This place is pretty good for the price. I usually come here when I want to get my toes or nails done but sometimes they don't clean up your cuticles that well (they do give a nice massage though). The last few times I was unhappy with the design and the lady didn't fix it...wasn't too happy about that, almost made me not want to come back or not ask for a design anymore (I mean it is $5 for 2 toes). I think it's usually like $30 for a manicure and pedicure. *Update: I first rated this place 3 stars after having a not as good experience the last two times but when it comes down to it I really do love this place, I mean I go here at least every month to month and a half. They are pretty nice, in a good location, give quick service, have nice massage chairs and offer free soda/water for customers. Sea salt scrub is included in pedicure too. If you want a really good job though try to get Vicki (she does awesome designs) or Linda. They also do waxing and hair but I haven't ever used those services. I walked in at around 10am on a Friday and was able to get a pedicure/manicure right away. I had read Yelp before going to Nail Touch and was informed that it was cheap and nice. I didn't expect too much because it was a good deal ($33 for pedicure/french manicure). The pedicure was fine. It seemed relatively sanitary, but I was still a little bit uneasy because I'm not sure how well they cleaned everything. I was spoiled by the place I used to go to in Berkeley where they used a new batch of tools every time (T&T salon!). The lady that I had did a good job cutting my cuticles, but she didn't really care for giving massages. She basically just rubbed back and forth lightly. That was the most disappointing part of the pedicure. I had the same experience with the french manicure. The massage was very brief and light. The end result of the manicure was okay. It wasn't great. She didn't pay too much attention to detail. Overall, for the price, I thought it was fine. It's a good place to go to when you just need a walk-in place. I had a really good experience getting a deluxe pedicure here. It was really relaxing and the massage was thorough. Sometimes, the pedicure massages at salons are really sad and perfunctory. Not here. Frankly, just that part was worth it. They are very gentle with the clippers, too. I felt that it was a good value. Nail Touch is pretty clean, I like that! I have been their customer for over 4 years. I have tried lots of other nail places (more popular and more expensive) but have to say... MY FAVOURITE PLACE EVER. Nikki and Kim are awesome with the massage and pay attention to detail on color, filing, message and hygine. Call me superstitious but my flimsy hand nails actually grow, and my red nail polish with design and stones on my foot actually don't chip or fall off for 4 weeks+ when I get my mani pedi from them. Other places have given me infection that lasted a year+. Somehow Nikkis touch actually is letting my cuticle grow back. IT's AWESOME. Don't care for the owner, she gives me the creeps when she is pushy and wants you to take anyone so she can make the money. I had a pedicure and a touch up on a gel manicure I originally got somewhere else. Pedicure was very nice... but aren't the always? I didn't even intend to get a manicure but the lady asked while doing the leg massage and I was too weak to resist. The manicure work was a little too artificial looking, but it got lots of compliments. I mean to say they used the standard white nail polish to apply the tips, instead of the more natural looking alternative. They were very careful to clean up my cuticles and maximize the re-application of the gel nails. They took a group reservation and had staff on hand to deal with us all at the same time. Just went for the 1st time, and despite being slow Monday, the service was terrible. I went in to get my nails freshed up before a job interview, and now I am hoping the interviewer doesn't notice the messed up nails! The girl who did my nails kept watching television while working on my manicure. 1st coat, she left a speck of dry paint chip. She tried to cover it, but then gave up and started over. 2nd coat, she left the nail polish streaky. I asked her to touch up, and she was pleasant about it. However, she did not place a second dry clear coat, and of course as soon as I drove, the polish pushed off while maneuvering the steering wheel. Went in with a coworker after work to get a manicure before heading to NYC for work (I'd never visit a client with chipped nails!)...it's a long story, but I didn't have time to go to my usual place, Minna (which rules). They didn't have enough people working so the one lady tried to do both our manicures within 1 hour, which was a miserable fail. She rushed through my friend's manicure which involved a gross oil massage. Seeing that hot mess, I opted to just get a polish change, which the lady didn't even do a decent job with (oh, and she took TWO phone calls during). I'd rather paint my own nails than ever go here again, even in an emergency situation. At least the polish change was only $6. read more

This place is your typical nail salon, no bells and whistles but at $25 for a pretty darn good mani/pedi, who can complain. Went on a Saturday at about 2 p.m. had to wait a few minutes but not long. I was greeted with a pleasant smile and of course the "ok pick your color". Not a great color selection so if you want something particular I'd recommend bringing your own. But they have the basics (OPI but no Essie). The technician was very pleasant (I had Vicky but they all seemed to be treating their customers very well), and it was nice and quiet in there for the most part (the occasional chatter between them but nothing like the incessant chatter another reviewer reported). Overall it was very relaxing, she took her time and did a great job, and didn't try to throw an extra charge at me at the end for an "extra-long" foot/leg massage or tacky nail design I didn't ask for. This is a review for a spa pedicure. It was ok. Not the greatest, not the worst. The lady wasn't thorough about getting the gunk out from under my nails or cutting my ingrown toenail (so I have been told at other places I've been). She massaged my legs for what seemed a long time. I was expecting a quicker massage. I really wasn't paying attention to what she was doing. I was in a dire need of a pedicure, my dh needed to go to Verizon and we needed to go to Costco. Convenient enough. It wasn't loud, busy, or anything like other places. The girls were all talking in Vietnamese, but weren't yelling across the room. I made sure I was busy on my phone. I hate small talk. My usual nail place was plagued with construction - so searched Yelp and went to Nail Touch. They're nice .. free water.. it was busy though and waited 45 minutes. Don't know if their basins are clean enuff or if th e nail rep cut my toe nail too deep. She was really nice, but I was leary with the cleanliness. My big toe hurt, but again it may be she just cut it too short. Tried it again (the price is very reasonable!) and I got the same person. By the way, she also does a nice, long foot massage. But the paint was terrible. The reason I'm writing is because I returned to Coco Nails and Lien worked on me and I realized that my pedicures at Nail Touch was not good and I wanted to share this. A $15 pedi, $25 mani/pedi is hard to beat! I yelped nail places and found exactly what I was looking for right around the corner. It's right by Costco, so parking is a little annoying, but two of us were able to walk-in and get seated immediately. For the $15 pedi you get only a quick massage, which is fine, but the lady I had was slow cuz she kept answering the phone, chatting with the other women, and talking to the walk-ins. She didn't let the color dry long enough before doing the design, so the white blended with the pink base so it looks a little messy. There were not very many colors to choose from. I was surprised I couldn't find a red that I liked, but again, you're getting what you pay for. After what seemed like a long time getting a full set one of the other ladies offered a cold bottle of water which was a nice touch. Everyone there was nice. Don't do it if you have tips only ok for pedicure. My fill took 2 hours all nails are different shapes and lengths I tried to ask to make them the same.. no luck. I finally gave up once she cut me with the drill the second time and my finger wouldn't stop bleeding! Paint looks worse then I do at home. If I could rate this poor excuse for a nail salon a zero I would! I should have listened to the other terrible reviews for this place. Clearly all the 5 star reviews sprinkled in must have been asked for. I normally would never come here but I was in a hurry and my normal nail salon was too backed up. Mind you, this is the first negative yelp review I have ever wrote, my experience was that terrible. I'll start with my initial impression. I walked in and was told it would be about 45 mins, okay understandable. I come in about 50 mins later, no one greets me, after ten minutes someone finally acknowledges me standing there and tells me to sit. From there, I still wait about an hour and a half total from the initial quoted time. At that point I'm a bit annoyed but whatever, things happen. I should have went with my gut and left, the place is not very clean looking and quite honestly smells. Now to the actual service. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!! If you want to be in PAIN for an hour and a half this is your place. The lady completed skidded across my skin multiple times, making me bleed. One time, ok its a mistake but after cringing in pain for an hour I was over it and I wanted this hell of an experience to be over. The tool was on completely too fast and was burning my nails, worst I have ever experienced. I don't even want to mention how DISGUSTING their tools are!! I will be praying the next few days I don't get an infection from their filthy establishment. Lastly I go to pay, already annoyed and hurting and thats when they try to charge me 40 dollars. Well let me back up by her first asking how much I got charged last time, what does that matter?! When I told her it was my first time that's when she acted like she was doing me a favor by charged 40. Yes I had a nail they had to fix but 40 dollars for a crappy fill when it clearly states 25 on the board?! NO THANK YOU! Clearly dishonest schemers trying to profit off of the area they are in. This place is bull shit. I spent 35 bucks on my toes for this. Not to mention the lady doing my nails was really rude. When it came down to the hot towel she threw it at my legs. Like just chucked it at me. I asked her if she could do a certain design and she brought out kid stickers. Me being 24 and just already annoyed decided to just go with it anyways because I didn't want just a solid plain color. She ended up getting purple nail polish drops in my blue which I have no idea how and the stickers were bound to fall off sticking half way off so then there would be a missing patch of polish where the sticker once was. Well this is what I got and if this is what my daughter were to get I'd still be upset. 35 bucks isn't chump change to me I expect to get what I pay for. read more

I've tried several different places in the neighborhood and Nail Touch is still my favorite. I usually walk in on Sunday morning when it's quiet, and I've never had to wait for longer than a few minutes. I've had consistently expert, lasting results from their regular manicures and pedicures. It isn't a spa/pampering experience, so if that's what you're hoping for you'll be disappointed. But they'll bring you a bottle of water, there are usually cooking shows to watch, and they've always been impeccably pleasant and professional with me. read more

I went to Nail Touch to get my powder dip removed from a manicure I had at a different salon a few weeks ago. I specifically asked before they started treating me if they knew how to remove powder dips, and they assured me they did. Well, it turns out they didn't, and now my finger nails are thin and painful. They first started trying to pull them off with a nail clipper and I spoke up and said the previous salon told me it was an acetone removal process. She also tried peeling it off with a fake fingernail, and it hurt so I asked her to stop. I should have left then, but I am unfamiliar with the removal process and trusted their supposed expertise. She then had me soak in acetone. After soaking, she tried wiping it off, but lots of the powder dip was still on my nails. I pointed it out, and she started filing the surface of my nail with an electric file to get it off, thinning my nail. I washed my hands and there was still powder dip, but I did not want them thinning my nail anymore, as at this point I realized they had no clue what they were doing. I asked to soak in acetone some more and tried wiping it off myself with no success. My nails are paper thin, split, and painful now. I would avoid this place for any service! read more

WEIRDEST nail experience of my life. The quality of the job was ok, but the tools they used did not look the cleanest. I did not see them wash the tools between use. But what is the most unprofessional part is, when I went to pay I paid for my pedicure with card and told her I would pay the tip in cash. I gave her a $20 bill and asked her to break up the bill. She handed me $15 and said "buh-bye". How unprofessional for you to decide what I was going to pay for tip. You break the $20 and then allow the customer to decide what the tip was. Sally is the best pedicurist ever Nancy is pretty cool for eyebrow waxing Linda (the owner) is a complete and utterly rude and obnoxious person. She is NOT customer service oriented at all. I went there on Saturday as I booked an appointment for 12:30pm with Sally for a pedicure. Apparently the lady (I believe her name was Judy) CLAIMS she told me 4:30PM. While I understand a language barrier those two numbers (12 and 4) are not similar in sound at all. Instead of her saying she made a mistake (which I would have been okay with) she completely denied talking to me. Really? They offered NO alternative individual "do you want to come back?". What would have been appropriate "I apologize for the mix up, but another lady can care for you". Nobody said anything. While Sally is sweet and the only person who follows State Board regulations (I'm certified as well) I can't continue to patronize a business like this. Cleanliness is #1 customer service is #2. They totally failed (twice) at #2 and are just okay with #1. For instance I know you should not apply wax to an already waxed area. Nancy tried it before and I told her, NO. I think she is use to me now as she's very careful when I'm there. If Sally works elsewhere I'd definitely follow her. read more

i came here for a pedicure on fri around 5 pm, and it was pretty good. i called ahead, b/c last time i tried to come on a fri afternoon, the place was packed. they have a good choice of nailpolish, including opi, some essie, and orly. all the pedi chairs are spa chairs w/ massaging seats. pedicures are $22 and a great deal. the leg massage was so good here that i left wanting more. they have a fridge w/ free soda and water for patrons! read more

Even let me sample the vietnamese yam they were munching on (it was purple...so I asked what it was....they offered. how cute is that?!). They do take their time which I really appreciate. My sister and I went to Nail Touch together for mani/pedi's and we both were very pleased with the results. I didn't find them to be overly slow, but they were pretty thorough. The only complaint I'd have, and it's a minor one, is that my technician didn't get quite tough enough when exfoliating my heels - mine needed some extra attention, though, and I probably should've asked for it. A great calf massage came with the pedi, and the polish I got over two weeks ago still looks great. The price is very competitive, and it's nice that they offer complimentary drinks. They don't spend a lot of time, but that is to be expected when it's so cheap. Half-way through my pedicure, she asked if I could wait 5-minutes and she would come back so I thought she was going to use the restroom. After 15 minutes, I looked around and she was cutting someone's hair!! By the time she came back, my feet were pruny and she did a terrible job overall.
