I moved away for several years and recently moved back and found they had a small location in Mesa on baseline so I thought you know what I'll go see if it's the same cause I was really craving some of their food. I usually order ground beef tacos and the chili Riano, but it was absolutely horrible. Nothing about the experience was good. I took a plate of enchiladas for a friend who can't get out of the house and she ended up throwing them away. They were so bad and greasy. My chili Riano The ground beef that they usually put in there was hard as a rock and orange looking like cold grease. And the pepper I couldn't even cut through it so I ended up throwing most of that away. Honestly, I only ate what I did because I was so hungry. I did ask them to redo the chili Riano, but they refused to do so. I think that's absolutely horrible customer service. I wished that the parents are grandparents hadn't passed away. I'm sure they're rolling over in their graves at the quality of food that their children are serving.

I'll definitely try something else! It was really quiet inside the mall, but I think that's probably normal considering our world today. I just wanted to have a little taste of the tamale to see if I might like the other items, everything looked really fresh inside the service station and my daughter and I shared a quick little bite of a tamale and it was really good! I actually was gonna go back and get a full plate Because I was satisfied, but we ran out of time, at least I'll know where to go next time! They have so many other options like fruits with chili and different yummy goodness like that we did also purchased the Horchata drink, it was light in flavor but good. Definitely recommend!

This place is a regular stop for our family member, so we gave it a shot. The decor is great, it has a really fun, funky vibe that mixes Mexico with the local Arizona / Route 66 vibe. I found it to be really fun. Our wait staff was very friendly as well. We started off with the Guacamole Bowl, because any time I see fresh made guac on a menu, I'm going there first. It was very good, the flavor was very fresh and bold. Since I'm a sucker for a good Relleno, I ordered the Chili Rellenos. The menu says "try them the LGL way" so I figured I'd give it a go. Really great flavor, highly recommend this one. The wife went with her typical "side order Chicken Chimichanga", because she doesn't eat much and doesn't need the rest of the platter. She was very happy with it and enjoyed it as well. Overall this was a great dining experience. I would gladly stop back in next time I'm in town.
