Michelle gave me a Golden Mystique Pedicure while Anne simultaneously gave me a Golden Mystique Manicure. Both were kind, attentive, and thorough. The music and ambiance is calming with TVs muted and showing various cooking channels including travel and Food Network compilations. This was my first visit, but this spot is clearly loved by the community. Other clients were familiar with the technicians, greeting them by name. Multiple people said hello and goodbye to Anne as they came through, and someone even hugged Michelle before they left. Within two days of my pedicure, both of my big toes were extremely painful and throbbing around the nail/cuticle area where the cuticles had been deeply removed. Both developed pus and signs of bacterial infection. I've had pedicures elsewhere and have never experienced anything like this before. I'll spare everyone a photo, but I ended up having to soak my feet in Epsom salt and use antiseptic cream until they improved after 4 days. Unfortunately, this really affected the first half of my walking-heavy trip. I've previously gotten acrylic tips on my hands here and thought they looked good, so I'm disappointed to leave this review. The staff were kind and the salon experience itself was pleasant, but what happened afterward was enough that I won't be getting another pedicure for a long time and don't see myself returning to this studio.

So we stopped by the first nail place we saw to see if they could do 4 pedicures. Keep in mind it's a holiday weekend and nail salons are booming with business. Well not this one. I've taken my daughters and their friends several times for kiddie manicures, but the biggest example of their kindness I can give is when a mother and her twin tweens, who had a mental disability. They had obviously been there before - the staff greeted them like royalty, bragged on them to other customers, did a little twirl with the girl in the middle of the room, and played a silly trick on them by swapping their drinks.
