We were immediately greated with a smile and were sat down. Kim took care of my husband's mani & pedi (it was his first time and he has sensitive feet, so he was pretty anxious), but she kept reassuring him and ensuring that he was as comfortable as possible--his hands & feet looked brand new afterwards! Gwen took care of me and she was also super sweet, gentle & was detail-oriented. I hadn't gotten my nails done in a while, so this was definitely a delightful treat. The massage chairs are a bit worn since they have been in business for some years now, but nothing too crazy to complain about there. They still worked really well, I almost fell asleep as I was so relaxed. Everything looked pretty sanitary in my opinion. They wore gloves, used clean tools, and towels. At my most recent visit, the same technician as last time seemed unaware of social cues. I was clearly reading a book and hoping for a quiet session, but she kept interrupting with questions, so I had to put it away. I also had to tell her multiple times that she was being too aggressive, despite me directly saying "this is uncomfortable and I am not enjoying this", she didn't adjust her approach. I'm now left with broken skin. Condescendingly when applying the polish she added a question "does this hurt." I don't think this tech is licensed. Meanwhile my second service was completed I had to remind the 'tech' to add the clear coat. When it came time to check out I noticed they added an unadvertised additional fee. Still giving them a 20% tip this was a stressful servicing. It may be time for a new fav salon.
