An opening night can both rattle nerves for employees and bring a blessing to patrons who partake in the new restaurant's food. On opening night the service was excellent, and the food was amazing. We were offered free wine tasting samples and management came by to give each of the ladies at the table their own rose, which added a great touch to the service aspect of the Restaurant. We started with the crab stuffed shrimp, which was amazingly presented and tasted great as well, I could have just had that as a meal, or ordered two servings and just been happy with that! The next thing I had was a chicken stuffed with artichoke hearts and spinach... this was great as well... I didn't taste any of the other food people ordered so I can't comment on those other dishes but the Chicken Parm looked great as well... If they keep the par quality of the food the same then I can see this becoming one of the best restaurants in the Sequim area... I will return!

"Caramelized" pineapple on specialty pizza. Barely warm, much less "caramelized" on this wonder of culinary art.

Stayed at the 7 Cedars hotel which is first rate. The dining experience leaves a lot to be desired. Ordered two gluten free pizzas, a regular margarita pizza and a chicken Parmesan. Don't even know where to begin. The person at the counter said they were backed up and we'd have to wait 30-35 minutes. I appreciated the heads up, but it ended up taking over an hour (after I watched as they charbroiled one of the pizzas and needed to remake it). The toppings and crust -- on the regular pizza -- were subpar. Somehow they managed to get more tomato skin than tomatoes on the pizza and the basil was a dash of dried basil, no fresh basil in sight. The "caramelized pineapples" on the "tropical heat" pizza looked straight out of the can. Given the the one burned pizza the others were cold by the time the new one was made. The staff wasn't able to associate the chicken Parmesan with my order, it had been shoved to the side while the pizzas were being made and was cold too. You are better off ordering from Dominos. Would have been 100% better and half the price. I paid over $80 for a dinner that was half eaten because it was so subpar. Save yourself the money and frustration. Go elsewhere.

Their pizza is superb and priced well. Best to order ahead if you're taking out. As locals we do business with them regularly.

The flavor combinations and nuance of tastes put together are a delight to the senses. I am never disappointed here. Incredible gluten free options (pizza!!) and locally sourced fresh ingredients from farmers and fishers. Highly recommend. Really lovely people too. Very friendly. Nice small place too so it's quite intimate. Outdoor highly heated with a roof so no rain risk. Small indoor area seating with lovely live edge bar. Great chance to do low sugar too as I did a Shirley temple half sweet. In house made syrup and soda water! In house made most things really. The lemon pie is to die for.

Since we were in town over a holiday weekend, we were thankful we made a reservation because it was busy. The service was friendly and pretty prompt throughout our meal. We started with the special salad, which was fresh and flavorful -- a great way to kick things off. Then we had the four-cheese pizza with pepperoni, and it was absolutely delicious! The seasoning was just right, and we enjoyed every bite. To finish, we had the Chocolate Bliss for dessert. It was rich and soft on the inside, with a lovely raspberry filling that really came through. We'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area!

Ordering is usually done via QR code, but they are also happy to orders at the register. One thing to note: on our visit, the restaurant left the front door open and didn't turn on heating so we found it rather cold inside. Clam Chowder in Sourdough Bread Bowl ($14) - Salty Girls has one of the best preparations for chowder bread bowls I've encountered. They expertly hollow out the center as much as absolutely possible, leaving maybe only half an inch of bread on the sides (I think they use the trimmings to make their homemade croutons). This allows them to ladle in the maximal amount of clam chowder, much more than most I've had in the past. While I believe the bread is some commercial one, it has a distinct, but light, sourdough taste and doesn't have the overwhelming taste of stabilizers and preservatives that some bread bowls run into. It's toasted very nicely, giving a fantastic crust, while the interior bread remains light rather than dense, yet holds up to the chowder well. The chowder itself is pretty good. It's thickened, but still just runny enough to not feel like it's been over reduced. Not clumpy or super heavy as some other chowders. There's a strong herbal quality in the mix, combined with large pieces of clam and bacon. The amount of clam isn't very generous, but there's enough of the chewy mollusk to get at least a piece per spoonful. Lots of tender diced potato chunks complete the chowder. There's by far the most potato in terms of ingredients in this dish, making it very carb heavy. The chowder is served steaming hot and remains quite hot for a long while even in the cold air of the restaurant. (4/5) Crab Melt ($18) - Interesting open faced sandwich, with the crusty heel portion of a ciabatta roll, toasted until crispy on the flats, but still softer on the interior, albeit thin. It's topped with an ice cream scoop of crab salad. The salad is essentially tuna salad with the crab substituted for tuna. This means there's a ton of crab and not much filler - plenty of sweet shreds of crab meat, mixed with a couple of crunchy pieces of celery in a creamy sauce. The crab salad is then topped with cheese, then the entire creation is broiled until the cheese on top becomes bubbly and the cheese that flows down the sides of the bread becomes essentially a crunchy cheese skirt. Something to note, not necessarily a negative, is that the center of the crab salad scoops remains cold, which is in stark contrast to the warmed exterior. The dish comes with a side of ridged kettle chips. Robustly crunchy, simply salted. Surprisingly good to dip into the clam chowder in fact. (4/5) Salty Girls definitely serves some good seafood dishes. I certainly wouldn't mind returning the next time I'm in Seqium. This was a pleasantly surprising experience as a vegan…read more My friend and I came in to celebrate as we are in town for hiking trip but wanted to do one nice dinner out. She made reservations and chose outdoors, not realizing it would be so cold, so I was freezing in my cotton dress. When I asked if they had any heaters, they kindly offered blankets so I took two and bundled myself up. For the amuse bouche, we got a radish with baba ghanoush and some sort of blackberry balsamic. For the first course, I got shishito peppers with baba ghanoush. The peppers weren't too spicy and paired well with the baba ghanoush. It's not something I would have probably sought out to eat myself so it was nice to have something different. For the main course, I got a shiitake, oyster mushroom rice noodle curry. This was surprisingly filling to the point that I had to waste some of the rice noodles. For dessert, I got a pear ginger blackberry fruit crisp. It was nice that you could taste that it wasn't made with a bunch of added sugar or anything. My friend got the other vegan dessert which was a coconut tapioca pudding, which I also tried, and was nice and light and tart, with some figs at the top. Service was great. Our server asked right off the bat about dietary restrictions so I told her vegan, no honey for myself. There was a very long gap between course 1 and course 2 which may have led to me getting full earlier than anticipated, and then the gap between the entree and dessert wasn't as vast. Our entire dinner took about two hours at Nourish, 7-9pm, which is longer than we expected, but the food was a pleasant experience. As a vegan, a little more protein was top of mind when reading the menu, but I love that they created good vegetable based dishes without any mock meats or excess sodium or processed ingredients. My friend also really enjoyed her food. Priced at $78 per person, it's a nice night out. We recommend.
