I went here today and 30 min later I went to another nail salon. My nails were so thick and heavy. I didn't realize how bad they were until I went to my car. Mindy had a smooth application but I think she needs time to learn how to shape. I spent $60 there and another $60 for correction elsewhere. A full set cost me $75 a month ago with design. You live and learn I guess. I won't be back. Customer service was great and she was really sweet. I called to see if I can make an appointment fand the lady said they would take me right away. When I walked in they asked me to pick my color, first off I wasn't impressed, they have really old bland colors and cheap nail polish. I didn't see any OPI or any nice nail polishes there that caught my eye. Thankfully I found one color that I liked but never heard of the name. Anyhow I was seated at the pedicure chair as I called to get a pedicure what got me was that it was only $14. Where I live in the Valley I usually pay $20 for a pedicure which is pretty pricey if you ask me. Anyhow they sat me down put the blue stuff in the bowl and let me sit there, I sat and waited for about good 7 mins and finally someone came to help me. This woman hurt me like crazy she was taking out my cuticles and was totally hurting me in the process, I did my best to handle it but I was totally jerking my foot to get her to notice. DISLIKE. Anyhow I was looking around and I saw on their board that they had a special for mani and pedi for $20.00 I asked if they could have someone do my manicure and pedicure at the same time and they said yes but someone ended up coming 10mins later took off my current nail polish walked away and than 5 mins later another lady came. The lady who began to do my manicure I could tell right away she was going to suck, she said no hi no hello no how you doing. I'm not expecting to have a full on conversation with her but a hello would have been nice. Anyways I just kinda sat there the whole time looking on my phone, they had no magazines or nothing, it was kinda blad the place was clean looking but very outdated and blah.. So my pedicure was done and my pedicure looked great even though it hurt she did a good job. My manicure on the other hand looked awful, I think I could do a better job myself. I didn't say anything I just gave her my tip and left. For $25.00 I got myself a mani and pedi and $5.00 for callus remover. Would I come back, maybe just for a pedicure but would never come back for a manicure. Not even 24 hours later my nail polish chipped, picture to be shown. The lady should have put an extra coat or something. I'm really pissed cuz it's a waste of $5.00.. If I'm in the area I may come back but this is not a place I would frequent. read more

I walk in and there was not a wide selection of colors but behind a glass case there were tons of colors. I asked if I could select the ones behind the glass case and they said those were for sale. Meet up and get nails fixed then go eat? I like the eating part, but the nail part I'm a bit lost on. Perhaps two or three times a year, I will pay for someone to cut away the four pounds of dead cuticle that accumulates on my hands. Weight training, scrubbing, cooking, and compulsive hand washing gives for a good amount of excess skin on the fingertips. Yummy, huh? Anyways, I came here for my semi-annual cleaning and was pleasantly surprised by the price and the service. From my limited experience, $10 doesn't give you much of anything outside of crap that I could improve on at home for free. These ladies were friendly and careful. I only got my cuticles cut off, nails filed clean, and a buff. No polish, no massage, no gooey lotion, nothing. Typically, with a small order like that, the service will blow because total equals tip, right? Nope. Not here. The woman who worked on my mangled digits worked diligently and was very friendly the entire time through. Her tip was my total and it was well deserved. Went in 1st time for a gel mani, Helen helped me and was very sweet. I was a little skeptical about this place just because of the area and not really knowing how their work would be. Well I was pleasantly surprised, Helen did a good job. I did notice a few bubbles in the polish on a couple of nails but all in all, not bad. She took her time, asked the right questions about how I like my nails, etc. Then to find out the price...... $22! That's a good deal. I just went to get acrylics removed and the lady literally RIPPED them off my hands. I could have done that my damn self. If I could give them negative ten thousand stars I would. I literally yelled in pain the third nail in and she just looked at me, laughed and kept going. If I didn't need those nails off as badly as I did I would have walked out right then. When I first came to do my nails I was attended by a very sweet lady. She was charismatic and charming. We laughed the entire time and she left my nails looking beautiful. The second time I came, I had a different lady. She did not speak to me at all but still did a good job. However, I was not aware that you aren't allowed to tip with your debit card. I only had my card on me and didn't have an ATM nearby. I figured I'd just tip her next time I return. So I came for a third time and the same lady attended me. I already had in mind that I'd double tip her this time. Perhaps she was upset because of the incident because she did a horrible job. The acrylic isn't even covering my full nail, the art looks worse than something I could've done myself, and she spoke about me and laughed in my face the entire time...not sure what to do. read more

Ok so I've been coming to Paris Nails for a few years now. Manicures, pedicures, waxing, whatever I plan to get done, this is my go to place. One because it's close to home, (literally walking distance) second, because they do a decent job. They're usually really nice and will make sure to get you in even though they run a little past their closing time. They've always done a good job with my pedicures I've never been disappointed with that. But with manicures sometimes they're eh... This past Friday for example I just wanted a simple manicure and a solid color & the lady cut me twice! She was really sweet about it, unlike other places they don't even apologize, she actually made sure to make it a little better so it wouldn't sting. The painting of my nails wasn't perfect because they somehow always miss little parts of the sides! Lol.. but this always happens and not just here.. anyway. Hi everyone reading... SHARING my experience at Paris Nails. After reading reviews I decide to stop in, the prices are affordable. BUT I am defintelty not coming here EVER again the cutomer service was horrible. Some of the problems were my nails werent the same shapes some were super thick and to top it off they dont clean there fans so dont pick a light nail polish because you will have dust specs drying with your nail polish. But to make matters worse Got my nails done Thursday and after a couple days 2 nails came off so I go in Monday 4 days later to get them fixed. And I have to pay which is not the problem $5 no big deal. So I try asking why I have to pay nicely and they tell me if it falls off 2 days after then they will fix free of charge. They were nice the first time I went in but the second time was a different story. But thats besides the point. The girl who was fixing my nail even addressed to me that at her previous employer they would fix them for free. Its just called good customer service but My main concern was more nails coming off and sure enough its Thursday and last night another nail came off and another is loose! So by the time I end up fixing every single nail in less than 2 weeks I will be paying the price of a full set ! I called this morning to see if I could speak to a manager or owner and the ladies keep telling me there is no one in charge on duty she tells me she will have her manager call me and hangs up doesnt take any of my info down I call back and have her write down my name and phone number and she starts telling me I know who you are and getting loud and being rude I was simply calling back to give her my info because how is someone supposed to call me if they dont have my name and phone number. The way they handled things was not professional when I spoke to them they didnt seem to care. Also a second employee who fixed my nails saw my nails and said the next time I came in she would sand them down for me and fix the shape. But didnt offer to fix them then and there when I had just gotten them done less than a week ago. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WHY PEOPLE COME BACK !! I too work in a place which requires customer service and if a customer is not happy I suck it up and try to fix the problem! read more
