This place will rob you!…read more I've been here twice and unfortunately, both times were a bad experience for separate reasons. The first time I came, I asked for natural looking dip and they made them very chunky and I had to have the manager file them down afterwards so they looked normal. And the lady who worked on my nails was very rude to my friend and I. The second time I went, the actual work looked good, but I they weren't following hygiene protocol and overcharged me significantly . The lady who gave my manicure was about to use used cuticle cutters on me and I had to remind her to please get a sealed sanitized bag of tools instead. Then they charged me separately for each manicure step. First they charged to remove the old dip, then they charged for the normal manicure (like filing my nails, and cutting my cuticles), plus a separate $60 charge for the gel! In total, they charged me $120!! I've gotten my nails done for several years now and in several more expensive states like California and New York and I've never been charged anything close to that high. Also, this was for a standard gel manicure without any special designs, French tip, massage, or anything like that. After all of that, their recommended tip selections were 25-30% smh

It's so rushed and I didn't even get a massage after she left me to go do another clients feet , I told the other lady I didn't get my massage and she said yes I saw her so it.. I felt gaslighted like how you gonna tell me that when I'm the one sitting in the chair..I'm so disappointed, I got a foot rub and a change of gel color if I'm being honest, and I payed for the deluxe. But okay I let it go, but I won't be back. I used to come here for over 5 years so it feels like a breakup. It is what it is. I also don't appreciate how unkept it's looking , it was always sparkling and now when you sit at a station it's not clean it's pretty dusty it's nail dust but I've been to other salons and they don't look like this. Decor and chairs are pretty outdated , I'm no longer a fan. I'm being hella generous with 3 stars because of the 3 nail techs that are still the best at what they do. That's all buh bye!

Initially everything was going good, nice customer service, quick to start the nails. Where it went downhill is the work. It is horrible and especially for $130 in this economy. While getting a pedicure, one of the ladies cut my toe very badly, it's cleaned up in the photo I've attached, however it was bleeding bad in the salon and very painful. I asked for milky white polish on the toes, and well it's plain white.. they also don't paint the full nail. To top it off the lady doing my nails added so many coats of gel polish that the nails were chunky and thick looking. I specifically asked for straight square shape nails, and I would expect them to be nicely shaped for the price. The lady did not even attempt to fix the shape. When it was time to pay I told the man at the counter my concerns and he did not care. Overall, I would never recommend this place to anyone, save your time and money and go somewhere that does better work. I had to come home and fix my nails shape myself. What a horrible experience for $130. No tip of course with this work.

The lady who did my feet was absolutely perfect, and my experience with her was great. However, the woman who did my nails was honestly very unprofessional. She repeatedly kept asking me if I wanted gel polish instead, and after I said no, it felt like she became rough and careless with my nails. I still have clear polish left on my skin, my nails are bumpy and streaky, and the white polish looks uneven. I've gotten white nails before many times, and they've never looked like this. The polish has already chipped in multiple places, and some sides of the nails barely even have polish on them. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because the pedicure service was wonderful, but the manicure quality was unfortunately less than mediocre.

I came back to Oasis thinking I would have the same experience and I did not. I was not offered anything to drink like last time, and the lady who did my pedicure was very rude and definitely made me feel like I was a bother. To make matters worse the lady who did my manicure asked me if I wanted my eyebrows done. For me, that's a no,no as I specifically listed what services I was there to receive. It felt more like an insult. The quality of the painting of my nails was also a disappointment. Welp, I do not plan on returning.

After a thorough review of nail salons in Grand Prairie, I decided to come to Oasis. I've been here…read morebefore, and even though the overall reviews weren't great, my experience has been okay. I saw Jennifer had raving reviews, so I decided to make an appointment for a manicure and pedicure with Jennifer. I called on Sunday to make an appointment for Wednesday. On the day of the appointment, I called to verify my appointment and the scheduled time. I ran into an issue, so I called and let them know I would be late and that I just wanted a pedicure. When I arrived at the salon, I explained to the man at the front desk that I had an appointment with Jennifer for a pedicure. He says to me, "Who took your appointment?" I explained that I didn't ask for a name. At that time, he says, "Jennifer only does nails". I asked him if there was a reason that the person who took the appointment couldn't let me know. He says to me, "Everyone knows Jennifer only does nails". I said I did not, and he asked, "What is the problem?" in a very rude, terse manner. I left because I don't believe in supporting a business that doesn't want you as a customer. To answer the question "What is the problem?" The problem is that, because of my past experiences, I wanted a good experience like the reviews said Jennifer provided. The problem is that I decided to go with this salon rather than another one I previously went to. The problem is that I took off work early to make it to my appointment. The problem is that I planned an experience with a 5-star-rated nail tech. The problem is this was a special occasion, so I wanted to make sure my pedicure was perfect. The problem is that I had to look for another place at the last minute after spending about 2 hours thoroughly reviewing reviews. I know to some this may not be a big deal, and under normal circumstances, I wouldn't care. I would have left and gotten my nails done another day after reading other reviews, but time wasn't on my side. Please educate your staff and phone answerers to let customers know if the appointment they book is not feasible. This was definitely 100% avoidable. Also, please don't attack someone unfamiliar with your practices. A simple admission of a mistake would have been fine; instead, I received a chastisement for an avoidable mistake. I went to the Room Nail Bar down the street, where the staff was fantastic and versed in customer service.
