I wanted to squeeze in a pedicure before the holidays kicked off, so I called MV Hair and Nails…read morearound 9 am asking if they had any opening. The kind lady to answered the phone asked how many people and what time worked best for me. I told her that I was thinking 10 am, but if she could get the two of us in at the same time then 1030 would work. I then asked their pricing. She said $30 regular pedicure, $40 gel pedicure. This was a better price than I had been quoted at other salons, so I confirmed the 1030 slot and off we went. The shop is located in a massive former salon right next to AutoZone. When we arrived, there were signs on the door that stated that masks were required to enter. This was fine by me except for the fact that I only had my kids masks in the car . Luckily, I have a small face and made it work. When we went to enter the establishment, the door was locked, but a lady, who I later found out was Loan, quickly shuffled over and welcomed us in. She asked us to be seated while she finished with a client and I browsed through the standard gel polish offerings. We were then seated at the massage chairs and asked to place our feet in the basins while the water warmed up. Mary assisted my guest with their pedicure while Loan worked on my feet. Loan selected massage setting for us both as the remotes were locked in behind the chairs. This was something I hadn't seen before but if you are someone who likes to choose their own settings, it is something to keep in mind. The pedicure session was great. I am super ticklish and she made sure to not be too rough with my feet. The Cherry Berry color looked exactly how I wanted, so I asked for a gel manicure as well since it was $25. This is where things were not so good. My left hand came out perfectly. I chose Autumn Leaves and Champagne Gold, both with glittery sparkles. My right hand left more to be desired. It is now just over 8 days since my visit and the edges around my cuticles have already lifted and chipped off. The gel color doesn't go all the way to the side edges of my nail and it very easy to see the areas where the polish distribution wasn't even. Overall, I would return. The ladies are very sweet and welcoming. I would recommend Loan for pedicures and Mary for manicures.

Nichole is the owner of Mirror Court Salon and I have been going to her for years now. My best friend recommended her to me when I complained of not having any hairstylists in the area listen to what I want. Now Nichole is the only stylist I will allow to touch my hair!! She has brought me from my jet black hair to an icy blonde for a solid year and a half and while I loved the color, my poor hair just needed a break from the constant bleaching. A year later, I decided to experiment with a little caramel color and again, she delivered exactly what we discussed! She is truly amazing and listens to what you want while keeping your hair as healthy as possible. Before my wedding last October I was on the fence about which extensions to use and if I really even needed it. Nichole showed me the difference between clip ins and the halo- and while the halo is on the pricier side it's definitely worth the price! My hair blends in seamlessly each time and it honestly holds up so well! I highly recommend Nichole and Mirror Court Salon for all your hairstyling needs. I live an hour and a half away and still book with her every 6-8 weeks because she's just THAT GOOD!

Nothing fancy just a shop but clean and items sterilized. I had no concerns. Owner is now one person shop so call for appt or may be busy as a walk in. I get my haircuts from Lisa (the owner) and she always does an amazing job! She's very friendly, patient, and detailed-oriented, making sure my hair always comes out to my liking. I do want to note that Lisa is the only person currently running the shop, so appointments are definitely recommended. Although walk-ins do work as well, I find that going on off-hours such as Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons is usually the least busy. All in all, I wouldn't let this deter you as she does a wonderful job multi-tasking between customers and taking care of each person's needs. On a final note, as seen in my previous Yelp reviews, I am generally reluctant to tip; however, I am willing to make an exception here lol, especially since her prices are pretty fair compared to most places I've been (typically pay $20-25 as opposed to $40 elsewhere).
