1INCH LONG BONE IN MY SANDWICH!!! Our order was delivered in a very timely manner and it was all correct. The only thing is... I had an inch long SHARP beef bone in my sandwich. Which upon biting into the last part of the first half of my 12 inch Philly cheesesteak i bit down on this hard thing and it also pierced my gum. I had to physically pull it out with force. Marco's Pizza is my favorite pizza place in Forney. They get my order right almost every time and if there is a mistake they fix it and give me a free dessert for my patience. Terrible order, delivery and customer service. I've been ordering from Marco's Pizza in Forney for about a year and a half now, this was by far the worst order/delivery ever. I called placed an order at 6:40pm per the order taker the order would be delivered in 75 minutes. My order of course was late. I called the location, at first I wasn't sure if I called someone's home or a professional establishment because the person didn't have a greeting. I could barely hear them. They didn't have an ETA on my delivery time. My pizza was sitting still at the location waiting for a delivery driver after the 75 minutes so I already assumed it was cold. I asked to speak with a manager I spoke with Sandra and she insured me that my order will be out for delivery that was already late at 8:15. I live 8 minutes from the location. I finally received my cold pizzas at 8:50pm. I am so disappointed in my order and the customer service, my kids really liked Marcos Pizza until today. Over all the pizza suck an the wait for it is even worse. Your promised 30min an you still wait an additional hr. This place is very unorganized they don't call your name after you check in so you pizza gets cold waiting on a rack. We have ordered food from this location many times, and for the last 1.5 years it has been excellent. Ordered it last night and it was horrible! DO NOT get bacon on your pizza! We had two pizzas ruined due to the bacon making it to salty to eat. We have ordered pizza with bacon in the past and it was really good. We live 2.7 miles away from Marco's and tried to order for delivery. I was told that corporate just changed their delivery limits and they no longer deliver to Gateway. I will not be ordering pickup or takeout ever from this place. Maybe they will change their policy in the next year when the economy crashes and people stop ordering takeout. read more

The guy was nice, and the place was also clean, but that's where it ends for the good parts. I was told 10-15 minutes for a foot long sub, and thought that was okay, but it took him 30 minutes and skimped out on the meat and loaded it with mushrooms.... Took too long and cheated on the meal. We ordered a couple pizza's and realized that they gave us the wrong order after the delivery guy had left. We were hungry, so we just said "Hell with it" and ate what was delivered. So... As much as we love Marco's, the last time we called, we were told they no longer deliver to our area. No more Marco's for us. Our home has a Forney address, but I guess because it is outside the true city limits, they are no longer willing to deliver to our area. I feel they are missing out on a lot of business as there are soooo many people in our neighborhood and surrounding our neighborhood. Plus, 2 more subdivisions are being built right by us. Good pizza, but terrible service. We used to have Marcos delivered when we were living in the greater Dallas area. But since we moved to Forney, they have refused to deliver to our community four times because it is "too complicated". On top of that tonight, we had the worst service that we've had here so far. We placed an order earlier this evening, and they called us about 30 minutes later saying "we could not complete the delivery" when we asked why. They refused to give an explanation. They just kept explaining that they could not deliver. We did not get our pizza for almost an hour. And when we finally got our pizza and was able to eat, it was cold. Terrible service tonight. The pizza is below average. For Forney, which has very limited options, it is a 3 star pizza. It's hard to find much better in this area, so far. I ordered from here several times and the pizza has always been alright. The last time I ordered I decided I wanted some boneless wings. The boneless wings, a little bigger than nuggets, were 100% HORRIBLE. You could tell they are pre cooked, deep fried, wings that were reheated quickly in the pizza oven. You can even see the black spots on just ONE side of the wings. On top of that they used even cheaper meat than McDonald's, which at least deep fries them before serving you, because Marco's likes to use both white and dark meat. Horrible quality. I hate to say if you want better boneless wings, aka nuggets, go to McDonalds and save yourself money. You will get better quality and cheaper prices. Newest place in town so we thought we'd give it a try. Since they just opened I'll be fairly kind as they, like all new restaurants, are likely to have start-up problems. First thing I noticed is, although they have a few tables, this place is geared more to take-out and delivery. But they don't have delivery at least at lunch time. This is because they haven't hired enough people yet. Ordering was pretty straight forward even though the young man had that deer-in-the-headlights look as he took our order. Then we were told it would be 25 minutes. So, if you want lunch or dinner I'd call ahead. The pizza and Cheezy bread came out in about 20 minutes. The manager delivered it to the table and said he was making us some more bread because they didn't make it correctly(with cheese all the way to the edge). The piiza was tasty albeit a little greasy but with most fast food pizza it's that way and this was no worse than any other. The crust had a good flavor and all the spices had a pretty good harmony. The cheezy bread was also good but not much different than Pizza Hut or Pizza Inn. In a town overrun with pizza joints, this one is pretty average. We'll eat here again or at least order out/delivery as it's a change from the other major chains in town. I think they are dedicated to being a good place to go but I don't know, given their location and the amount of pizza places in town, that they will survive. Knock out a wall and expand into the next space and make it a destination for Friday night after the high school football games and other events. I hope it lasts. I'm pretty burned out on Papa John's, Pizza Hut and Dominos. read more

The pizza taste OKAY, but the customer service is beyond terrible!!!! No one seems to understand how anything works and everyone looks extremely lost. Picture explaining trigonometry to a 4 year old. You'll have to repeat yourself several times, talk slow and even still the 4 year old probably won't understand at the end of it all. That's what it's like trying to order pizza at this place. Since my initial post I have gotten the chance to try Marco's pizza and subs. Here is what I thought... Pizza: Great. We tried the "Deluxe Uno" which has on it: Cheese, Classic pepperoni, Italian sausage mushrooms, green peppers, onions & sprinkling of extra cheese The sauce, cheese, ingredients and dough are superior to anything in the area hands down. I do wish though it did have more veggies on it though and this is only thing I could say would make it better and that would move it from a 4 to a 5 star rating. Subs: I had the "Italiano" sub which has on it: Provolone, Red Onions, Ham, Salami, Tomato, Banana Peppers, Italiano Dressing and is Oven Baked. This is one tasty sub folks and my wife also loved it.
