The owner is super sweet and the salon is beautiful. They are very clean and the staff is great. Kim has been doing my nails and she does an excellent job. I'd give this place no stars, if I could! This is not my usual salon. However, I popped in on Monday 7/8 for a broken nail and polish change because I was in the area. The technician, Annie, explained that she wouldn't be able to change my polish because "your nails need fill!" Okay. No problem. We looked for a color that matched my current polish, and moved forward with the replacing of the broken nail. She began using UV gel and I explained that my nails are crystal power. Apparently, they don't use powder at NailSplash because and I quote, "it's not real crystal, salons lie. They use acrylic and say it's crystal." Okay. No problem. I guess. She began to polish my other nails with the color match as the repair was drying. In my head I thought, "that's nice of her to "freshen-up" my other nails." When we were all set I asked for the amount owed in which she replied "$15"...needless to say, I was dumbfounded. I repeated (trying not to sound loud and abrasive), "$15 for a repair?!" Annie then tried to explain that she also changed my nail polish color along with the repair. Excuse me?!? Mind you, the color is EXACTLY what I already had! Secondly, she initially told me she wouldn't be able to "change my color" because I needed a fill-in! I was burning inside!!!! Today is Saturday, 7/13 and my $15 nail is broken. Again. The owner of the salon or whoever was in charge was super rude -- yelling "appointment?!" the moment I walked in the door before even saying hello. Then they charged me the price of a 2nd (?¿) pedicure when it was my first time there... I don't even know. I wouldn't recommend/return. So my sister brought me here for my birthday stating that this place does a great job with gel manicure and i figured why not (especially because there's a check in offer for 20% any salon service). My sister wanted to get all fancy and got a "special" nail done ($5 each) on each of her hand (as you can see in the picture) and i think they did an amazing job with the marble. Even with my nail, they took good care of my nails and it lasted almost a whole month. I love the extra time they took to make sure it was thick enough that you couldn't see my nails but thin enough that it was nice and light. I came back again this past month because i wanted to get my nails done before i went to my trip in europe and they once again did a great job (even treated my mom out to get a pedicure). Although this place without the discount is on the higher side with prices, i think it's worth it, because you can become a member and get additional discounts done, and they take to do your nails so it doesn't come out bad. It's been a couple weeks since I've gotten my nails done and I can now say that they really do a great job here. I came when they were pretty busy and they offered their massage chairs (the ones usually for pedicures) for me and my sister to relax at. The place is very clean, doesn't smell like chemicals at all and asthetically pleasing too! My technician Lia was able to do the design I wanted based off of just a picture and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed. Highly recommend for anyone in the area. read more

I tried this salon for the first time 2 weeks ago and got a gel mani and pedi. I wanted to wait to write my review so that I could comment on how my mani held up. 2 weeks later it's still beautiful. The paint hasn't chipped and the color is still bright. The salon is very clean and that's obvious from the moment you walk in. It's nicely decorated and it was pretty busy for a Thursday morning which is always a good sign. There were a lot of colors to choose from and a menu of spa pedicure options. I got the standard pedi and it was nice and relaxing. The paint is still pretty and hasn't chipped! For my gel mani I asked for a design on two of my nails. The design wasn't perfect, but it was still very pretty. The actual manicure was nice and the nail technician did a great job filing my nails exactly how I wanted them and painting pretty much perfectly. The gel wasn't applied too thick either. The only thing I wish they had was champagne! This salon has that relaxing and slightly upscale feel so I think that would really make it stand out. read more

Typically when I go to a salon to get my nails done and I want a design, there's usually a fuss as if I'm inconveniencing them with my request. At nailsplash 2, they were so accommodating, and the manicurist, Evelyn absolutely delivered the exact design I wanted from the photo I showed her! My gel manicure was 35.00 with 5-7.00 per nail for a design. Simple designs are 5.00 per nail, and more complex ones like what I had was 7.00 per nail. Evelyn was also very meticulous with painting my nails and making sure the nail beds were smooth! I'm absolutely visiting again! Additionally, they're also open 7 days a week, according to the owner! LOVED my experience at Nailsplash today! Ever since COVID, I never visited a nail salon because I did not know what to expect. I wanted to get my nails and pedicure done for my sister's wedding so I visited here -- thank God, this place is probably the cleanest, most sanitized, and safe place to be at this time!! There were sneeze shields and hand sanitizers EVERYWHERE and even the door was automatic so I didn't have to touch anything. Plus, the technicians are super professional and nice. They took good care of me from the moment I entered the salon till I left the building. I was impressed with how clean and bright this nail salon is. It looks sparkling clean and appears to be following the covid 19 protocols. The staff is polite, helpful and friendly. I really wanted to make this my new place. However the gel manicure itself was a bit spotty. The technician was a bit rough on my cuticles with the drill and the Emory boards. She also put glue on a few of my nails which I have not seen done with gels before that day. It has now been a few days since the service was performed. So far three nails are chipped, polish has come off and the nails are catching on fabric. Again this has never happened to me right after a gel fill-in. It usually lasts about three weeks. I was considering trying another technician until the polish started to chip. I am disappointed and now have to go to another nail salon for repairs. Disappointed. read more

I've never given a bad review before ( I try to use Yelp to talk about businesses that go above and beyond) but I guess there's a first time for everything. This was my second time here and the first time was uneventful (as it should be). This time however was negative and bizarre. I told the manicurist that I didn't like the angles of the shape while she was working on them and explained they looked uneven and overall "weird". The manicurist told me not to worry about it and that the angle I was looking at them from made them look weird. She never tried to fix them . When she finished and I got a good look, I noticed that not only was the shape funny looking but these bad boys were thick af. My nails look so amateur AND they were $100. I wasn't combative at any point but generally annoyed. I next go to get a pedicure with someone else and that service was perfectly fine. Too bad the lady who did my hands came over while my toes were being painted and asked if I wanted to pay then since they were getting ready to close. I asked if she had a portable credit card reader and she said no. I was meant to stand up in the middle of my service and go pay... weird. I just stared at her unsure of how to respond and she said "fine, pay when you're done". I go pay at the register and decide I'm not tipping her after my shoddy nails and being rushed out the door (my appointment was at 3:30 so it's not like I was a late walk-in). I've literally never decided to not tip someone before but this experience was that negative. I pay my bill and tip the other lady and start walking out when the manicurist asks me what happened to her tip! I've never ever not tipped anyone before but, who does that? I explain again that I didn't like the work she did, she tries explaining again why it looks that way saying it will look better after a fill-in. Look, I've gotten nails before and have never had them turn out this way or had such strange service. The whole experience makes me angry and as soon as I'm back from vacation I'm going elsewhere to get these fixed. read more

My experience at Nailsplash 2 today was just one word- disappointing. I called right at 9 AM to make an appointment for a spa pedicure and gel manicure. The front desk person indicated they had an opening at 9:30 AM which was amazing! When I arrived, the person at the front desk was cordial and greeted me with a warm smile which was great! The spa pedicure was decent and Mariam did a good job with applying the nail polish. 3 stars for the greeting and spa pedicure. It all went wrong when Sera did my gel manicure. She rushed through the entire process and did not pay attention to the way she did my nails. It seems like she had another appointment coming in and I'm not sure why she was assigned to do my nails if she did not have the time. This is just a sign of terrible management. She did not file my nails properly and actually left old gel polish on a few of my nails. She was so harsh during the filing that she was hurting a few of my fingers. Towards the end, I noticed a black stain on one of my polished nails (the color is light pink and you can visibly see the stain) and asked her to fix the issue. She then proceeded to blame my nail bed and said she did not see the stain before applying the gel nail polish. After asking her to fix the issue twice, she reluctantly agreed but muttered a few words under her breath. At this point, I just quickly grabbed my belongings and told her I would go to another salon to fix the issue since she did not appear to want to do it. When I got up, she then continued to say she would fix it but at this point, I was already disappointed with how she did my nails and response to fixing the issue with the stain. The owner asked to fix the issue when I voiced my concerns but again I already felt terrible at the end of the visit. I paid $90 for the spa pedicure and gel manicure and tipped the full 20%. I will not be returning to this nail salon as it speaks volumes how a nail salon manages their time and treats their first time customers. read more

All of the employees are very sweet over the phone and in person. The salon has a very calm, friendly, and relaxing atmosphere. This last time I went in for a manicure with regular polish. I came here today to get a manicure and pedicure...and I was not expecting to be as pleased as I was when I came out! I schedule an appointment at 4, but when I came early they immediately accommodated me which was something I really appreciated. I asked for the spa pedicure and a gel manicure and my nails came out great! With the spa pedicure they let you choose add ons and different treatments so I opted for the green tea pedicure which was AMAZING. My pedicurist Veronica took great care of me. The entire experience was extremely relaxing and with all of the exfoliation and massages it took around an hour (give or take) for the entire pedicure. My manicurist was Kim and she did an awesome job on my gel manicure. My nails look superb and they aren't thick which is something I have complained about before after a gel manicure. I thought the salon was extremely clean and professional which was also a huge bonus for me. I went in a Thursday and they started getting very busy around 5 pm, so I would definitely recommend making an appointment or coming here earlier. The only downside is that I forgot to use the yelp check in to get 20% off! Overall I was extremely pleased with how my nails and toes came out and I am very happy that I decided to try out this nail salon. I will definitely be coming here again! read more
