This place is a regular stop for our family member, so we gave it a shot. The decor is great, it has a really fun, funky vibe that mixes Mexico with the local Arizona / Route 66 vibe. I found it to be really fun. Our wait staff was very friendly as well. We started off with the Guacamole Bowl, because any time I see fresh made guac on a menu, I'm going there first. It was very good, the flavor was very fresh and bold. Since I'm a sucker for a good Relleno, I ordered the Chili Rellenos. The menu says "try them the LGL way" so I figured I'd give it a go. Really great flavor, highly recommend this one. The wife went with her typical "side order Chicken Chimichanga", because she doesn't eat much and doesn't need the rest of the platter. She was very happy with it and enjoyed it as well. Overall this was a great dining experience. I would gladly stop back in next time I'm in town.

It's more like their jalapeño cream cheese sauce rather than a traditional queso, so just something to keep in mind if you're expecting the usual cheesy dip. Everything else was hot, fresh, and delicious, and the portions were generous enough that we had plenty of leftovers to take home. It's definitely a little on the pricier side for Mexican food, but the food was good, the service was great, and it's conveniently close to home--which is always a win!
