We were traveling from the bay area to Mount Lassen in our 2005 camper van when the engine light came on and we started having low power. We found a campground and looked for a place to get a repair. Luckily we were about 1/4 mile from High Tech and they turned out to be absolutely fantastic. They fit us into their busy schedule and had the needed hose delivered by the next morning, then installed and we were on the way. The final charge was $50 lower than the estimate. Our experience with this company was that of wonderful service. We were beyond satisfied. Comes with my highest recommendation. read more

We had an excellent experience with this shop while traveling across the country with my family. We had a major issue come up on our 2012 Ram 3500, and Bryson, Bri, and the entire team were incredibly accommodating from start to finish. They took the time to properly diagnose the problem, explained everything clearly, and worked with us on pricing so it was fair and reasonable for the amount of work performed. The rear axle replacement, transmission service, and inspections were all handled professionally and thoroughly. What really stood out was how they went above and beyond to help us while we were on the road -- that level of care is hard to find, especially when you're far from home with your family. I truly appreciate Bryson, Bri, and the whole team for their honesty, communication, and professionalism. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing diesel or heavy-duty truck work. read more

Great service every time. I truly trust them with my vehicles. I had three different oil changes done. They check all aspects of the car.

I was having an oil leak issue as jiffy lube overfilled my oil. It had come out everywhere. They told me I needed a bunch of things done so I brought it here for 2nd opinion. All I needed was a dip stick. They were honest got me in last minute and I will definitely be going back to them for anything that needs to be done on my vehicle. Also they didn't charge me either. They rock. Honesty is the best thing when looking for a mechanic and this shop is. read more

These guys are HEAVEN SENT! Honest, kind, and knowledgeable! We had just started our journey to move out of state when our truck sprung an oil leak. We found Hi Tech 30 minutes before they were going to close shop and they were so kind hearted to take a look and ensure us we would be on the road in the best condition by the next morning (as they had to go get the replacement seal). They even recommended a nearby motel that was inexpensive, clean and felt safe! I can't thank them enough. And did I mention the free drinks and snacks? Thank you, guys! You really saved us! read more

Our 3500 2015 RAM was overheating on our return trip to Oregon from Bodega Bay,California . We made it to the Rolling Hills RV Park ( a great place ) This was Sunday evening ,Monday morning at 9 am I drive the truck to Hi-Tech ( after checking YELP) ...the service manager , I think Bryson , listened to my description of the problem ..he almost immediately had one of his techs on it . He started looking for obvious problems first ,visable leaks ,faulty thermostat and water pump . All those looked ok so they ran a pressure check . They were thinking either an EGR reservoir issue ( fairly reasonable fix ) or a head gasket issue ( very expensive fix )! Within 1/2 hour of me driving in they determined it was the EGR . Bryson ordered parts and promised me they'd be in by Wednesday...he was wrong ..he called me at 1130 on Tuesday ,.the part arrived that morning and they had installed and road tested and I could pick it up ( they had a driver pick me up at the RV Park We were on our way a day early and they were also a couple of hundred dollars under the estimate they'd given us We were treated with total respect the whole time . They also found a few problems that wouldn't affect our trip but should be looked at when we got home Too many shops would take advantage of travelers , charging extra for expedited work and shipping as well as trying to "upsell" services ! I highly recommend Hi-Tech friendliness and most of all for efficient and reasonably priced jobs read more

Don't go to Kupers especially if your a female by themselves they'll charge you extra hours for sure. After Kupers crapped out in me and then two other shops flat out denied business with me HI-TECH Automotive said bring her on down no problem. They're diesel engine tech is hands down really fast and smart as heck. Great bunch of folks the owner was super informative but also respectful and sympathetic to me getting my bastard of a truck good to go. They back up thier work gave me a cpl breaks too on a few things. Call them if you want a honest experience with peace of mind knowing it's done right. read more

I had taken my car to a different mechanic and had a slightly used engine put in. Unfortunately it was not done correctly and they would not stand behind the engine they bought or the work they did and told me it was ok to drive it--never telling me the truth. $8500 dollars later, i cannot drive it. I took it to Hi-Tech for a second opinion. I was educated. If i had only known what Hi-Tech told me about this engine, i would never have had it put in. I do not wrench on cars myself and It needs more work now. Not only did he educate me but he gave me realistic options. Hi-Tech is honest, charges a fair price, compassionate to their customers needs, and from what i hear in the community- cares about the safety of their customers. Next- I took my truck into have it fixed and he showed me the part that was bad and educated me about why it is bad and how that part works in the engine. Honest and fair price again. This is my new mechanic and i will not go anywhere else. I do not expect perfection from anyone but i do expect honesty, fair price, stand behind the work, and safety. Thank you Hi-Tech. Great job! read more

Super service all the way around. From the office to the service bay. We can always get an appointment and with a smile!

We needed a major overhaul of the front end on our 2006 Chevy Silverado with the Duramax diesel. This repair job had been planned in advance with Hi-Tech, along with scheduled maintenance. Be sure to get the "multi-point " inspection - they will spot problems ahead of becoming real problems. Highly recommend Hi-Tech and the new location on 99W South of Solano Street is convenient for parking + the techs like it because of more room to work. read more

There are not enough good things to say. Ive been an auto tech for the better part of 10 years. My truck started leaking oil and smoking on our way to Alaska. We called 30 minutes before they closed and they cleared time to look at it and let us know if they had access to the part it would have been done on the spot. No run around, straight to the point and very heart felt professionalism, and care. Due to the delay they recommend a good hotel, picked up the part an hour away on the way in and had me back on the road before 10am. They also did all this while a had a trailer attached as well. read more

Hi-Tech Automotive is an extremely well run team of knowledgeable automotive professionals. From the time I called to get my Ram 3500's repairs and maintenance scheduled to the work they completed. I live about 2 hours from the shop but would trust anyone else with my truck. The only feedback was their was one item that that wasn't quite right but the team was extremely responsive and helped get the costs covered to quickly repair at shop nearby my house. Nothing major but the team took care of the customer start to finish. Integrity is what you get with this outfit. They'll treat your rig like it's their own. Also, great rates at least 30% less than the dealer without the fear of having your truck held hostage and nickle and dimed. If you know you know! Thanks Hi-Tech Team! read more
