AND, any time I've needed a part, I go here. The staff is friendly, quick to help, and I never feel as if I'm looked at like a total worthless example of a man because I don't work on my car. I believe they are being fraudulent in order to make extra money from people. Both vehicles are running fine and neither have a check engine light on. Definitely avoid at all costs - they are going downhill fast. Very untrustworthy and we will be reporting them to the BBB.

I needed a transfer case for my work truck right away. I would have bought a rebuilt one, but…read moreneeded it quick. A friend recommended this place. I called Roger and he said they had one in Oregon with 110,000 miles on it. I paid over 900 bucks for it and went to pick it up after they had it shipped to their Red Bluff location. Looking at my receipt after I got home I read the VIN of the truck the transfer case was removed from. I got curious and did a google search on that VIN. The truck I found had 230,000 miles, not 110,000. That's a huge difference. I called Roger and he said they must have not been able to find the low mileage one so they sent that one instead. He said sorry and I could return it if I didn't want it. Im forced to keep it since I need the work truck back on the road. I asked if the high mile one would be cheaper and get some kind of refund and I was told no. I would never have bought something with that high of miles. I would NOT recommend this place.

We recently experienced an electrical system failure shortly after departing Redding (KRDD) Airport…read moreon a Friday afternoon enroute to our home airport in the San Diego area. The nature of the failure required a precautionary landing at the nearest airport which turned out to be Red Bluff (KRBL) airport. Once on the ground we contacted Cardan Aircraft Services to help us diagnose and repair, if possible, the fault so we could continue our journey. We made a fortunate choice in calling Cardan. Although busy with customer aircraft, they agreed to look at our airplane immediately. We un-cowled our airplane and began checking the alternator and associated electrical system. Cardan quickly spotted the problem. We corrected it, tested it on the ground, and were back in the air in about one hour. That was a big relief, as one of us had already begun calling hotels and rental car agencies while the other was working with Cardan on the airplane. We expected to be stuck at KRBL for at least overnight if not for the weekend. If we ever experience trouble in the air again that requires maintenance help on the ground to get back on our way, I hope to encounter another service business just like Cardan.
