I stopped in for breakfast on a drive up from Bensalem to Bristol Borough. There was upfront…read moreparking and a private side parking lot. I went in and sat at one of several stools at the counter. The inside felt like you were walking into someone's house and sitting on their porch. A couple of locals filed in after a short while, mostly tradesman and a local fireman. Their kitchen is slightly visible behind the counter. The ladies taking care of me kept my coffee topped off (good diner roast, nothing bad) and explained that the highlighted menu items could be ordered as a half portion. Their menu features a dozen or so omelettes, a half dozen breakfast grinders on a long roll, waffles/pancakes/french toast, S.O.S, biscuits and sausage, country fried steak and eggs, a few styles of eggs benedict, 1/2/3 egg platters, breakfast sandwiches and kids meals. (also oatmeal, cereal, bagel, muffins, grits) Just a standard 2 eggs with home fries, rye toast $5.25 and a side of bacon $5.50 was what I was after. My grub came out pretty quickly since they weren't too busy. The eggs were good, a nice portion of bacon accompanied it and the home fries were ok. The rye toast was a bit bland. I looked around and saw plenty of empty tables behind me. It looked like with a bit of passion, cleaning and updating the OCC could join a handful of great local spots that survive with a loyal following. Based on past reviews and not knowing the inside politics of the place I can't say I had a bad experience. Wawa opened down the road and I heard it put a hurting on the local spots along State Road. That's a tough hill to climb. I'll give 'em a 3.5 and would return if in the area. It's tough being a small business owner and busting your a&% while watching the constant flow at the Wawa down the street. Around $15 plus tip was around what the local competition would be at for the same portion. No one was rude or out of line on my visit, but some TLC on the inside wouldn't hurt! Thanks guys!

Small town ambiance Have you ever wanted to live out your wildest small town diner dreams? Well come to the Radcliffe, where the servers are all so sweet and make you feel like you are a local that comes in everyday for coffee and your sunny side eggs. The customer service right from the door is so warm and inviting like a hug from a cozy grandma. As for the food, you get mostly classic breakfast foods like pancakes, sandwiches and the crispy home fries. It is nothing flashy but it is delicious. The coffee is good and they are constantly filling your cup. I also appreciate that they have reasonable prices in this crazy economy. The only downside is that the place is small, so be prepared to wait on the weekend a little bit. We have never waited more than 15 minutes because this part of town is not too busy. Come check them out!

The staff was friendly and prompt. They kept the coffee coming and made you feel at home. Cash only, but they have an ATM on site. I had their two egg special - eggs scrambled with sausage links, home fries and rye toast for $6-$7 ..... with coffee, around $10-$11. The home fries were ok, but the eggs and sausage hit the spot. Their coffee was a tasty roasted blend that needed nothing added. Their lunch menu looks like it has some great choices with all different styles of - steak sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and salads. I'd definitely return if in the area for the friendly and quick service. If you need a break from the busier Mill Street area this is a good place to land! Thanks guys!

Everything had very good flavor. My least favorite was the eggplant only because of the consistency. Personal taste of course considering I'm a meat eater. Was looking for a little bit more crunch or firmness on the outside. It was more like a soft cake if that makes sense. The cauli pesto was delicious. Fresh and pesto was just right. The salad was plentiful with a very nice dressing. The olives added the saltiness needed. The vegan feta tasted like Feta! Impressed. The vegan whipped feta was #1! The caramelized dates paired so well with the feta. Overall I was impressed and have to say I would recommend if you are vegetarian, vegan or not! Can't beat fresh and local ingredients in my mind.
