I was one of those people who went from salon to salon not having "a person" for so many reasons: didnt speak to me, have conversation with others in different languages, nails were too thin or thick, took too long, broke easily ect. I walked into Nails Plus expecting the same. I was lucky enough to get Kris. Shes amazing! Shes talented and consistent. My nails are always perfect. They never crack or chip. Shes is very fun and enertaining, I am ususally laughing the entire time and it feels like we have been friends for a long time. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. All of the people working there are very friendly and nice. Im sure they all would be great. Everyone seems happy. Kris is perfection though. Make sure you call ahead, she is usually booked. I had made an appointment for 2:30pm and when they hesitated on a 2:45pm I suggested 3:00pm so that they wouldnt be rushed. They said 2:45 was fine. Literally got my nails done at 3:30pm and it's now 6:20 pm. I had a pedicure done with gel nails. How am I supposed to feel when my pinky toe color came off like nothing less than 3 hrs after this pedicure. I spent 100 dollars on my toes and nails for them to chip the very next day. My nails are horrible and even my toes chipped. It's ridiculous and I even tipped thinking they did a good job. One time in my life a friend forced me to go to a nail salon for a French manicure. Other than that 48 years have gone by and I've never done anything with my fingernails other than file them. A recent visit with a friend prompted me to ask about her nails and she told me about having them "dipped." It sounded interesting and I was familiar with the Nails Plus location because they are in the entrance to my dentist's parking lot so I called and made an appointment. Having no idea how this worked I arrived and Ted helped me look at the optional colors (so MANY choices!!!) and I chose a neutral slightly shimmery light pink. He was clearly professional moving through the process with ease and skill. We had a lovely conversation about his family and his 27 years in the nail business and I am completely thrilled with the result. They look light and pretty! I live in Phoenix in the winter and am here occasionally throughout the year but I can guarantee that I'll be back every time to have Ted make my nails attractive again. As a reference point, I did not have my nails made longer and the price was only $35 which I thought was completely reasonable.Highly recommended! read more

Was our first visit here and This place is modern and clean. A little pricey but Chloe did a fantastic job with coconut pedi and spa manicure for my daughter And she even jumped in and repainted my nails when my manicurist had left the room snd polish she used was old and never dried even after 20 minutes. I would recommend this shop just watch that they actually give u the massage time listed on ur service. I think we were shorted, they didnt use a timer. From Katie to Stacey, Wendy, and more! Cloe' and Jolie are just sweethearts and always give a great pedicure. I had gone next door to this place for a couple of years and the guy had me convinced I was to hard on my nails and everything wrong with my nails was my fault. First visit to this nail salon today. After my feet were in the water, I was told that the $23 basic pedicure did not include polish, there would be an extra $5 charge. Technician did okay, not great, messed my polish up twice & had to redo. Would not recommend, too many other places close to this one with better service & cheaper prices. read more

0They're very nice here but I'm very picky about my nails and so far, they've done ok. The first time, they were too thick and the nail polish wasn't evenly applied. The second time was better except the difference in length for some of my nails. This third time, they're a bit misshapen and the polish isn't covering the entire nail to the cuticle so they look slightly grown out already. Also realized last time that they don't use a clear first coat for the gel polish and some places do. Also have had little nicks in the polish every time from not being told to wash my hands between the filing and polishing. I'm going back again because they're so close to me and I'm seriously super insanely picky and notice things others don't. I'll just have to be a bit of a pain and let them know about anything that bothers me before I leave the building. read more

I go here often and most of the time, I've been disappointed by something. Usually it's the way they treat me, sometimes it's the poor work they do. They never have cut my toe nails short enough and I've asked them every time. Any issue I've had with my full sets, they usually blame me. "My fingers are crooked, what I see is different from what they see, I didn't put my finger in the UV light, etc...." I am picky, not going to lie, but when you're paying upwards of $45-$60 every time you're there and tipping 50%, you expect to walk out with nails you love that you don't need to fix when you get home. I have always had to come home and refile my nails into the shape I want because they refuse to listen to me when I say something. I've even had 2 people walk away and have someone else take over simply for asking them to file my nails a certain way. It's just not professional at all and I'm not rude to anyone, I ask very nicely anytime I see something off but they all get frustrated. Oh also, something I noticed since the beginning, they don't use a base coat for the gel polish so it doesn't last as long as it should and they're always trying to upsell people, almost every customer that walks in. There's a few women there that are very nice but I don't think I'm going back after this last time. I've been there twice in 2 weeks, paid $250 the first time and 3 nails broke within a week, the first one only days after. A fresh full set should not break so easily. When I went to get them fixed, I was charged full price and he tried to upsell me again, no consideration to the fact that I was there for 4 repairs and needed a fill so they'd be even again. Plus, the paints already chipped and one finger is missing a whole chunk of the top layer of polish. I was there 2 days ago. So, 2 weeks and over $300 later, I'm left with chipped gel polish and nails I need to file to even out. I even filed them at the nail place because the guy got frustrated with me for asking him to file them but he was shaking his legs and getting up and down, kind of rushing me so I couldn't even file my own nails without being mistreated in some way. They had to redo the polish on my thumbs too, blaming me by saying I must've forgotten to put them in the UV light but I didn't. The polish looked like it was falling off my thumbs, I don't see how a light has anything to do with that. Anyways, I'm done ranting. The only reason there's 2 stars is the few women in there that are really nice and because they always take care of my daughter. read more

This is an excellent nail salon. They have been open almost two months and the space is clean and modern. They have so many dipping powder shades! Stacy was my nail tech and my mother in law has been to Wendy. Stacy was prompt and paid close attention to her work - The dipping powder was not laid on too thick and she didn't hurt my nails when she buffed them. So Katy and Wendy are no longer there. I have been going there for 3 years and they were great! They have new owners that they did not tell me on the phone. Peter took my call -AKA Peter Pan, lied to me. I was told they were both on vacation, at the same time. Weird but hey- were in a pandemic and life is stranger then normal. Soooo a lady Ivy did my nails, a fill and repair. Never met her before. She never really looked at me and was always talking to the other employees in a language I did not understand. It was uncomfortable. They kept pushing me for a pedi ( and to buy a $10 face mask )that I had not intended. I was there anyway so said i would do the pedi too. I picked out a 35 dollar pedi from their menu. Peter tired to sell me on an extra $15 gel for my toes. Right?- no way. I found him to be a bit pushy to say the least. 2 different people worked on my pedi and it took FOREVER. I had to tell the second person to speed up, I had to go to work. Then when i went to pay, it was $80 bucks PLUS tip for 3 people. I WAS PISSED. They tried to over charge me on the pedi ....and the fill/and repair was over 40 bucks??? Wowzers i say. I paid the CORRECTED amount and left. I will not go back. Too bad, i really liked the salon before. I felt ripped off, and the whole place just wants to up sell you. I do not recomend. read more
