I walk in and she has me sit in this uncomfortable chair and put my feet in one of those foot bath things with massagers in them you can buy on Amazon (I have one at my house) and then has me prop my feet up on this wobbly wooden black table while she paints them. Her UV light doesn't work so she uses a handheld one that is one single little UV light so she has to hold it over each individual toe one at a time to cure them. And she painted my toes and then had me soak and did a foot scrub? I feel like this could have messed up the polish she just did. It was hot in there. Oh and she was in her pajamas and there were random men doing construction in her living room while I was there. And her own painted nails looked awful so I didn't think mine would look any better if I let her try. And I don't know whether the tools she used on me were even sanitized or not. It was all so weird and I was so uncomfortable that I left as soon as I could. Do not go here unless you want an unprofessional and uncomfortable experience in someone's rundown apartment. 0/10.

I am ridiculously picky and was really frustrated by all of the 'pump and dump' nail salons out there. I may have just made up that term but most places do a super half-assed job in express mode. Well, I work with my hands and whatever I pay for a manicure...it needs to last. I was ecstatic to connect with Sing. Her level of detail was/is unparalleled. At the time I was only tending to my nails very sporadically. When I called to schedule an appointment I learned that she had opened her own place in Spring Valley. It's a farther drive for me but 100% worth it. Since finding Sing I will not go to any other studio regardless of price or convenience of location. In the last few years I have also become equally comfortable with Marie. These two ladies are 100% legit with their craft. Schedule an appointment.

I'm a regular here and recently had a unique situation that was ultimately fixed…read more I came in with long natural nails, but one (my pointer finger) had broken. Lina had a great solution and did an amazing job matching it with an acrylic extension--you can't even tell in the photo. That said, if you're in a similar situation, I'd recommend asking for Gel-X instead of acrylic. The acrylic ended up feeling loose and didn't hold well, so I had to come back before leaving for a trip. To their credit, Sunny Nails squeezed me in the very next day. Another technician quickly assessed the issue, removed the acrylic, and replaced it with Gel-X (a full, strong nail--not just a tip). The result was flawless--she shaped it beautifully, and I was able to enjoy my trip with perfect nails. The only downside was the experience during the fix. The technician seemed frustrated, didn't respond to my thank you, and abruptly turned off the blue light and walked away without acknowledgment. It felt a bit uncomfortable--especially since I had already paid extra for the initial service and had to come back. Overall, they made it right, and I appreciate the quality of the final result--just wish the customer experience during the correction matched it.
