I called…read moreyesterday because I needed a repair on a lifting nail and wanted to request Wendy since she's my preferred technician. I was disappointed by the response I received from Andrew. I understand if Wendy was unavailable, but Andrew told me that she wouldn't like me requesting her because she wouldn't make money, which felt unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. As a long time customer, I simply wanted to see the technician whose work I trust. Unfortunately, this interaction with Andrew left me feeling unwelcome, and I've decided that I will no longer be returning to the salon. I wanted to share this feedback because I believe it's important for management to be aware of how interactions like this can affect loyal customers. See below for a great example of the rudeness and unprofessionalism customers receive here. After being a loyal customer for years, it's disappointing to see criticism met with defensiveness instead of accountability. The fact that management feels the need to argue with reviewers rather than address concerns speaks volumes. This wasn't even my first uncomfortable experience at this salon, but I chose not to bring up the others. Unfortunately, their response only reinforced the concerns I already had.

I decided on the deluxe pedicure package which is the basic package upgraded with hot stones, and a warm towel wrap. Nina was very kind and fun to talk to. She provided a great massage and very attentive. Today's color: 749, old pine. I best describe as a turquoise, green-blue color. Perfect for Spring time!! I couldn't provide 5 stars because of the unnecessary back and forth to pay for my service. The woman at the counter attempted to redirect me to the ATM to avoid using my debit card. She tells me that they prefer cash payments (I paid debit last time without an issue). Not wanting to pay for an ATM fee, I scanned the shop's Venmo code and paid. Once I told the woman that I'm not sure if my payment went through because of the slow internet connection, then she offered to take my card. Right at that moment,, my Venmo payment went through. I will visit again and I will bring my debit card right along with me again to pay for my service. :D
