Tried Mesquite Fresh today, decent location that was super easy to get to. Ordered steak burrito which was huge! The fajita veggies were beautifully cooked with onions lightly caramelised, pico was fresh, loads of mesquite smoked steak in burrito. It was delicious, felt like I had a food baby FYI Facebook has a deal where you can buy 1 get 1 free when u sign up to their rewards program. That basically makes each burrito $6 and loaded up exactly how you like it, I'm yes!

Here for breakfast ended up getting a burrito bowl which as everybody knows you get twice as much food. Got a bowl with chicken and meat, rice beans, and whatever toppings I liked and they have a nice mesquite sauce which really brings out flavor. It's not really spicy or too spicy. It's just right there in the middle which for me was perfect. The service was awesome. The guy behind the counter make sure he spoke up to make sure we heard him clearly so we could order what we wanted. the cashier was great. She was on point. The ambience on the place is the same as always. All the Mexican music playing in the background and people chatter, but it was early in the morning so it wasn't too out of control. All in all, I really love this place. And I sometimes forget about it, but I need to remember to go back because they have great tacos. Great quesadillas pretty much every time I've been there things have been on point.

This food was so delicious the chicken burrito and steak quesadilla both amazing would highly recommend

Didn't know what to expect when we walked in, but this place will now be a regular for us when we need a quick lunch. It's a chipotle style concept, but much fresher! I got the Big Quesadilla with chicken and it was grilled to a toasty crisp. My husband got the chicken bowl and was delicious as well. They have less ingredients to choose from, but I think that lends to the freshness! Please support this local business!

Customer Service was rude & horrible. Doesn't even deserve the one star. The person helping us had an Airpod in her ear and clearly couldn't hear us ordering, had to repeat myself multiple times while ordering the food. She was rushing to complete our order and nobody was in line behind us. We came around 7pm and they don't close until 10pm. Food was placed very sloppy in the container per the pictures. I loveeeeeeeee Mesquite go almost once a week and just moved closer to this location located on Crismon. I will be taking the 15 minute drive and going back to my regular location, that's how horrible this location was.

Horrible food. Over cooked steak tacos as always and there was a hair in my rice. I'm not surprised . There goes my dinner and money to waste and lastly my appetite gone.

We stopped in real quick to get food for my fiancé but I wanted to try the steak street taco since I hadn't eaten here previously either. The steak was cooked well and had a nice mesquite wood flavor to it that I enjoyed. Will definitely be back when I have more of an appetite!

We've been waiting for Mr Mesquite to open near us! Today we decided to check them out! Upon entering, all the employees were very friendly and upbeat. I was offered a menu to look at by what seemed to be a very nice regional manager. The menu is also above the ordering stations. I got the steak burrito with everything but cheeses. It's huge! What I liked is that it actually stayed to together unlike some other places where the wrap quickly rips and falls apart. The steak was very tender and tasty. It was cooked to medium from what I could tell. Not overdone at all. It's cooked over a charcoal grill! The beans had a nice taste to them and I love they weren't dried out at all. The Spanish rice was tasty as well. I would highly recommend the burrito. My better half got a steak burrito bowl. Same ingredients as listed in the photo, except she got pickled onions as well. She really liked them and that's not something she usually raves about. The price for both meals with no drink was about $21. Not bad at all. I will say, I liked their food way more than Chipotle and will definitely be back.

Authentic Mexican food sounded perfect and I knew good things were in store when I arrived at 11:30am on a Friday and all of inside and outside tables were full. The inside is quaint but has quite a few tables. They also have tables out front in the shade (to call it patio seating may be a stretch, just simple tables and chairs on the exterior of the entrance). You order your food at the counter and I didn't study the menu ahead of time but the ladies taking my order were patient with me. I ordered a shredded beef taco and a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Nothing fancy for my first time as it's hard to golf on a full stomach! I found the only open table and then hit up the salsa bar. They have 4 or 5 different salsas/hot sauces and a few other goodies. I got a small cup of each sauce and all of them were quite good. My food was colorful, flavorful and just the right away to give me some energy without being lethargic. I could go on about a few other nice things but it seems most of East Mesa already knows about this place given the high scores on Yelp from a lot of reviewers. Nothing to prevent me from giving a 5* review at this time. I look forward to trying some more dishes in the future.

I'm posting this review for two reasons - The first being because the manager passed the restaurant phone over to the supposed "owner" after I called within five minutes of getting home to tell them the chips and taco shells tasted like they were fried in old, rancid oil. The manager told me she could offer a credit and when I said I would prefer the refund to my card is when she went to get the "owner". I'm fairly sure I wasn't an asshole to her. I was pretty peeved at this point because we're talking about almost $16 of the $49.11 which was the cost of the food I ordered before tax and tip. I work in the service industry/for tips too so I get it. I'm well aware of the price increase of everything everywhere!!! Before going to Ritos I waited in a line of 10 cars at Sam's Club for gas and gas was $49.65. So there's that. The "owner" also reiterated that a refund would only be given if I brought the food back. I'm sorry, but, I live 15 minutes away from Mesa Riverview. My employer was 30 minutes from the restaurant. I sure as f*ck wasn't going to get my ass back in my car and drive back to Ritos to give them shitty tacos and chips. They told me they would offer a credit for next time for chips and 2 tacos - and I guess that's acceptable but my question is - how are you going to provide that when you don't have my number or an email address for me? And aren't chips typically complimentary at a Mexican food restaurant when you dine in? The manager had the audacity to say that the oil was changed, the chips and tacos are cooked in different vats, the cost of meat has gone up and "everyone is feeling it." That's quite the level of audacity. I'm to the point where I don't give a about your credit and if I want Ritos I'll drive even more out of my way to the Garfield or 7th Street location. I'm more pissed off about the "owner's" attitude than I am about the $2.55 chips I threw in the trash. And the taco shells didn't taste too rancid drowning the inside in salsa. My mother was in her bedroom in the back of the house (I was in the kitchen) and just told me she could hear the owner yelling at me and what a sh*tty way to do business. Keep your credit, I won't be back to your locatiom to dine in OR take food to go. PS - Change your raunchy ass oil. As you said, consumers pay *way too much* to get home with a To Go order to have to throw it away because oil isn't changed frequently enough.
