I recently visited Lavender Nails for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The salon is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and in a great location. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming from the moment you walk in. There was a small misunderstanding about the nail design I was requesting, but Lee quickly fixed it and made sure everything turned out exactly the way I wanted. I was especially impressed with how the owner handled the situation. They didn't try to charge me extra for the misunderstanding and were genuinely focused on making things right and making sure I was happy with the final result. That level of customer service really stood out to me. Everyone was friendly, professional, and attentive, and my nails turned out beautiful. Called ahead. Gentleman named Jhon that answered prompt answered every question on point. Arriving made sure I was aware of colors, beverages, ect. Walked around making sure things were in line. The atmosphere. Was on theme, colorful and by theme executed. Designed very well. Simple, uncomplicated and relaxing. Definitely a returning spot. Not like Cosmo. used to go every 2 months would have men and women do a basic mani and pedi. always friendly! i finally set and appointment and selected Sam a man and once i got to my appointment a lady lee came over to me she was very nice by asked about my original person and was told Sam won't do Mens Mani/Pedis (illegal to refuse). Once I was told that I was very uncomfortable I let Lee just do the Pedi and it was fine except she cut my nails soaked in hot water got some free Champagne and my nails clipped. she do a massage on my legs didn't file the top of my nails I don't like shiny. was not good a experience I paid and left I felt bad not leaving a tip but why should i have to ask to buff and feel uncomfortable because they allow discrimination against a man. I am not made at the women doing my nails but to blatenly say we allow our men choose who's they do is wrong. Like I said once they mentioned we allow our men to discriminate made it very uncomfortable. it's bad enough a man getting something like this done but to feel uncomfortable is just wrong. I am a VP for Nordstrom company here in Dallas and I would like to share my experience to the rest of the people around the metroplex on this Lavender Nail Salon @ 350 W. FM 544 Ste 120 Murphy Texas. I have referred lots of my employees, friends and including my family to get their nails done here with the previous owner. But this time myself, my 8 years old daughter and my employees are very disappointed with the new owner. All of my employees coming back to me and complaints on how the guys keep coming over asking how their nails are and keep watching over my nail tech shoulder. How in the hell you ask my 8 years old about her nails. She is only 8 years old for God shake! You should be more concerning on your employees and the customer. I see that is VERY UNCOMFORTABLE for me and so DISRESPECTFUL to my nail tech! If myself or my employees have problem with their nails, they will let you know!! ALL OF THE NAIL TECH are super nice and helpful with the previous owner but now something doesn't seem right. It seems like these guys are controlling the workers like they are being in prostitution, WHY?? I personally will have someone look into this issue. The store looks great but DON'T LET THE LOOKS FOOL YA'LL!!! But the time being, myself and my employees will take our contract elsewhere.
