It all started Early 02-25=had my stalled car towed there and AAS&R gave me estimate started around $2550 main thing said it was an over-stretched timing chain(~100k on my Malibu) but Vic found much more that needed doing, and then when car still was fainting on road he said it was a sensor eventually running the Bill up to around $2850 ( i may have paid a bit less as he gave some discount. I spent $157.50 at 2nd Repairer and another $107.50 at the 3rd Repairer {i now even have doubts about whether or not other of the repairs were necessary} which he has refused to reimburse me for and i reckon that his team forgot to spray the terminal with a good quality oxidation retardant after replacing it. This does not reimburse me for all of my time wasted traveling back and forth including bus rides and waiting in his office. read more

Went here for an oil change, it's very affordable. They were quick and thorough and when they informed me that I had a major leak in my gasket; they offered to take me under my car to show exactly what was going on. I was very happy with the friendly, timely, efficient and quality service provided by the staff at Alberta Auto Sales & Repair. What impressed me most was the integrity exhibited by the front office staff. Work was identified that needed to be performed immediately due to parts failure or for safety reasons and work that could be deferred. The need for any additional significant repairs or parts was explained ahead of time with no work taking place until my approval was given to do so. My vehicle lights were checked with bulbs being replaced as necessary thus avoiding me getting a $300 plus traffic violation ticket. The charge for shop supplies was very reasonable and did not appear to be a percentage of the repair costs like some places.
