Not sure what people see in this place. Service was alright. Server got the food order wrong for one of our friends but they did make it right. I ordered margarita with no salt but it came out with salt. It was hard to get our servers attention. Food was alright. Had the mesquite steak taco plate. Meat was way overcooked. Very chewy. The side of cheese was sad. It may have been two tablespoons and they set it in a cup next to the hot beans. By the time it got to me it was a clump of melted cheese. Guacamole was not very good. Lacked salt and flavor. If you want true Mexican food with flavor this is not the place! read more

The first time was terrible, the last was still terrible. I ordered 1 taco, the waiter didn't ask if Iwant flour or corn for tortillas, but he did a good thing to do my request. Wgen I got ky order only corn tortillas with meat and my request. I asked specifically the other guy who served the food to add cilantro and cabbage , but I got tons of cheese, no cabbage, lot's of dice tomatoes and the meat was less now. They don't give spicy sauce or depends on the waitress if they know. I don't like this branch and too dark and busy ambience. read more

Update to my posting: This year we went for Father's Day June2023. We love our host/wait Marcus! He was very attentive and served our drink fast! Especially my hot water! Nothing wrong with this place. It's fairly average. Fajitas o had last night not bad but very bland. The flour tortillas don't taste home made more like mission. We have been going here for years and never love it. It's more of nostalgia . If you want Tex mex this place reminds me of the very average non authentic food there As a cantina it's cool. They have a habanero sauce that I like. Diet Coke was on point so that's something. Chips and salsa not bad I saw some reviews that said the chips are stale. I wouldn't say that because they are fine just many places have better chips and salsa. Service can be good to bad. Never been terrible and never been amazing. Another positive is the patio. It was truly a sad day for us yesterday...After being patrons ofNandos since they opened on Val Vista and Baseline restaurant, we will no longer be going back. We have been there at least 150 times and for every family celebration! Yesterday after dealing with the worst service we had EVER had, by Ashley...It got worse. My mother lost her earring at the booth. So, after lunch we were looking for it and picked up the booth seat to find it. WOW! Never would've expected the absolute amount t of fith, gum, trash, toys, hair, old food and a very old hot wheels car was staring us in our faces. After taking a few pics, we found the earring. What a consolation prize.the employees were trying to dismiss the filth, but waaaaay too late. My father asked for a Manager and she came out. She did NOT want to hear about and dismissed my father every time he spoke.i would certai ly hopegoing forward she will receive some training in Customer Service. We have spent good money, all holidays and brought many people to Nando's. Shame on you NANDO'S....It was my father's birthday and you ruined it. We threw all of our food away too. What a waste. Not my favorite.... The food is to Americanized. Reason for 2 stars and not just 1 - Chips were great (hubby likes spicy salsa and they didn't have) and even the rice was surprisingly good but more like rice-a-roni Reason I'll never return or recommend - the extremely dry flautas, guacamole was just smashed avocado with a few tomatoes, and the salsa tasted like watered down tomato paste with spices. Not a fan of this place. The table they placed us at had so much crap underneath the table like they didn't bother to clean it up before they sat us down. Only reason why we went here was because we had a gift card. The salsa and chips they gave were really good. Salsa was super mild which I liked and they gave a lot of chips. My cheese enchilada was super gross! The cheese was extremely hard and hard to bite into. It was my first time here and it was definitely worth the 45 minute wait! If you're in a hurry this probably isn't the place for you. If you're willing to wait for some AMAZING food then this is definitely your place. I don't mind waiting for food but I know a lot of people out there get upset in regards to having to wait for a meal when they're hungry. I went on a Saturday and they were PACKED but definitely for a good reason. I got the Margarita flight with the coconut, prickly pear, and blue curaçao flavors. Those alone made the wait worth it! My table also got the Pizza Blanco and a couple other things. The Pizza honestly blew my mind and had great flavor! Sadly had to take left overs home cause I got filled up on their delicious chips and salsa. The only reason for the minus 1 star is due to our waitress not being very tentative. They were very busy but she only came to our table a couple times to check on us. Next time I'm going to try my best to not go during a busy time but I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! read more

Yummy. I've been looking to find a go-to Mexican place and I think we may have found it. Cute interior with plenty of big tables for families. Chips and salsa were delicious to start. Nandos is a pretty good place to come for Mexican food. The atmosphere is nice and the food is consistent. The bar serves some great drinks, too, and the servers are generally pretty good. read more

David was very welcoming and made the experience a wonderful one. We had the Nando's nachos which we ordered with BOTH chicken and shredded steak. Only suggestion would be to included the refried beans with them. The drinks were fabulous and reasonably priced. And the pork Chile verde meal was absolutely worth coming back for. Would recommend this place for a happy hour or relaxed lunch/dinner. Salsa Tip: if you like a bit more spice, please ask your waiter and they'll bring you the habanero salsa for your chips! read more

Margaritas are good, service was great, food was okay. Would come back if I was in the area again

We went to Nando's at 4:30 in the afternoon on Saturday, & it was jam-packed even at this time! .... Be prepared for it to be very noisy in there, it kind of gave me anxiety with all the loud noise, so I wanted to order a margarita right away to help take the edge off. I was disappointed how weak the margarita was. I never even got buzzed at all off of it, not much tequila apparently. The chips and salsa that were excellent. I ordered the chicken fajitas, it came to the table as it should sizzling! The portion was large, however, several bites of the chicken were chewy, and had to spit it out in a napkin, so that was disappointing. I noticed some of the chicken chunks looked as if they were shredded up by hand, instead of actually sliced with a knife. On a side note, the glass of water they gave me tasted like dish water. 4/20/22 Hubby and I went out for early dinner. Food was awful. The burrito was all tortilla dry small amount of meat, enchilada sauce 2 tablespoons of steak not seasoned at all. This is the kicker they charged us for carbonated water. My husband spent $60. I didn't even finish the food it was fit for a dog. I went and bought another burrito. This place gets busy so be prepared to wait on Fridays and weekends. All the food is always delicious and we've had most things on the menu. Very authentic Arizona style Mexican food. The Hatch green can be very spicy so watch out for that. The service is always good and the cocktails are nice too. My friends and I love their margaritas and the bartenders make a good skinny margarita. The chips and salsa taste fresh and homemade. Highly recommend. read more

We had a large party of 40+ people. Great food, super responsive with a few changes, management really easy to work with for a customized menu. My only criticism is that we should have had 2 to 3 servers for almost 43 people instead of 1. Our guests were growing a little restless. We have been going to Nando's for years and the food is good, I love the Tacos,and the Pollo Rico and my husband goes between the Chile Relleno and Chicken Chimi this is NOT about the food but an upcharge that was a surprise. We ordered our meal and when it was brought to the table I requested some Tomatillo salsa, which the waiter acknowledged and left. (fingers tapping) I ate 1 of my tacos and was halfway thru the 2nd when my husband made eye contact then shortly after he brought it, no acknowledgment of delay or anything. Until that time we never saw him! (should note went just after 11 am and not busy to where we could get "lost") Our bill came and we have a $1.50 side of dressing charge.... WHAT? We asked and he just said yes and shrugged his shoulders. First should be mentioned if there is an extra charge when I asked...Second when you bring it and I'm almost done there shouldn't be any charge. Disappointed in this location. read more

I went back and forth on this rating but the guacamole and pico both having a brown hue to them sent it down to 2 stars. That dry heat margarita though....now that was good. Both of them! ;-) Our party of six was accommodated easily on a Sunday night but the restaurant was busy. Chips and salsa (minimal to no heat at all on the "hot" version) were served promptly. I ordered guacamole and it was served with fried flour tortillas. It had a slight brown hue to it with brown chunks and was slightly runny, and I found a piece of avocado skin in it. I question if it was even made that day. Not being able to decide on which taco, I ordered two plus rice. The rice was good, but the carnitas taco was really disappointing - no cilantro or onion, just pork (quite a bit of fat as well) in a half crispy/half soggy corn tortilla. The ground beef tacos were served up better - the shell was crispy and there was plenty of fresh lettuce and cheese served with it. The pico had more brown avocado, and even some brownish onion and tomato pieces that again left me wondering just when all of this food was prepped. Portions are huge, so downsize if you are not sure how hungry you are! My husband thought his mesquite tacos were good, and my daughter enjoyed her bean burro. All in all, I'd go elsewhere as it appears there were plenty of choices in the area. read more

So let me tell you how this disappointing experience started. We went on Yelp and put our name in for a wait time they advised 15 to 25 minutes. We got to restaurant and they were completely confused about wait list. We waited 45min then left and will never come back to this location.
