I just bought a 2020 Mercedes Benz C300 convertible from Auto World in Calgary. I had the pleasure of dealing with Sunny who was very professional. The car only had 29,876 Kil, was in great shape and I got a great deal. The car was inspected by their shop and they supplied my with a Carfax report. They gave allowed me to take a road test without some pushy salesman trying to sell me on the car. Auto World runs a first class operation. The premisses were clean, the staff friendly and they had a large selection of cars both in their outdoor lot and their inside showroom. Worst experience ever then they tried to keep my key and give me a different one!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE!! I an a business owner and I employed this so too simply put the accessories on an engine and put it in. They (the owner/manager of the shop) continuously would message me saying he couldn't find stuff (hoses, sensors etc). Keep in mind this is all things subaru, nothing else specifically. Finally after a month I tell them I'll take it elsewhere to get the job done.I go grab my engine and parts and ask if I owe anything and to get my key for the car. Both employees I'm dealing with acted like they didn't understand and weren't ALLOWED to get my key! After asking why I couldn't have my key one of the employees actually told me to call the cops with my problem!! What?!?! Finally I got told the manager was coming down. I had to wait for 45min for the manager or whatever his title is there (yet again the manger/owner) to give me my key. He says "what's the hurry, we can square up in a couple days when you pick up the car." Ummmm NO! I told him I wanted to pay what I owe then leave. He kept holding back giving my key back. I'm getting mad! I take out cash, ask what I owe and tell them let me pay and take my stuff and leave! He then says I don't owe anything?!? What?!? Then give me my key!!! Then he proceeds to give me a different key after talking to the employees in the back where I could hear. So I told him I'd meet him at my car where I had to make sure my key worked. This is the SHADIEST business I've ever dealt with! Among this during the last week talking with people I have heard nothing but nightmare stories from this shop. From a successful business owner to future clients, this manager didn't even know what the definition of quality was!! Therefore you will NOT get what you pay for. Be aware of this place! read more
