We then reschedule several days later. I got a confirmation texting saying the appointment was booked. She told me she added it to her calendar. The day of my appointment I messaged her to let her know id be home early if she would like to come early. She was active on Instagram. I sent another message letting her know I was home early. She completely blocked me on Instagram. I texted her and she didn't respond. NO CALL NO SHOW. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt. Things happen and I completely understand so I waited a couple days to see what happened. My friend checked her Instagram and she's posting on Instagram. She is clearly ignoring me. It now has been a week. If you're a business owner you communicate with your customers. If you did not want to do my nails that day or any day of that matter you could at least let me know so I would go elsewhere. I've reached out through several sources to see what happened. I am being ignored. DO NOT recommend.

And she painted my toes and then had me soak and did a foot scrub? I feel like this could have messed up the polish she just did. It was hot in there. Oh and she was in her pajamas and there were random men doing construction in her living room while I was there. And her own painted nails looked awful so I didn't think mine would look any better if I let her try. And I don't know whether the tools she used on me were even sanitized or not. I accidentally came across Lisa today when I made an appointment with another tech but didn't have the name right. Well, that was one of the best mistakes I ever made! She did my nails to all the meticulous specifications I require with humor, grace, and patience. She made me feel comfortable and valuable and I appreciated that so much. Not to mention I LOVE my nails! (Lisa, please don't ever quit or move away; I need you!) *check out the photo of my nails I posted. Also I really enjoy getting my pedicure each time from Thao. Lina had a great solution and did an amazing job matching it with an acrylic extension--you can't even tell in the photo. That said, if you're in a similar situation, I'd recommend asking for Gel-X instead of acrylic. The acrylic ended up feeling loose and didn't hold well, so I had to come back before leaving for a trip. To their credit, Sunny Nails squeezed me in the very next day. Another technician quickly assessed the issue, removed the acrylic, and replaced it with Gel-X (a full, strong nail--not just a tip). The result was flawless--she shaped it beautifully, and I was able to enjoy my trip with perfect nails. The only downside was the experience during the fix. The technician seemed frustrated, didn't respond to my thank you, and abruptly turned off the blue light and walked away without acknowledgment. It felt a bit uncomfortable--especially since I had already paid extra for the initial service and had to come back. Overall, they made it right, and I appreciate the quality of the final result--just wish the customer experience during the correction matched it.
