After two nail salon fails elsewhere I decided to go back to nails on nails since it had been awhile and I had good service there before. I went as a walk in and got in a chair right away. It was a Friday afternoon, very very busy, so under the circumstances I was grateful to be seen. The young lady they had assigned to me didn't look too thrilled, but went to work right away. No introduction or "welcome, have a seat, what's your name?" Nothing just handed me the color samples and turned the water on my feet, (which was cold by the way) She added hot water, as I had to kindly ask her to please make it warm. I picked the "luxury" package, sadly this experience was far from. As she filed, nipped, and scrubbed she did so in a very rushed and rough way, so much so she ended up cutting my toe and making it bleed. She put cotton on the cut and proceeded with the service. Through the pain I still allowed her to continue because by this time it was already confirmed that this visit or service was not going to be at all what I expected. As we came to drying the gel polish, my tech left me unattended and the light was resting on my foot making it feel uncomfortably warm, even hot. I gently moved the machine to its correct position, to avoid another painful moment. The paraffin uncomfortably warm (hot) and the "massage" was mediocre at best. I hate the fact that I have to write this review, but when you pay good money and everything is expensive at this point, you expect more. More professionalism, more pride, more time, and definitely more care in your business and its customers. Sadly, for me this is another nail salon fail :( Although my toenails were painted nicely and the soles of my feet semi softened they still didn't feel or look like they got the "lux" treatment (did not clean under nails, cut potential ingrown, etc.) Unfortunately, I won't be visiting again. Not to say that there may be better, if not greater nail techs there. I just didn't get that one, this time. I'm just not willing to gamble again with my time, money, or feet. read more

I normally don't leave reviews but I think it's time considering it's not the first time I leave there not happy about the service I received. I've been coming here for a while now hoping that it'll get better but no luck. I literally went yesterday afternoon and the chrome on the tip of my nails is already coming off keep in mind I pay $10 extra for that. It's the second time I come back to back and get the same nail tech and she must have a preference in nail shape because it doesn't matter what shape you want she does what she wants, on top of that both times I went home with sore fingers because she files in to my nail bed, like literally files my skin. This place deserves no stars. Trust the reviews that say don't come here! Was looking forward to a nice spa day with my mom and grandmother and got a horrible experience. My mom was done in less than 15 minutes, offered no menu of services, they made her bleed and her polish was completely smudged. I talked to the manager who gave a $4 discount for making her bleed, bad service and not even a proper color service? We will not be back for sure! I had to ask them to get another tech to fix her toe color because they didn't even offered to fix it. It was BAD. Of course made sure we got another tech and the lady who worked on my mom blamed it on her. We go to get pedicures all the time and it's never happened. We are nice and tip well and are thankful for service staff but here was nothing of service. Just attitude and wanted to get us out of the chairs to get more customers in. They took advantage of my grandma because she is older and can't hear well and they didn't explain what they were doing so she ended up with an up charge of about $30 more than she planned. I had to speak with the manager to get a discount and once again got $2 off, for abusing the elderly? Worst place ever. I hope you shut down soon. If I knew the city council I would call them now to get this placed checked out. read more

I went in to get my nails done here for the first time, and I was expecting good service and hospitality, however i was met with hostility and attitude. I wanted to get an acrylic set done, but I didn't like how one of my nails was looking , so i told the guy who was doing my nails if we could fix them. He seemed upset I was speaking up in the first place but still tried to help me. It was then i realized we miscommunicated because the nails were not looking like how I wanted. So then i called my mother over to see if she could tell me if the nails were looking different than the picture i provided for reference. The man doing my nails immediately got defensive and told me i made a mistake and that i told him i was ok with it. I wasn't, he knew that. He then proceeded to become really aggressive and give us attitude without hearing us out. I didn't feel safe nor welcomed in that salon any longer. I honestly didn't really feel comfortable paying for my nails either with the terrible service I was receiving, but i still paid and tipped him even though he was being really rude. As a worker in customer service, you need to learn respect and hospitality when working with clients who are willing to pay large sums of money for a service, which is what I feel he needs to work on. I didn't catch his name but he's one of the only guys working there so just watch out. Other than that, the nails were also ok. *** update Never going back to this place. The toe that she stabbed is hurting so bad. She bruised it. My right large toe hurts to the touch. Nail was cut in a form that is jabbing my skin. I now have an appt with the podiatrist to have them cut my nail and make sure it's not infected.... all I can say if F U to this place and the sloppy lady who did my feet*** I am only giving this place 2 stars because Kathy who did my manicure. She did such a great job cleaning my cuticles, and my polish was on point. The pedicure was another thing. I do not correct. I gave this place a try bc I drive by it everyday. Let's start with the pros: you can almost always get a walk-in appointment here at any time, given that they are fully staffed at all times. You get a 10% discount for paying in cash. Unfortunately, the quality of your nail job is going to vary drastically, from "ok, that is as expected" to "horrible." I just get a simple gel mani and a regular pedi, it shouldn't be too complicated. I've been stabbed by instruments to the point I was bleeding, I also have had them take off my gel so aggressively (not using any acetone, just straight drill) that it damaged my nail bed and physically hurt. And I've either had rude nail techs who are constantly telling me to upsell, or people who barely acknowledge I'm there. It's never been a relaxing experience; they always want me in and out as fast as possible. It's also sort of dirty. It looks clean at first, but when you look closer, the massage chairs are pretty filthy. Finally, there's not a lot of variety in nail color and I think the polishes they use are cheap because the gel manicures don't last very long. There's a spot across the street, Joy Nail, that I loved and went to forever. I stopped going because it was hard to coordinate schedules (they're always busy and barely have time for walk-ins), but after the past few visits with Nails on Nails, I decided to go back to Joy Nail. And the difference was astounding -- they're so nice, they want you to relax, they have better colors, and they have never physically hurt my or caused bleeding. So, I'll be going there from now on -- I'm done with Nails on Nails. read more

And sadly that was my experience as well, I am not going to mention the technician because I don't think it was her intentionally but maybe the vibe of the salon. I was excited to try this place because it's like 5 min from my house. I walked in and right away was helped which was a plus for a pedicure. I wanted a regular pedicure because I hike long distances regularly and callous removal isn't great for my feet. She was bummed I didn't want the premium which was $45 and I opted for the regular and she suggested adding paraffin mask and I agreed.During I was asked if I wanted gel, I declined then I was offered a 10 min massage I declined and then I was offered eyebrow wax which I declined. The whole service was probably 20 minutes start to finish, my nails weren't even dry before my stuff was given to me and my shoes were put on. It's maybe an hour after my service I noticed there is nail polish on my skin and the paint is puffing up like it'll peel off if I even wet them. A little disappointed with the quality. read more

I'm not the type to write reviews but this one I had to. I've been a loyal customer for 4 years and counting. Not once have I been late to my appointments and I always call a week prior to make them. I'm there every 2 weeks, sometimes every 3 weeks. Don't get me wrong I like the way they do my nails. But the disrespect I had from them 2 weeks ago when I went was unacceptable. My appt was on Saturday , I called Monday to make an appt at 10:00 since after leaving there I had another appt at 11:30. I got there at 9:50. I walk in to both my nail techs and some other employees sitting waiting looking mad. The second I walk in they're like you're late. I'm like I still had 10 mins. They said no we had you down at 9. I said no I made my appt at 10. And we went back and forth. Might I add this whole back and forth that was happening was in front of everyone at the nail salon. And I was the one getting yelled at and them telling me I said 9. If you can't understand proper English you shouldn't be answering the phone. Not the way to treat your loyal customer. As soon as I sat down I didn't want to be there but I had an event happening and needed to get them done. As soon as I'm done my toe lady has the nerve to tell me that I've gained weight ( I suffer from pcos and it's not easy for me to lose weight).
