I went to Nails Art yesterday (the day before the 4th of July) for the first time. I expected it to be very busy for the holiday and it was! I was greeted at the door immediately by the male owner who spoke perfect English and got me seated right away in a pedicure chair. He warned me there was a wait (I had no appointment, just walked in) since it was a holiday weekend and apologized many times. He offered me a bottle of water and gossip magazines. Since I was wearing a skirt, he provided me with a lap towel and a little pillow. I was able to soak my feet in warm water while I waited, and the wait was about 20 minutes (not bad on a holiday with no appointment). I believe my technician's name was Amy (she didn't have name tag). She was very sweet and I ordered the Gold Pedicure at $35. This includes callus removal (much needed), foot scrub, sea salt with oil, mask, cooling gel (felt amazing!), and 10 minute massage (the winner!). She set an actual timer for 10 minutes so that you know that you are getting the full 10 minutes - brilliant idea so that no customer feels cheated. The whole pedicure experience felt amazing. My poor tired feet and toes felt amazing afterwards and my bright blue toenails are perfect for this holiday. The customer service is beyond amazing from the minute you step foot in the door. The male owner does a great job checking on every client, updating everyone on the wait times, apologizing for the wait, and handing out bottled water for both clients and their guests (there were some men waiting for their women to finish, and the men got offered water too!). read more

I've been coming here for probably about 6 years and the service here is always so swift and amazing. I am Always greeted at the door and taken care of immediately. This salon just opened back up and the precautions they're taking is amazing. You have to sign in (covid release form) upon arrival and then they ask you to sanitize your hands upon entering the salon. They will not service you unless you have a face mask. Right now they are unable to do mani/pedi's at the same time due to social distancing but it's a bit nicer because you don't feel so crowded around the massage chair. There are now partitions in between each pedi chair and a acrylic divider between the chair and the person doing pedicures. There also are dividers on the tables where you get your mani's done. The owner does such a great job at checking in with customers and making everyone feel comfortable. Right now appointments are recommended just in case, they take priority over walk ins (nothing new). read more

She took time in shaping each of the nails although some aren't identical in width I can bypass that. Might I add she put 4 coats of gel. Not thick at all, and I don't see unevenness in the light!!! I have to say though, the clear coat seemed to have been lightly brushed because some nails seem dull. I have gotten my nails done here countless times but the last few times, the ladies are constantly talking (and pointing at me while talking) in Vietnamese so I can't understand. I came to this location Bc my friend comes here often and she got me a gift certificate for my birthday. I called ahead of time to make sure I didn't have to wait too long and the gentleman on the phone was nice to advice it was busy but will make sure to accommodate me as soon as possible. Came in and same man on the phone advised to pick a color and has a table available for me. Didn't realize how big the salon was. A lot of pedicure spa chairs and manicure tables, all filled with a technician/client. I loved the lady I got! Her name is Kim, not sure how many Kim's work there, she is a bit older lady. I requested a full set with coffin shape (shapes are always extra charge* don't be surprised) and I wanted my cuticles trimmed (extra $5) . I also requested a "manicure" meaning I wanted a massage but I guess they didn't understand or maybe I used the wrong terminology lol. Anyways why I like Kim Bc she did not hurt me at all. This place is getting 2 stars for the manager and that's it. He was impressive as hell running from customer to customer to make sure we were all happy and taken care of. My nail tech on the other hand gets half a star at best. She was on her phone THE ENTIRE time I was there, which made the process twice as long. She messed up a few toes I.e. she scraped the polish off my baby toe, when I asked her to fix it she painted over the other layer so of course it's all messed up and lumpy. When I come out the owner asks me what I want and I said pedicure but she told me oh no we don't have time, she said I don't think u want to wait over an hour. I was confused cuz I saw many open chairs and ladies who could do my nails plus the other lady told me to have a seat. So I decided to leave because I didn't have time to wait over an hour. When I left I decided to call just to call and ask to see if they had time for a pedicure. Of course the manager does not know my number and she answers the phone and I ask if if they have a long wait time I would like to have a pedicure. She replies oh no! Come on in we are not busy come right now I see you (Asian accent) then I bust out and tell that bitch off. I told her, you just told me you had over an hour wait! You lied and turned me as a customer away. What a horrible business owner ! But wait!!! There's more as to why she has done this to me and this is the second time she has done this but now I know for sure after calling that she turned me away on purpose ! I came here after getting my nails done at another place which is way better for acrylic nails designs (lavo nails amazing!) so when I came here she noticed I got my nails done elsewhere and she was mad at me for this! Well for starters I'm kind of mad that I'm still sitting here proceeding to get my nails done. I called in advance to see how much a fill with gel would be and they said 20$!! Sooo of course I'm gunna rush on over there to get it and I asked how much more it would be for a design and they said the total was damn near $40... so I was like uhh never mind I'll stick with the $20 fill and they're like uhhh no it's $28 for a fill with your nails.... I continue to say well I just called and someone told me 20$ they started calling me crazy and saying I never called them and they never said that.... so here I am wasting my money to get a 28$ fill at a plave where they call customers crazy and are super rude. The place seems big but you are super crammed and I'm getting my pedicure which will probably be $50 just for that and there is someone getting their fingers done and she's practically sitting on top of me... so safe to say I won't be coming back here and paying the ladies to call me crazy and lie to customers. To top it all off the lady was being so rude and intentionally hurting me and my feet when I said ouch she would look at me and keep doing it. My big toe nails are cut deep on the sides and are now uneven because she was bugging and hurting me. They were talking crap about me the whole time looking at me and laughing at me. I have frequented this place many times in the past as well as other salons. Being that this one is right around the corner, I usually come here when I'm short on time. Had a gel manicure done and the women who did them didn't bring the gel close to my cuticle. I pointed it out to her and she said it needed to be that far so it didn't peel. I've had gel many times before and enough to know it didn't need to be that far. I tried to go back the following day, and the salon owner wasn't really interested in fixing the issue. Took my husband here to see if a staff can help with an ingrown nail that he had. The staffs are super nice and friendly, but I will not be coming back ever again. I don't think their tools are fully sterile because a couple days later my husband got an infection on his toe. Loved my full set and pedicure from these ladies. Have now been twice and will continue to go because the price is great and they pay attention and are very detailed. Only thing I was bummed about was the corners of the acrylics were sharp and I had to fix the edges when I got home. I asked a couple times to have them fixed, but was told it's ok each time. I'm bummed to write this updated review, but I was extremely disappointed with the service today. I may not come back to this place after today. I had my acrylics removed and normally it doesn't hurt at all for me. Today it was painful because the lady was ripping them off!! To the point where it ripped a chunk of my real nail off of my thumb and I was bleeding and she was just going to continue working through the blood. This could have been completely avoided if she just went a little slower and cut that piece off instead of try and rip it off like she did. After we cleaned up some of the blood she was filing my nails and when I asked if she could cut them she just kept asking why? Uhm it doesn't matter why. After she cut them a tiny bit she started filing them more and bending my nails backwards... OUCH! After all was said and done the owner asked how everything was and asked for constructive criticism so I gave some and his response was oh well it happens and she'll do better next time. No there most likely won't be a next time! P.S As I write this review 20 min after my service my thumb is still bleeding. read more

I was looking for a new nail salon to go to since I recently moved in this neighborhood in November 1st. I was so excited to see their star on yelp, so I decided to try this nail salon and get my gel manicure done after work. I came in at 6:10pm, I know its a little late and almost time for closing so I asked first if they were still taking people in cause they close in an hour. They took me in and I was happy. Told me to sit on one station. I asked them where their OPI gel colors are, they gave me a lot to choose from. I chose a color, then as soon as they got the actual polish, it wasnt OPI, they said it's a good brand. But I specifically asked for OPI so I had asked again which colors are OPI gel. They gave me the color pallette again, I chose a color, asked to confirm if it's OPI. It was already 6:25pm when the nail lady started, she did the cotton balls with acetone wrapped with foil since I previously had gel on my nails. She didnt get the cuticles out of my nails, I asked nicely if she could get the cuticles out. She did, but not all of them. She seemed like she was in a hurry. So I just let her finish coloring and after that, I paid even though I didnt like the job she has done. I will never come back to this salon, id rather drive back to where I use to get my nails done than throw my money away for some half-ass job. read more
