The women including myself were getting just a manicure with gel. The women I had was Great. Although she didn't talk unless she wanted me to move my hand a special way, she did a Great job. The other girls in our group had good workers except one- our daughter had an older man doing her nails - he cut he 3x she was even bleeding still when we left and her nails were not good- chipped after a couple of days. If you go stay on the safe side ask for a female or the younger guy - he was really good.

She took all I asked for from the different inspiration I had and gave me a beautiful design. Everything from her perfect ombré to placing the jewels better than I would have asked her to. You could tell Sabrina knew what she was doing. They weren't too thick or thin and she made them the ideal length for me. I usually have such trouble sitting through filing and she made it less irritating and offered me wine while I sat and watched her work. For such detailed work it didn't take her long. She was kind and talked to me but also gave me my space when I wasn't up for chatting. I highly recommend this salon for your manicure and pedicure needs. My pedicure was ok she painted outside my nail beds and had to make her correct them but had an attitude. I then go for my nails and she's not letting them soak. She can't do acrylic so I have to get dip which I'm not used to the lady who could do them the owner kept refusing to help. She does my dip the shape isn't what I want to wide doesn't want to fix them. Then it's time to paint she keeps asking what color I want I said French she's like oh that hard I don't know if I can do it. Then does one nail, while she's doing the one nail the owner lady is rushing get by turning off the lights in the salon so it's darker and she can't see very week so the other lady decided to help which was ok she tried. Then it's time to pay, it $140 all together because She said my nails are long. But wait the lady Who finished my nails she says I'l you'll get $15 to t since you donated them. I asked did you just add a tip? And when I asked for an itemized she brakes it down and the lady who did my set told her you're wrong. I pay that for longer nails almond shaping a speciality pedicure and better service in North hills. This place sucks and because she doesn't pay her workers well she hounds people to tip them. All three of us had birthdays in August, so it was the perfect opportunity to have a treat as well. Manicures and pedicures are not typically my thing, so I didn't readily have someplace in mind. I did a Google and Yelp search to find a place that had good reviews. I came across Posh Nails off of US Highway 17 in Garner and decided to go there and see if they allow walk-ins. Luckily, when I arrived they had availability and did allow walk-ins so the three of us were seated right away for our pedicures. It's a nice set up at this facility. They also have free beverages available while you're being serviced. Christina was my nail technician. She did a great job with my pedicure and my manicure. My parents pedicure and manicure also went well. There were two things that I observed during my visit that threw me for a loop. (1) I was unaware of an additional service charge separate from the cost for the manicure and the pedicure. My first thought was that the beverages aren't really free, and there's a secret charge for the beverages but when I inquired about what it was for, I was told it's because I had two different services done. That struck me as very odd. Some nail salons actually give you a discount if you're having a combination manicure and pedicure service. This was the very first time that I heard of a service charge because I had two services done instead of one. I was eager to see the bill so that I could see exactly how it was listed, but conveniently enough, I did not receive an itemized bill just a credit card receipt. (2) My technician set up a small fan so that I could have my nails dried before I left the facility; however, my mother's technician tried to have my mom leave right after he finished painting her nails without drying them first. It took my father's technician to point out to my mother's technician that he needed to dry my mom's nails first because they were still wet. I was quite surprised that my mother's technician thought it would be OK to not dry her nails before letting her leave the facility. Overall, our visit went well, but because of those two instances I mentioned above, I have reduced my score from 4 to 3.
