Multiple technicians were working on me at the same time in a chaotic and disorganized way, which made the whole experience stressful rather than relaxing. Hygiene standards were extremely poor -- the tools and overall cleanliness were far below acceptable standards, which is very concerning in a salon environment. The quality of the pedicure was disappointing. The work looks messy and rushed, and I am honestly embarrassed by how my toenails turned out. I expected much better. Well worth it, especially considering how much everyone charges nowadays. Cassandra was very friendly, paid attention to detail, and made sure everything was to my liking all throughout the process. You can tell she really cares about her job. She made sure I liked the shape of my french tips and even removed the first application/test shape when I said I wanted a softer/less sharp tip. She found Rachelle and liked her work with the photos she provided. She booked her easily and even explained all of the pricing. Nothing was a surprise as far as pricing and that is respectable. So my daughter came and got her fresh set and it is absolutely beautiful! What I really liked is at the shop is super beautiful inside the decor is pink and white and silver and it just really adds that pop to a positive positive environment. Lina had a great solution and did an amazing job matching it with an acrylic extension--you can't even tell in the photo. That said, if you're in a similar situation, I'd recommend asking for Gel-X instead of acrylic. The acrylic ended up feeling loose and didn't hold well, so I had to come back before leaving for a trip. To their credit, Sunny Nails squeezed me in the very next day. Another technician quickly assessed the issue, removed the acrylic, and replaced it with Gel-X (a full, strong nail--not just a tip). The result was flawless--she shaped it beautifully, and I was able to enjoy my trip with perfect nails. The only downside was the experience during the fix. The technician seemed frustrated, didn't respond to my thank you, and abruptly turned off the blue light and walked away without acknowledgment. It felt a bit uncomfortable--especially since I had already paid extra for the initial service and had to come back. Overall, they made it right, and I appreciate the quality of the final result--just wish the customer experience during the correction matched it.

While I love getting pedicures, the part I dread the most is the callous scrub because of the uncomfortable almost painful sensation. This time, however, Dawn gave me the first EVER pedicure without the horrible ticklish feeling - amazing! When all was said and done, I wanted to do it all over again. Nancy took great care of my mom, who is a nice retired lady who enjoys working at the salon to keep her busy. My mom also enjoyed her experience. The environment is clean and calm with nice music in the background. We enjoyed it so much that we made an appointment for a future visit. Please note: While they may accept credit/debit cards, we were asked to pay with cash for a $120 bill. Since I didn't have enough with me, it was suggested that I go to the bank and come back and then pay. There was no indication cash is preferred. I didn't like that, especially since it was our first visit and we had made it clear it was. I'm sure it's related to what Visa/MC charges for its use. That said, I will bring cash next time.
