It finally arrived over 30 minutes after the estimated delivery time. We called to get status of our order & was told was on its way. We live in neighborhood right across 548. Once arrived it was all cold, called them back to let them know order was completely cold not even slightly warm. The manger offered to remake our order or give refund, we asked for it to be remade. Not even 30 minutes after, the manger himself brought us our entire order piping hot & fresh himself! We called them again just to let them know how much we appreciated him. There was a significant lack of communication and transparency around pricing and fees. I had to follow up MANY times before the date of our dinner, often without receiving a response. When I did receive responses, they were frequently unclear and, at times, unprofessional. Additional fees continued to come up throughout the process, and I really wish a detailed breakdown of all costs had been provided upfront. This service is by no means inexpensive, so clear and professional communication should be a given. We also booked our dinner for 8:30 PM. The team arrived to set up, but then told us they had to leave again to get the food. They ultimately did not start cooking until around 8:50, which was frustrating considering we had booked a specific start time. Again, the staff themselves were wonderful once the dinner got started, but the overall experience leading up to it was unnecessarily stressful because of the lack of organization, communication, and transparency from the owner. There are many hibachi companies offering this type of service, and unfortunately, based on my experience, this is not one I would recommend.
