A friend of mind said he would change my oil in my car with this new oil sucking thingy, where he could change my oil and not have to jack up the car. The oil filter is mounted on the top, how you unscrew that and not have a bunch of oil pour out, I dunno, but I guess it works. Well, he got the oil sucked out through the dip stick tube and into a big container. Now, I gotta dump the used oil somewhere, and not like just toss it in the trash. I hear Auto Zone will take it free. So he dumped the oil into two old gallon containers, and managed not to spill any all over my garage! I took the oil over to AutoZone, since that's where I purchased the new oil and filter he filled my car with. It was super easy, they just took the old oil no problem. That sure beats trying to figure out what else to do with it, besides hiding it in the trash! If you have used oil, take it here!

With that being said, I've gotten parts there to make itty bitty little changes and such that I can do without burning myself or tearing the skin off my knuckles. AND, any time I've needed a part, I go here. The staff is friendly, quick to help, and I never feel as if I'm looked at like a total worthless example of a man because I don't work on my car. THAT alone is why this is the only place I go. I refer to car parts as Doohickie, and thingamabobs. and Surprisingly... they know what i'm talking about! They did have it in stock but when my husband asked if there was a less expensive option the man on the phone said, "No!" and then hung up. He was almost to the middle of the road on Rio Lindo. I am handicapped myself, so I pulled into Bob's and asked if they could please help this man. They told me they were busy and to move my car because another customer needed to move. I left my car running and hobbled out to help this young man. He had groceries that obviously came out of the trash. I got a bag from my car and helped him myself. My sister said one of the men who worked at Bob's called me an "asshole". The young man who fell was struggling to get up and not one of these 4 employees who saw him tried to help him. I did go into the business and told them they should all be ashamed of themselves. I wonder if they would treat a fellow human being this way, how well do they care for our cars. I will never go back, and I will encourage others not to go back.
