They have contacted us multiple times after our purchase, which was in mid March, asking if we wanted to buy another vehicle not realizing that they had just sold us one. The thermostat needed replaced within the first month, in addition to the wiper mechanism needing to be adjusted. The worst of it is that we had the van for less than four months and now the back brakes AND calipers need replaced at a cost of over $1000. Rather convenient for Calgary Car Centre that the only thing their "extended warranty" does NOT cover is brakes. We could have gone to a different dealership, but thought we were getting the best deal here. Avoid this place at all costs.

Carmello wanted to do a rough calculations on what I qualify for, they asked me for my driver's license and last few pay stubs & trade vehicle details. Then they are all lost , I hear nothing from them , I followed up what is the update, they said we are waiting for banks to answer us, I was surprised, I kept following up again that might be some response they are looking from banks based on rough calculations. Later they dont prefer to call again and I had to make calls and I learn Tesla & Palisiade both are sold and I had an unconsented Credit Check on my credit Bureaus. I have never consented my Credit check. So now I have an unnecessary credit check and illegal credit check on my file which I am disputing and filing it to AMVIC. They can steal your identity. VEX has been my go-to shop for all of my highly modified cars - since my Out Of Province inspection…read moreback in 2012, to my current STI and Evo8 builds. Out of many positive experiences, I'd like to highlight the way both Ryan and Jimmy will discuss and help the customer understand their recommendations or diagnoses. I really appreciate them educating me on how and why the parts they recommend are better long term, and overall safer for the car at high power levels. They continuously stay on top of industry best practices and are educating themselves with conferences and training events. They only deal with the best parts suppliers, and of course will help upgrade any inferior parts installed by a customer or shop who didn't know better. Their basic and maintenance services (such as oil changes, new brakes, timing belt service) have always been quick and efficient, without inflating my bill beyond what I would expect to pay for quality workmanship and parts. I recommend my family and non-car-enthusiast friends to VEX for their routine services, since I know Ryan can explain what they need better than I can! On a few occasions, they've spotted issues (or little things that may become an issue) and brought these to my attention before it could cost me big bucks or damage any other parts! Pre-dyno inspections are a great idea they've been doing for years - before your car gets pushed hard, every belt, bolt, and hose is checked, so you're not out a lot of money over something that could have been fixed early. I was able to source some rare JDM parts for my current Subaru, as well as a discontinued set of Volks/RAYS rims in my bolt pattern. They have almost all common parts in stock or less than a few days away for common upgrades to Subarus, such as when they ordered my Apexi WS3 muffler, Whiteline endlinks, SuperPro swaybar, Kartboy short shifter, KW v3 coilovers, Aquamist HSFv3 water-methanol kit, EFR turbo. When you're modifying cars for big power, you can expect some ups and downs - but VEX makes the experience as easy and gratifying as possible! If my car has ever had an issue, it has never been caused by the work I've had at VEX, but they have been quick to diagnose the issue and get me back up and running. It's great to go home with a well-tuned, healthy engine, making more power than when you rolled in. Can't wait for my Evo to be all set up and ready for big power! Thanks Ryan, Jimmy, and all the techs and support folks who make the business a success!

In the past two years I've taken my car to three different Canadian Tires in Calgary and have found I can't trust any of them at all.
