(This sounds like a shill review but it's my honest opinion. So buckle up, buttercup.) To say that Vamos Pizza is divine is an understatement. We've had half a dozen different pizzas and pastas over the years and they are all consistently COOKING! When you crack open a fresh box of pizza from them, you hear the thunder crackle from mighty Zeus's lightning. I can and will die on this hill. It is the best pizza place we go to. Ordered online through the slice app and a family member picked up the pizzas. He noted the location appeared clean and well operated. Pizzas were ready at the promised time. We ordered a grilled chicken pizza, a buffalo chicken pizza, a margherita pizza, and a cheese pizza. There were 6 diners and all commented positively about their specific pizza. The cheese pizza had lots of sauce (much appreciated) and the cheese was tasty. The underside of the pizza was thin and well-cooked. The crust was a bit bready but was very tasty. Don't let the look of the strip mall scare you off. This is a very simple little place to go get dinner or lunch not so much meant for dining in although you can but it's very small. But it is clean the family that runs the place is so nice and the food is fantastic. The pizza is crisp and cooked perfectly. All the toppings were fresh. The salad was fantastic. This is the to go place in Mesquite for Pizza. Ordered a California pizza for son and a customized pizza for my self. From what he told me, he enjoyed his pie. Mine was a 14 inch with pepperoni, onions and jalapeños. Style is New York thin with a good crust. It's truly the closest to real NYC pizza as your going to get here. We also asked for wings with their hot sauce. The wings were very meaty and nicely drenched in sauce. No complaints. Wife ordered a salad which looked awesome with plenty of ham and cheese rolled in. I'm going to have to try it next time. She is very picky and Gabe a total thumbs up! They also make standard Italian dishes like Calzones, Stromboli and of course spaghetti. This must be not be confused with the Vamos Pizza place that is now closed and was across from Audubon Park Softball Fields, on Oates Dr, in Garland. It was so, so. It's completely take out, shares the same name as the 5 star Vamos that was on Oates. I don't think I would drive all the way into Mesquite, down Galloway, to get a pizza from this Vamos Pizza Place. They were not friendly or welcoming and told me they were affiliated with the one that is closed. However, I have been told they are totally separate. Not outstanding pizza, just comparable to Dominoes or the like. Not bad, but not a cut above and worth the long trip for me. read more

First time visit; dine in. Ordered 2 large pizzas (meat lovers, cheese) and 2 pasta dishes (manicotti, fettuccine alfredo). All were beautiful dishes, piping hot, delicious, and served with complimentary garlic rolls. We will happily eat an entire second meal from the leftovers. The gentlemen behind the counter were very courteous and helpful. I haven't been to this restaurant but I saw a review on the Nextdoor app endorsing it so I decided to give it a try! I ordered two pizzas, "The Meat Lovers and The Works." They were both delicious! They were hot they delivered them quickly, and I didn't have to wait like I normally do when ordering from Pizza Hut, Dominoes, etc. The pizzas were made exactly the way they were described, and they weren't stingy with their toppings! I will definitely be ordering from them again and I will also be trying some of their other dishes as well.
