Napa Nuts popped into my Facebook feed so I dropped into their website. They have a lot of variety much more than Costco and your bulk food bins. Ordering was easy. There's free shipping. The owner personally sent an email of thanks which you don't get nowadays. Order came this morning. The nuts were fresh. I really liked it. The only one I probably won't buy again is the everything nuts. I don't know whether it's the herbal mixture but the almonds were sort of soft and moist. I use their almonds to make my almond butter. I use their cashews to make my dairy free ice cream. I use their dates to sweeten all sorts of things... making paleo date cookies tonight! I find the products at Napa Nuts to be excellent, in general. However, one of their products, their dried nectarines, contain many small bits of crushed pit...so much so that again and again I was convinced I had broken a tooth. I feel they need to change whatever their process is for removing the flesh from the stone. Terrific nuts. I like the raw unsalted almonds best. They just taste fresher than anywhere else. Also, my Mom loves the dried berry mix. You can pick up the order and save on shipping. I like to go here to pick up snacks before trips. Be prepared to order online, wait for a confirmation email (not just that they have received the order, but also that it is ready for pickup) and then pick up. read more

Purchased from Napa Nuts for the first time and though we have only sampled a fraction of what we ordered, so far so good. The raw pecans and almonds are earthy and sweet. The dried fruit, especially the mango strips, are chewy and flavorful and the 'natural' dried blueberries an unexpected find. Just wish they had a larger selection of unsulphered fruit and larger than 1 lb aliqouts to reduce packaging, but that is just me. Delivery was prompt, (Bay Area so local) and the company was kind enough to throw in a free bag of dark chocolate peanuts - chocolate was not overly sweet and peanuts had a nice mild roasted flavor. Probably will order those in the future. They also have a nice selection of seeds and other snacks. read more

I have to give them no more than 3 stars. It's unfortunate because I love their products. Where Napa Nuts failed is communication, lack of service and very poor representation of excellent customer service. On their website and even exclaimed here on Yelp, Napa Nuts is open Monday through Friday during their "normal business hours" even during the pandemic "as of As of March 16, 2020, Napa Nuts is staying open but we are taking extra precautions in light of COVID-19 to ensure the safety of our staff and our customers. Napa Nuts is temporarily closing its warehouse to the public; however, we will be able to do car-side pick-ups and in-town deliveries for all customers who want to order." So 4:30 pm Friday August 14 I drove up to their warehouse after a 3 hour drive from Nevada to pick up my order. Nobody was there. I called to inform them I was outside but only got their voice mail. at 5:10 pm I finally left after leaving a second message. I could not take my order back home with me because they're closed on weekends. Monday I received a call from Brendan at Napa Nuts letting me know my order is ready for pick up and that that on Fridays they close at 4:30. Hmmm I didn't see anyone leave the building when I was there. Since I'm currently attend school out of state I had to leave the task of picking up my order with my parents who live in Napa. My mom called to let them know they're coming to pick up my order and were snidely told that Napa Nuts has not kept their normal hours since covid-19 and that I came to pick up my order too late that Friday. Again, hmmmm because their website and as posted on their warehouse doors states their hours are from 9-5 Monday thru Friday. I am thoroughly disappointed with my experience with Napa Nuts because I was excited to learn during lockdown that this locally owned business exists in my hometown so I sincerely wanted to support them during the pandemic and even more pleased that I have been happy with the quality of their product. I understand if there was an emergency but that didn't seem to be the case and it didn't help that Brendan's attitude was nothing less than demeaning toward myself and my mom who also complained to me about his attitude . I hope Napa Nuts looks into upgrading their quality of service to match their product in the future. for now they lost my account. :( read more
