As a nail connoisseur I approve. I wish I lived closer I'd come here every time. Best manicure I have gotten no joke!!! Quality.

This is my go to spot for getting my nails done. They are always super professional and my no chip stays on and never chips. Great price for a luxury manicure. Your customer service does depend on the technician you get though so whether you get a nice hand massage can be hit or miss. read more

NAS has been my mani-pedi home for the past 2.5 years. They're all so lovely and always do their best to make your appointment requests work. An affordable, High quality, customer service oriented business is enough to keep me coming back as long as I live on the north side :) read more

By far one of the best Nail salon's in Chicago. I have known one of the owners for 13 years from another salon and knew eventually she would open her own place. It is clean, comfortable and friendly. I had my 50th Birthday party there and they were more than accommodating. The staff is great, from the owners David & Lina, to Sylvia the facial and wax expert, you will always get a great service and a great time! A million stars for NAS!!! read more

Official regular...they do quality work; I had a really nice experience with a mani/pedi this past week. I wish I caught the tech's name, but she did a stellar job. I was mostly blown away by her attention to detail. During my manicure, she noticed a teeny tiny bit of lint in the nail polish brush. She stopped, and used a cuticle cutter to remove it from the brush, and repainted the couple nails that were left a bit "streaky" from the lint. I've had nail techs leave everything from bubbles to blobs on my fingernails. This was great service! I will definitely be back again. read more

It's the second time I've come here and I'm going to make this my neighborhood spot. It's super easy to get an appointment here and they are so fast and detailed. It will blow your mind how quickly they work! With a complimentary white wine in one hand and a soothing hand mask on another, you'll get the full pampering treatment. Also -- my regular old mani (which cost less than $20) lasted me a whole two weeks which is INSANE. I've had no chip that didn't last that long. I don't know their secret, but it's a good one. The people who work there are good people too, and it's a cute little unassuming spot perfect for a little pampering. read more

Great!!!! Best kept secret in Chicago. Lina gives the best mani/pedi! The pedi last forever and the no chip is great. Im always so happy when I leave....my nails look great. The staff is wonderful and super nice. It's also BYOB.... Love it. Definitely a great salon!!! read more

The most amazing nails place EVER!!!!! If you want to get your nails perfectly done and totally relax YOU MUST MUST visit NAS salon & spa.... I was there last week and my mani is still in tact, not one chip!!! LINA is THE BEST nail technician EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I refuse to go anywhere else because once you been at NAS you keep going back!!! Amazing costumer service!!!! read more

What a great addition to the neighborhood!! Nas is WONDERFUL!! I went in this weekend for a pedicure and walked out with new feet!! First, everyone at Nas is SO NICE - sweet, kind, funny - and just great energy. Second, free wine, coffee, tea or beer - hello relaxation! Nothing like unwinding from a long day with a glass of wine and a sweet manicurist! Third, my pedicure lasted an hour. She was incredibly thorough. Normally I'm in a hurry, but I really didn't want to leave. It took an hour because my feet were TRASHED. She got rid of all the dead skin (gross, I know!), really freshened up my feet and then gave me a foot and calf massage I won't soon forget! Fourth, they are OPEN SUNDAYS!! I can't wait to go back and get my no-chip done here. I love finding a good spot with good people. Trust me, you'll LOVE Nas!! read more

I generally have a good outcome when I come here. The last two times the nail techs are expressionless and less than enthusiastic. I asked for a Towel to dry my legs after she left them sopping and went straight to painting without drying. My legs were cold and I wanted to pull down my pant legs. She looked at my rudely and asked what? I don't appreciate being treated like that. Hopefully they will work on their customer service. I thinks it's time for a new salon. read more

A little expensive, but they do really quality mani and pedis. I've been going here for years and I don't go anywhere else because of their level of service is just so great. read more

Love this place one of the best in the city. The service is great and they do good designs. Some of the technicians take a long time though.

I just love this place! It's so cute in there and everything is so CLEAN!!! Plus you can text them to set up an appointment, like how awesome is that! I feel like they're a hidden gem because they're never that busy when I go. But they should be because they're amazing! They don't do acrylics but do these European gel nails and they're awesome! I totally recommend this salon. read more

I normally think that a decent manicure is fairly standard and not something to rave about. That is until a few days after I visited Nas. I went there on Friday with a wedding party and had a great experience. They were all very nice, took great care of us, were accommodating with extra services and even BYOB. All of those items to me are worth a high review but mostly I expect them. What makes this place stand out is that after 5 days my nails only had 1 minor chip and that was because I knocked it into a door. I've never had a regular manicure last more than 3 days without a ton of chips. I even have a dark color which always show chips more but not this time. Highly recommend going here for manicures. I'll definitely be back. read more

This place is awesome. I went just because it was near me but ended up going back often to get no chip manicures. Service is great, efficient, a lot of colors to choose from, and the no chip doesn't wreck your nails like it does from other places (because they don't overdo it on filing the color off from the last time). Great place and reasonable prices. Love it! read more

KP is amazing! She gave me a cut and a beautiful ombre! She is super patient and suuupppppper friendly! I will definitely be coming back to her for all my future hair needs! :) read more

After reading many reviews on Nas I was really excited to give them a shot! I am always on the hunt for a great place to get a mani-pedi and I still haven't found that one perfect spot. I typically go to another location down Clark but parking is always an issue, which is why I loved the fact that Nas offered permits for their customers. Th overall atmosphere is nice and the prices aren't bad either. However, the lady who did my nails did a mediocre job. I have a few nails that were not shaped evenly or straight and I was cut 3 times while she cut my cuticles. I understand accidents happen but 3 times is a little ridiculous, I didn't even receive an apology. Then after 2 days of having my nails done almost all of them had chips. I did nothing for this to happen; no cooking, no cleaning, no work, nothing, and still freakin chipped. I was very disappointed, this does't even happen when I do my own nails at home. I am all for second chances but I don't know if I will ever return to this place. read more

Went in for a Brazilian wax. First timer, let me just say it helped that this place is BYOB! They were ready RIGHT when we got in even though we were a half hour early. They understood when we said we need a minute and some wine glasses :-) they even opened the bottle for us. Now for the waxer Sylvia was very nice and walked me through what she was going to do. She talked throughout which helped a lot. She gave me and my friend after care advice and let us know the first time is always the hardest. We scheduled a return appointment :-) read more

Awesome service. Easy to book an appointment. Probably one of the best places to get a manicure in the Wrigleyville neighborhood. 100% recommend. I got a gel manicure for an interview. It turned out perfect and has lasted a couple of weeks! read more

Got a no-chip mani and clasdic pedi today... Service was friendly and prompt, complimentary tea, lots of cool colors to choose from. Tips are only accepted in cash so go prepared! Will definitely go back! read more

I didn't read a single review, my husband got a mani pedi gift certificate from girls in his office and he wasn't able to use it before we moved out of state so I did. I called on a Wednesday to schedule a 1pm appt on Thursday. I walked in at 1:02 to everyone looking at me like I was crazy! The opposite of welcoming...not even someone saying "what do you need, ok pick your color" I've been there! When someone finally came over I was able to say I had a 1pm appt and could I please get mani first - no response, she just led me to a chair and walked away. 3-5 minutes later I asked how long and she walked away to look at something on her desk. I followed after a minute and she said she could have someone give me a pedi but want comfortable with that person giving me a mani. I found out why quickly - nothing against the person but she was so slow...a pedi shouldn't take more than an hour...I'm writing this as she's ever so slowly wiping the lotion off of my feet, it's 1:50 and she hasn't started polish!!!! I have kids to pick up at 3 and am worried I might not make it I'm not even giving the review based on quality, just service alone and it's the worst - I don't have high expectations for these kinds of places, but acknowledgement at the very least - I didn't even get that! There are about 5 other customers and about half have tea or water - I was not offered anything - I would never recommend this place! read more

update! i'm 10 days deep on my mani/pedi from nas. unfortunately for my nails (and my bf) it's been a particularly crafty week, and hot glue, dish water, felt and planting soil have been de rigueur. and holy balls, have they held up! the pedi looks like it was done yesterday, and i only have one little chip on one little nail of the manicure. nas has just jumped to my number one choice for nail services! read more

Got a no-chip manicure and they were so attentive to detail! Literal perfection. Day 5 and my mani looks just as fresh as day one.

This place is the best. I live a mile and a half south of the shop, and have tons and tons of mani/pedi places within a few blocks of my apartment, but it is so worth it to hike up to Nas. The polish application is impeccable, not a drop anywhere on my skin or cuticles. I've had my current pedi going on two weeks and it still looks flawless. I'm generally clumsy and stub my toes on things a lot, so this is pretty miraculous. On top of all of that, Nas is clean and pretty inside, it doesn't have that chemically nail salon smell, they have a polish and gel selection like I've never seen before, the employees are really friendly, and to top it all off you can sip a complementary beverage. There's absolutely no reason to go anywhere else. read more

My experience with Nas has always been excellent. Today I did not have that experience. I felt very uncomfortable and not welcomed. No one was super chatty or friendly. I forgot their credit card machine does not give you an option for a credit card tip. The lady cashing me out said "it's always been that way," in a snotty tone. Overall, I was disappointed in my experience today with the customer service. I've always encouraged friends and co workers to go here. It's difficult to bring cash when I use a bank that does not carry very many ATMs. I rarely carry cash so it's difficult to leave a tip. I do not plan on going back to Nas. My nails look perfect though, I just wish the customer service wasn't so awful today. read more

They are getting bumped up as I get to be more regular and they are friendlier. I have also called day-of every time and they've never had any problem fitting me in. Lastly, my manicure actually LASTS!!! That's never happened before :) read more

I have found my new nail place. Hands down. I have been 3 times (1 manicure and 2 no-chips). Both times the no chips lasted a good 3 weeks! I have never had much luck with no-chips in the past, but clearly Nas Salon and Spa knows what they are doing. They also have the LARGEST no-chip color selection I have seen. If you are indecisive like myself, prepare to come a little early just to have a chance to look at the colors (even though everyone is very patient). Nas is also great when it comes to pushing appointments back. I am not always prompt with my appointment times, but whenever I call to let them know, there is no problem pushing my time back. Overall, they have earned the 5 stars. read more

No chip lasted long! The service was ok, I came in an hour before close and felt like they were annoyed by that.

I have been going to this salon for over a year and I never had a complaint until now. I gave myself a two hour gap to do a mani, pedi and wax. The pedi took over an hour to do, and the mani is already pealing and my cuticles are extremely sensitive now and it hasn't been a week yet. They took so long with my pedi that I had to cancel my wax because I no longer had time. And I understand, make sure to have enough time for these services. However, as I mentioned, I've been going here long enough to know that a mani pedi usually takes 1 HR and 15 min or so. I go to pay, and the receptionist had an attitude while telling me that they only take venmo or quickpay and that accepting my card was a courtesy. I explained that I have always paid the same way for over a year and her response, "Well I have been working here for over 6 years." Not only was a smart response, but I heard her earlier while I was getting a pedi tell a customer she just moved from Indiana. She then clarifies that only tip is taken by venmo or quickpay (with an attitude). I no longer plan to go here for a mani and pedi. They lost a customer which I'm sure they can care less for. I plan to only go to see Silvia (Who does wax services) as she knows the importance of customer service. Oh and that pedi that took over an hour; started pealing as soon as i left the salon. read more

The place was amazing. Really great. i really do love it. The only problem was that I went in for an acrylic full set and walked out with a gel. Which is also fine except for the fact that I didn't expect to pay 55$ for a gel manicure. Gel usually runs for about 35$ and while I understand that this is a price difference with each store they was nothing in the store that says they would rob you. No signs or pamphlets that list prices and their yelp website says that gel full sets are 35$. Word to the wise bring a fat pocket when you come here ... you will have a great experience but you will pay the price. read more

Best manicure (no-chip) I've ever had. Lilly was my technician and she was AMAZING! Selection of colors is plentiful, many colors I've never seen at my local salon. Lilly took her time and really made the experience awesome...very patient and particular with her work, and I appreciate that. My nails have never looked so good! I also got a regular pedi, and that was wonderful as well. I will definitely be back. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! SOOOOO Clean! They never re-use utensils. In fact, they open up a fresh package right in front of your eyes. The staff is amazing and freindly and constantly offered me something to drink. At the end of my amazing pedicure, they came out with a little plate, and in it was a ferrero rocher! So reasonably priced. My pedicure was only $28!!! Please give them a try;trust me, it's worth it! read more

Love this nail salon! It's relaxing inside and very professional. Great staff and my nails last so long every time I get them done here.

Seriously best place to get your nails done in the city!!! Great for when your having a princess day :)

This is seriously the best nail salon I have ever been to. If I didn't live in Lakeview this would still be my go to nail salon. The staff is friendly and hard working plus they actually all do a great job! I don't have to worry about getting a great manicure one week and then a bad one the next. It's super clean and cute too. Plus 5% off fur paying cash so you can get the best no chip mani for only $38! I've also gotten regular manis and they lasted a very long time too. read more
