond of the lemon in the lemon pepper this is your go to. For apps we ordered the meatballs and they were tasty; they came in a little deep dish with marina and cheese- and not dry. The croquettes never disappoint. The salad is a standard salad. Im picky with my salad and tend to notice if the lettuce is oxidized. This location almost always has a few oxidized pieces in the mix. I don't know why. It's not that hard to chop up some fresh romaine. I usually love their ranch dressing but today it was a flavorless liquid. Sad face. Our go to pizzas - margherita and the pepperoni. Look at those pizza pies - delish !

I think the only frustration today was the fact that they had their happy hour prices posted outside despite they're not actually being a happy hour today. It can certainly seem extremely misleading. Other than that, it seemed as though there were a lot of people training and it was slow to get things like water, but those are just small hurdles when places are facing challenges like that. It is a cool vibe with delicious food, and overall not too shabby The main reason for the low stars is because of the happy hour sign out front. It definitely let our group into believing the appetizers were on happy hour today... Turns out they weren't and the days of the week that happy hour exist was written in extremely small writing at the bottom of the board. Could do better with that...

(just a fun fact) They seem pretty proud of that fact too, considering there's now a giant cowboy hat sculpture, "The Big Hat," right across the street. It's impossible to miss. Anyway, we weren't there for hats. We were there for pizza. First, a public service announcement. Figure out what you want before you walk in because the menu is only available through a QR code, and it is awful. You scroll. Then you scroll some more. Then somehow you're still scrolling. It feels less like ordering dinner and more like reading the terms and conditions for a mortgage. The two of us ordered a large pepperoni pizza, which turned out to be ambitious. We ate leftovers for days. Next time I'd definitely order the smaller size. My only real complaint about the pizza itself was the pepperoni. There was just TOO MUCH of it. Sure, I could have asked for "light pepperoni", but then I'd be paying full price for less topping, and that just goes against my personal philosophy. I'd love to see a "light pepperoni" option priced accordingly. ALSO not it is the good and greasy cupping pepperoni, kinda spicy. The pizza was also a little unevenly prepared. About half had a thicker crust while the other half was noticeably thinner. I definitely preferred the thinner side. Service was perfectly fine, the bathrooms were clean and nice, and the pizza was good overall. Just be prepared for the QR code marathon before you get to enjoy it.
