The food tasted amazing, we ordered the chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken, the chicken tikka masala was very flavorful and the naan tasted very fresh. The place itself might not have looked like much from the outside but what happens inside when the food is made, is very amazing. I was very surprised to see that all of the servers were American teenage girls... Normally I'm one of the only Americans at any of the Indian restaurants that my partner and I frequent, so I was honestly a little nervous when noticing this (my partner is from India and so we're used to eating authentic Indian food served to us by Indian people...). Visited this place and wasn't disappointed. I'm still getting acclimated to ordering Indian cuisine, and I often take recommendations from the restaurant staff. I love biriyani, however, I can't have spicy food right now. It was recommended to me that I get the lamb Korma and it was delicious! Hi the food was good and the staff was friendly and very patient with my triplet toddlers. I do think the owners and staff should be more careful with the what the clean the restroom with. It smelled strongly of bleach and I could see it was just cleaned. Kudos for a very clean bathroom. How ever- toddlers don't really listen and they leaned against the tile wall and bleached their clothes and subsequently my shoes. You have a great thing going and I realize the pandemic has us all being extra careful. I'm just lucky they didn't decide to lick the wall- which sadly they have done. What was supposed to be a pleasant dining experience turned out to be a frustrating and disappointing evening. The lack of service not only affected our enjoyment of the meal but also left us feeling as undervalued individuals. When ordering appetizers, the male waiter suggested trying a new dish, had a runner drop the plate off, didn't explain what it was and never came back. He proceeded to help other tables. The female waitress attempted to take all of our menus before we even ordered our main dish. She had a very sarcastic attitude and was not friendly with our table of color, however served the surrounding tables with a smile a warm heart. I ordered 2 mango lasis, was then told I could only have one to share as there was no more. 5 minutes later, they told the table behind us that they made more for them as I drank out of my styrofoam cup and they enjoyed theirs in a glass. I was charged as if I was given both orders. When paying, my friend told me to ask for a receipt as she forgot to ask for hers. As I was paying I nicely asked for the receipt and she responded "yeah I heard you" in a cold and heartless tone. Come to find out, I was charged for a drink I didn't receive. I am not sure if a party of 5 is considered a large party, but was automatically charged a gratuity of 18%. Did she deserve it? Absolutely not. I hope this feedback prompts Namaste to improve their service standards in the future. As it stands, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on this experience. read more

On a recommendation from our server, we ordered a cauliflower appetizer, two dishes with a spicy profile: a paneer and a chicken. The chicken dish was tempered with a creamy sauce, the perfect go to if you prefer less spicy. The paneer was a straight up spicy dish but very manageable. We also ordered roti , nan and biriyani, roti and nan was dry and hard. We have ordered Nan and roti from other restaurants and they never turn hard and rock like. Biryani was like curry and rice with so much Masala as you could not tell it's really biriyani. I would say these are basic Indian choices if you cannot make it even decent, than all food much be horrible. Came here because of all the great reviews. Came in about 6pm on a week day and the owner greeted my very hospitably. The place was otherwise empty, so I had plenty of time to review the menu. No my friend arrived and we spent a good bit of time considering the various dishes and selected three. All were tasty enough, but I don't understand all the 's !!! Perhaps living in Houston has me jaded? The one dish that stood out was a fried cauliflower dish. I believe the fried cauliflower is prepared the same way with a variety of different sauces on it. The dish we were served and obviously been fried some considerable period of time before I arrived at the restaurant because it was soft and soggy. Given some of the wonderful fresh Gobi Manchurian dishes I've had in and around Houston, I probably won't come back to Namaste. It wasn't bad at all. It wasn't great either. I'm beyond livid right now. The server here just poisoned me. I'm a celiac & 3 times made this clear when ordering. The server then asked me if I wanted naan, and I pointed out I just said I couldn't. She said they had gluten free roti. Ok. She brings out the food and I again ask, "this has no wheat flour, is gluten free"? "Yes, it is gluten free". I've got the last bite of of the first quarter in my mouth when she comes out, "I'm so sorry, it has wheat in it". It's great to finally have a good Indian food restaurant near the woodlands. It's in a strip center but the restaurant itself was very clean inside. I ordered pickup through DoorDash and it was ready on time and no hassle. The employees seemed friendly. I got the assorted appetizers, garlic naan, tikka masala, and korma. The appetizer plate is fried foods that got soggy from the steam on the drive home but I was able to crisp them back up in the air fryer. They had good flavor and a nice spice level. The tikka masala was excellent! The korma was good flavor but a bit watery (probably wouldn't order this again), and the naan was great too (after reheating in the air fryer). The chicken in both entrees was tender and good! I've had Indian food all over the world including London and Chicago and this was great. I am excited to try their other dishes! read more

Pretty average for food and service and hidden charges everywhere! Paneer butter masala was okay, dal makhani had way too much whipping cream and had no taste! We like Namaste Indian cuisine a lot. Out of the 5-6 local Indian restaurants to us, they have great quality food, friendly service, and decent prices. We have tried almost all of the chicken dishes and my favorite is the butter chicken but the others are excellent too. I am very pleased that it comes with a naan bread or rice in the price. My girlfriend has tried all of the vegetarian dishes and is also impressed. They spend a lot of time making quality food and giving you sufficient proteins (paneer, chicken, etc). Many other restaurants skip on this area to save $, but at Namaste Indian cuisine you get your money's worth. The place is clean and staff are friendly. read more

Colorado has a pretty high bar to achieve but I was EXTREMELY impressed by this places offerings. We had the Thai BBQ and the Lamb Tikka Masala. Soooo much flavor and complimentary spices. I was a little surprised the Masala didn't automatically come with basmati rice as I have experienced many times before...But we added the peas pilau which was excellent with both dishes. And the iced tea was delicious as it was not your ordinary Lipton or otherwise bland tea...it was a delicious herbal tea that was great iced. This place is incredible, the owner's recommendations of new specialties were completely on target for both my wife and I. My wife had a cashew and onion variation on butter chicken.
