I chose this place based off the Yelp reviews and I'm so glad I did! I went in yesterday and got a deluxe pedi and gel mani. The pedi included mask, scrub, paraffin wax-it was really nice! I'm pleased with how my toes look. Then I did a gel mani with design on a couple nails. It looks so good! I had Phea, who was so sweet to me. Everyone was very friendly there, they had lots of colors to pick from, and I will definitely be back!! read more

I think I have found my new nail salon! I've been looking for a new place for about a month. This place had a lot of great reviews on Yelp so I decided to trust my fellow Yelpers and check it out. I am happy that I made an appointment in advance because this place is super busy. They turned away a few walk-ins while I was there. Alvin did my SNS nails and, let me tell you, he is super detail oriented. You can tell that he is very proud of his work and wants to make sure your nails are perfect. At first I thought boy he is slow but then I realized he is really just very conscientious. Trust me: it's worth the time that he takes. My nails turned out beautiful! Bonus: they are open on Sundays! I will be back this weekend to get my pedicure. Prices are in line with other salons in the area. The establishment is bright and clean. I also spoke with a woman named Jenny who works there. I'm not sure if she's one of the owners but she was very pleasant and professional. read more

Lived in the Huntersville/Cornelius area for over 13 years. I was tired of going to nail places where I felt like I wasn't getting the attention I need. Most places try to finish your nails as quick as they can and push you out the door. Since I've been coming here I've gotten to know many of the nail techs, learn about their lives, and most importantly I don't feel like I'm being rushed in and out. They really take care of you here and Jenny makes sure of that! read more

UPDATE: The usual excellent service and friendly staff. I liked seeing the foot basins being thoroughly scrubbed by a special worker between clients. I hope they keep up the good work! Great experience, even as a walk-in during the week before Easter! I like that they have more staffing than the previous owner, and everyone was very friendly. There wasn't any formal, awkward atmosphere that I've noticed at other salons, just a clean place and a good deluxe pedicure. My brother , mom & I attempted to get our feet done today as we were in town visiting my brother who works at Davidson college. As soon as we walked in we were turned away and told that they don't do walk ins and it was a holiday weekend , mean while it says walk ins welcome on the sign in front of the door. Keep in mind this was a week before a holiday . There where several nail techs just siting there. I would have to agree with the previous post this place does not want to want to deal with people of color. Two people walked in before us were immediately seated & they did not ask them if they were there for an appointment. I will not recommend this place to anyone . read more

Finally a good nail salon! Nina was courteous and did quality work. Plenty of colors to choose from. I was offered water, soda or wine before they started. The salon is comfortable and clean. I moved to NC 5 months ago it took this long to find good work at a decent price. Very happy to have found this place. read more

We booked 2 appointments and were there on time. After 15 minutes they put us in chairs in warm water. After 1/2 hour my friend was helped but I was still sitting. I asked when someone was going to help me and she said as soon as someone is finished. I'm sorry but when you take appointments you should have scheduled people to work on us. I left so I don't know how the nails would have been. I'll go back to Bellagio where they always are on time for appointments. read more

I used to come here all the time when it was previously owned by a different lady and I always had superb service. Today I came here with a friend to catch up and relax and get a full set. I was not once offered any sort of beverage. The technician started my nails, she cut one of my cuticles and then applied the nails, shortly after I complained about a burning sensation and it was completely disregarded. A few moments later the burning increased and she mumbled something to her boss who became very defensive and stated her products were top of the line and it was clearly my skin. I proceed to tell this rude lady that I have had acrylics on and off since I was 15. I am now 34 and I had never experienced this nor was I questioning her products. She suggested I just go home and take an Advil, seriously a damn Advil!! She then stated we'll just take them off, I don't care. I found her to be abrasive and clearly unprofessional. I will never return here and I would suggest others find a different location. This is the worse experience I have ever received at a nail salon! I have a very close friend of mine that is also a nail technician and she said this was the most absurd thing she had ever heard from a salon owner!! Don't go here unless you want pain and an attitude! read more

Made an appointment here for 12:30 for a full set, I'm in a time crunch most days due to work so I had to be done by 2:15, giving plenty of time for my set. I get there and end up waiting 30 minutes then she says she won't be able to do it in time. They did an ok job, but not stellar. I had Phea. She didn't give any kind of decent massage- just put the lotion on, rubbed it in, and wiped it off. Also, my nails are shaped funny, and she has a lot of trouble applying polish. She painted the nail with gel polish over and over but only at the tip. When all was dried, the base of my nail is very light and the tip is thick and dark. It looks funny. I've read that it should take no more than three swipes of polish to properly do it! And the layers should be thin and even. The tech next to her gave a great polish, so I may ask for Khemery next time. read more

Came here for the first time today with my two girls. It was the end of the day and they were extremely busy so it was a bit of a wait but Jenny was extremely sweet and did her best to make sure that we were relaxed and taken care of. We were a bit hungry so Jenny suggested that we have pizza delivered from next door and she was kind enough to provide us with plates and drinks! Went to this place because it had so many good reviews but left this place VERY disappointed. The lady who did my nails was not very gentle using that little manicure machine. I let her know that she hurt me a couple of times but she kept doing the same thing. Also, while buffing my nails she hurt me again and left one of my cuticles bleeding. She also picked into my nails with her own nails.... Then I did not like the shape and let her know but she barely did anything to fix it. She did not put any cuticle oil or any other creams on my hands that usually come with a manicure. I also had acrylic powder on my nails previously, she did not remove it all the way... so now my nails are uneven, looking thicker on one side and skinnier on the other. And just the work overall is not of a good quality at all! The shape is different on each nail and looks all sloppy! I hate leaving a review like this but this experience really left me very disappointed... read more
