    Small affogato
    Maritza S.

I didn't try the chocolate but I had a small affogato. It was a single shot of espresso with a tiny portion of vanilla which was just perfect for me. Service is kind of slow but that's expected when it's busy. The employees were friendly.

It's chocolate. There's not much not to like! They have plenty of options, their display cases are organized and well stocked. They have chocolate wine bottles and other goodies as well. The customer service was great. The lady was patient with our indecisiveness in picking our chocolates. We tried a number of pieces. But specifically I liked the glazed almond crunch, which tasted almost like nestle crunch but with flakes of almond, and the peanut crunch, which was pretty much chocolate covered peanut brittle. It was delicious. Yelp check in also got us a free truffle, so we opted for the cappuccino truffle, and is was so yummy, just the right balance of coffee flavor and sweetness with that perfect chocolate shell. Anette's Chocolates is a great candy/dessert option to have at Oxbow Public Market in Napa.

6 piece mix in a box including Dark Caramel, Cappuccino and Belmont.

I am reviewing the location in Oxbow Public Market. My wife and I just spent a weekend in Napa and while at Oxbow we stopped by for some chocolates. We decided to do a six piece box. We both tried the cappuccino and dark caramels. The cappuccino had nice chocolate flavor and good coffee flavor but not overwhelming. The Dark Caramels were my favorite of the three I tried this visit. Dark chocolate gave a nice bitter note to the caramel. The reason I am giving 4/5 stars is once in a while you will find a flavor that doesn't match up to the rest. The Belmont sounded like it would be my favorite. Described as "vanilla cream rolled in roasted almonds and chocolate". The outside was great! The inside disappointed me. It was one note. Overall we will definitely come back when in the area. More often then not you get a great chocolate.

Super cute chocolate place. I love their truffles and all the interesting items that include chocolate and either wine or liquor. They have ice cream in the back too that was really popular. We stopped in twice! I loved their chocolate covered marshmallows.

My friend Parcia and I stumbled across this place while we were on a weekend adventure to napa Valley. There was a yelp check in offer for a free truffle. They had the most friendly service and they actually had a giant selection of choclate to choose from. I got my free truffle and a few other chocolates to snack on. I took a bite and the choclates were packed with flavor and just made me supe happy. This is just the best place and im so happy to have found it. This will deffinatly be my napa Valley stop for whenever I'm in the hour. So happy to have found this place. Its so amazing.

Came during the truffle festival. Tried the truffle hazelnut. Very yummy! I didn't think it would come in such a cute packaging as well!

I've learned the hard way. It's better to call to make sure they're not out of stock or something that you really want. Krystal is the person who answered the phone. She was really friendly and really nice. Very helpful with information and I said I'll see you in a little bit to get some ice cream. I went down there and they had a excellent variety of flavors. I tasted several flavors and landed on strawberry. I was in the mood for it. OK that was my second choice actually I'm gonna be honest there was a mint chocolate chip that they just ran out of, but they had enough to give me a little taste sample and OMG when they get more in stock, I'm gonna go get some. It's rare when they run out of stock completely but it happens that's life I saw how Khystal was with several customers and dad went in there with his three-year-old daughter and I was like yeah you know please go ahead and help them. I'm not in a rush so she was kind of juggling and then there was too like 12 or 13 years old, but she was helping these customers while helping me and that's OK so I settled on strawberry and it tasted really great. I thanked her for being so nice on the phone and in person and so helpful. The prices are great and you can get a free cake or sugar cone then with sugar since I hadn't had one of those in quite a while. They got a variety of other great candies as well. Do yourself a favor go get some ice cream or the raspberry sorbet which is seriously money anyways thanks Crystal for being so awesome... at this point, I'm using voice text so if they're grammatical errors, this is the reason why I hope ownership gives Crystal a raise and acknowledges her efforts to represent the business because she is the opposite of a minimal effort to check collecting Employee Thank you for reading

My absolute favorite is the Dang Dazy milk chocolate--its velvety texture paired with crunchy almond and hazelnut bits creates the perfect balance. The Earl Grey dark chocolate was also incredibly good. While the richness of the dark chocolate leans slightly dominant, you can still catch those subtle, fragrant notes of Earl Grey in each bite. At around $3 per bonbon, it's definitely on the pricier side--but considering the quality, creativity, and variety of flavors, I think it's completely justified. It's especially heartbreaking to share that this is widely considered one of the best artisan chocolate shops in California, and they're now closing their only store in Yountville due to slow business and rising costs. Losing a place like this feels like losing a true gem. If you're anywhere near Yountville, make the trip and show them some love while you still can.

Earth & Sky Chocolates is actually in one of the converted train cars. They don't have a hanging sign, just one posted on the nearby pillar, so it's not immediately obvious which car they're in. If you're coming from the "front" of the station (where the depot is), it'll be the last car on the left. This is actually their second location, with their main shop in downtown Napa. They also have a website where you can purchase VEGAN and non-vegan boxes or even subscribe to a monthly box. Calistoga Depot is a recently opened market(?) along their main street (Lincoln Ave) repurposing the second-oldest train depot and train station in California. All the train cars had their interiors redone and are so worth the visit, every one of them seems to have a unique aesthetic. Be aware that each car is an individual shop. We had thought that everything was closed because of the tinted windows, not-quite-open businesses in some cars, and very few people at the time. But Earth & Sky Chocolates WAS open, and we got some great treats from there. Bonbons, brittles, little caramels, and (most importantly) HANDMADE MARSHMALLOWS! My friends and I each tried a passionfruit mango caramel and were shocked at how much it REALLY tasted like passionfruit, which made the caramel very light. Main thing for me is that this was all very pricey. Definitely more of a special occasion kind of thing. But with the local Calistoga Depot Distillery next door and the wineries down the street, they're also a convenient stop if you're looking to do wine-chocolate tastings.
