I tried really hard to like this place as it was my first visit, and I came with 4 people. They did keep the appointment time that I made, so that was a plus. The manager was kind and wanted to make us happy. She helped us find the colors that we were looking for. I was pleased that they used the plastic liner in the foot tub. From there, it went south. The person who did my toes cut me and made me bleed and pretended like nothing happened. I've been getting my nails done for over two decades and that has never happened to me before, so I know I'm not an easy bleeder. It's the next day and my toe has a scab on the inside and hurts A LOT. I don't even know if I'll be able to wear my heels tomorrow for the event I was getting ready for. Hopefully, I won't get an infection. Then, she moved on to my hands. She did not follow proper manicure procedures. No cuticle lotion. No hand lotion or massage. I asked her not to cut my nails because I was going to an event and wanted them square with a round edge. Her filing was atrocious. She filed them so much that she might as well have cut them. She couldn't file properly at all. My nails were all U-shaped (dipped in the center). I asked her to fix them. She made it worse. Then, she told me to fix it myself because her manager was busy! Say what?! I waited for the manager. Still wasn't the best, but at least it was tolerable. My nails did not end up being even length, and the design certainly left something to be desired. Of our group of 4 people, only 1 person was happy with her nails and the design. It was apparent to all of us, that the woman with the super long hair was the only one who knew what she was doing. I think the staff is underqualified, and they push really hard for additional services even though I said multiple times no to the same service. If you're looking for a quick polish change, I would say go for it. Place was a bit pricey though. read more

STAY AWAY! I am from mission Viejo and was in town visiting a friend and we decided to get our nails done. My nails came out awful. I hate when you go to nail salons and you tell them what you want and they try to convince you to get something else that will look better. Well, that's what the lady here kept trying to do. I like getting my acrylics short and natural looking. She kept saying it was gonna be an issue getting them that short. She cut me twice, my nails are uneven and when I told her if she can fix them, she said "it's because they're too short" I've never had a problem with getting my nails short. I posted a picture of the price board. I walked in, I was greeted 5 minutes after. I arrived at 5 and was attended at 6:30 pm. There were two ladies before me. I decided to go against gel because I've never not had gel. First, a girl was sent to remove my current nails. She hurt me.... A lot.she kept hurting me over and over again.she just kept saying. "I know it hurts- almost over" That put me in a bad mood obviously. Thank goodness she was not the person who was doing my nails. She sent me to a desk where it said "Kim" it was an older lady. She was sweet, she hurt me twice but was nice about it. They kept mumbling to each other things and a little obvious. I was trying to ignore it. So she said $18 for nails.... Plus $5 for the pointy nails..... And ended up charging me $30. Stupidly, I over tipped her because the first girl, said. Are we charging the tip on your card or do you have cash? That was pushy. I paid nearly $40 for lame nails that messed up right after I left. It was a bad experience. I'm giving it 3 stars because I'm being generous the lady who did my nails was elderly. I've been to plenty of nail salons but this one has to be one of my favorites. I got a pedicure and a full set, and when I walked into the salon I was greeted right away. This lovely lady which I didn't happen to quite get the name for started on my pedicure and it turned out the way I wanted it to. They have a wide amount of variety nail polish that you can choose from. The pedicure was 16$. While I was getting my pedicure Peter, who happened to have mentioned he started about 2 months from now got started on filing my nails and getting the acrylics on. Coffin shaped nails are not easy to do but he did a fantastic job. Full set without gel is 25 and with gel is 35. I strongly suggest paying an extra 10 dollars for gel. It's much nicer. Overall, a cute and petite nail parlor. I will be back for a fill. read more
