Background on the Civic: I was having it serviced exclusively at W & B along with changing the oil myself. I started getting an occasional odd misfire when accelerating at low RPM. They changed some electrical components and it seemed fixed (or at least greatly improved) for a couple months, but then returned badly. After that they couldn't fix it. I went to another shop in frustration and they couldn't fix it either. I ended up trading in for a new car, even though the Civic had another 5-10 years left in it if that issue was fixed.

I took my car to Kaltire in the Northwest region to get an out of province inspection - they failed…read morethe car, and said that I needed to pay them $3000 to get everything repaired. I took the car to InspectaCAR for a second opinion. They were able to see all the comments that Kaltire had made and all the parts that were failed initially. And they inspected those areas very closely, and disagreed with the comments (e.g. they did not see the leak that Kaltire had claimed to have seen). And guess what? My car passed! InspectaCAR saved me from being scammed $3000, and provided detailed explanations why they thought my car should be passed, and how they disagreed with all the comments that Kaltire had made. It makes sense to take cars to InspectaCAR for Out of Province Inspections because they do not do the repairs, so they have no incentive to scam customers in order to charge thousands of dollars on repairs. I highly recommend this place.

They have no idea what they are doing and the owner is a complete prick and absolutely useless. All he could do was get angry back at me and tell me "You can't be pleased" They ruined my car for the time being as it was fine before I took it to them. I finally took it back to Volkswagen dealer where the alignment was performed PROPERLY and my car has never run better. I am doing my best to tell everyone I know to never go to this place, they should be shut down and thrown in jail.
