It's a small, family-owned business, but very welcoming. The service was excellent, and the food arrived in about 10 minutes, clearly freshly made. I ordered the Penne alla carbonara with shrimp, and it was very creamy and flavorful, with crispy shrimp that indicated freshness. I also tried the work pizza; it wasn't my favorite, but it was still good. Overall, I give it a 10 out of 10. read more

(This sounds like a shill review but it's my honest opinion. So buckle up, buttercup.) To say that Vamos Pizza is divine is an understatement. We've had half a dozen different pizzas and pastas over the years and they are all consistently COOKING! When you crack open a fresh box of pizza from them, you hear the thunder crackle from mighty Zeus's lightning. I can and will die on this hill. It is the best pizza place we go to. P.S. the tiramisu is godly too. P.P.S. because the AI is a dumbass, I have to say the service is great and so is the ambiance. read more

Great service and even better food ! Definitely recommend ! Chicken Sofia pasta is super tasty !

Another delicious meal fm Vamos. I hesitated ordering the Chicken Sophía bc there were no ratings, but OMG now it's my favorite pasta dish! Bursting with chicken, big chunks of tender crab and mushrooms in a decadent sauce. The House Salad was really good too. No nasty iceberg lettuce, it's all romaine. Ordered fm DoorDash and everything arrived piping hot and fresh! read more

Ordered online through the slice app and a family member picked up the pizzas. He noted the location appeared clean and well operated. Pizzas were ready at the promised time. We ordered a grilled chicken pizza, a buffalo chicken pizza, a margherita pizza, and a cheese pizza. There were 6 diners and all commented positively about their specific pizza. The cheese pizza had lots of sauce (much appreciated) and the cheese was tasty. The underside of the pizza was thin and well-cooked. The crust was a bit bready but was very tasty. We will definitely order again the next time we order pizza. read more

Don't let the look of the strip mall scare you off. This is a very simple little place to go get dinner or lunch not so much meant for dining in although you can but it's very small. But it is clean the family that runs the place is so nice and the food is fantastic. The pizza is crisp and cooked perfectly. All the toppings were fresh. The salad was fantastic. Their Caesar dressing was delicious. I can't wait to go back next time. I'm in Mesquite. read more

This place is really good. It's my go to place for pizza in the area. I get the big huge pizza and it ends up getting finished. It's not like a crunchy wood fired pizza or anything but it is good. read more

Excellent pizza! Two major differences from others: quality sausage and Parmesan cheese. With those 2 upgraded items, we're already craving their homemade Italian dishes. This place seems to be more for take-out since they only have 3 booths inside. We ate inside anyway and the service was great! read more

2nd trip to Vamos, both times was carry out. Wanted to make sure I really liked it before rewriting a review. The entry way and inside are very unassuming. No frills. Both times I have been greeted by the same courteous young man. The pizza is good. We ordered a large Meat lovers. It had a good covering of toppings and cheese. Price is pretty good for what you get. It's not discount pizza so don't expect a ridiculously low price. We will be back for more. Might even try something different next time. read more

This place is GOOD.. This was our first time in and we will be back for sure. am a sucker for a crispy crust. Mix in a fresh house salad with a delicious house dressing and excellent customer service and you have a recipe for 5 stars. Even if the pizza wasn't as good as it was, the customer service was good enough we would have tried it again. Luckily the food was great! What read more

Excellent pizzas. We ordered a 2xl Hawaiian and an XL hot honey pepperoni for 8 people and had leftovers! The slices are very large. The delivery took a little over an hour on a Friday night which is understandable. The young lady was so nice and the pizza was piping hot! Delicious, definitely will order again. read more

Found this place a month ago and have been going back weekly. Great food, fair price.

Good pizza at a very reasonable price. I picked up two extra large pizzas that were loaded with toppings for ugluttony. The crust was excellent, and toppings were also good. One extra large should feed four people or two gluttons. read more

One night after work, I decided to finally stop by and give them a try and I was not disappointed! I enjoyed the pizza very much! The only thing that I would change would be to make the crust a bit thicker but this is a personal preference. The service received was great and everything was ready at the promised time! read more

I assume what I got was stuff left over from the night before. Pizza had cheese that didn't even melt after zapping it in the microwave for over a minute. The wilted lettuce and couple of tasteless falling apart croutons only got worse when I attempted to include the worst caeser dressing I've ever had. I will never go here again. read more

Pizzas and salads are delicious and great quality. The employees there are friendly. Now we have three great pizza places within walking distance! They deliver, and that gives them quite an edge over the competition. read more

This is the to go place in Mesquite for Pizza. Ordered a California pizza for son and a customized pizza for my self. From what he told me, he enjoyed his pie. Mine was a 14 inch with pepperoni, onions and jalapeños. Style is New York thin with a good crust. It's truly the closest to real NYC pizza as your going to get here. We also asked for wings with their hot sauce. The wings were very meaty and nicely drenched in sauce. No complaints. Wife ordered a salad which looked awesome with plenty of ham and cheese rolled in. I'm going to have to try it next time. She is very picky and Gabe a total thumbs up! They also make standard Italian dishes like Calzones, Stromboli and of course spaghetti. Going to have to try that. Definately will be back and place Vamos asy go to spot locally. read more

This must be not be confused with the Vamos Pizza place that is now closed and was across from Audubon Park Softball Fields, on Oates Dr, in Garland. It was so, so. It's completely take out, shares the same name as the 5 star Vamos that was on Oates. I don't think I would drive all the way into Mesquite, down Galloway, to get a pizza from this Vamos Pizza Place. They were not friendly or welcoming and told me they were affiliated with the one that is closed. However, I have been told they are totally separate. Not outstanding pizza, just comparable to Dominoes or the like. Not bad, but not a cut above and worth the long trip for me. read more

First time visit; dine in. Ordered 2 large pizzas (meat lovers, cheese) and 2 pasta dishes (manicotti, fettuccine alfredo). All were beautiful dishes, piping hot, delicious, and served with complimentary garlic rolls. We will happily eat an entire second meal from the leftovers. The gentlemen behind the counter were very courteous and helpful. The steady stream of clientele was a lovely mix of families with young children, middle aged couples, solo adults, and groups of friends, some dining in and some picking up to-go orders. It was a very nice, easy going, casual atmosphere. We will be return customers. read more

DE-LISH! My husband and I tried it today. We're regular Joe's customers but thought we'd try something different. Vamos on Galloway in Mesquite got it right! Light cheese, mushroom and perfect crust, not to thick or thin! Vamos is also very clean and the people are nice. We'll be back! Leslie and Dennis Powell Sunnyvale read more

First time customer Ordered the "works" and "MEAT LOVERS" PIZZA. Both were very good, service was nice. Liked the crust very much. Extremely digestible and balanced. 3 out of 4 people who shared the order said it was very good. The only complaint from the remaining person was they didn't like bell pepper! The remaining pieces reheated very, very nicely. I will be back to try pizza by the slice ! read more

I haven't been to this restaurant but I saw a review on the Nextdoor app endorsing it so I decided to give it a try! I ordered two pizzas, "The Meat Lovers and The Works." They were both delicious! They were hot they delivered them quickly, and I didn't have to wait like I normally do when ordering from Pizza Hut, Dominoes, etc. The pizzas were made exactly the way they were described, and they weren't stingy with their toppings! I will definitely be ordering from them again and I will also be trying some of their other dishes as well. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture because they looked so good that I just immediately dug in and started eating! read more

Surprised in the best way! The dough is flavorful on its own and crunchy on the outside/ soft on the inside without being doughy or undercooked. Good distribution of cheese and sauce. It's a good alternative to Joe's if you're wanting a pizza thats a little thicker and crunchier. The service is also really good. read more
