Whenever I show Winnie what I envision, she delivers! My nails last so long between appointments and none of my designs/gems come off. Winnie makes sure they are ON there. Her attention to detail is phenomenal. When she doesn't find the sticker that matches close to what I want, she busts out her watercolor palette and hand painted all the flowers on my nails that you see below in 2 of the pics. The vibe of the salon is very chill, sometimes they have a drama playing on the tv with the volume low, other times it's just silence which I personally don't mind. I've been to her four times already and I can't wait to see her again soon!

Omg amazing manicure. By far the best manicure I've gotten in the Bay Area. My manicurist was Karly & was so detailed & thorough with my nails. My nails were beat up and she helped give me a manicure that considered my nail health as well as aesthetic. Also I left feeling so zen and relaxed. Will be coming back for sure

Winnie is the best! My nails are naturally very short and I'm also really bad about picking at them, so they were not in great shape when I came in. She always takes her time and somehow makes them look completely different. I absolutely love how clean, natural and pretty they turn out every time. Winnie does it again! I booked an appointment prior to my Korea trip since I had an upcoming photoshoot. I knew she would do an amazing job with just a photo reference. From the design down to the color of the polish, she has a keen eye for details and color matching. I've been coming to L2 for about three years now, and my nail technician is Winnie. She's very consistent and detail-oriented, especially when it comes to nail shape, balance, and overall cleanliness. I usually get natural or glossy styles with hard Gel, and the results always look clean and polished -- not thick or rushed. My nails are on the thinner side, but I rarely have issues with lifting, and they hold up well until my next visit. My nailbed end up with longer and healthier than before. The prep work is done carefully, which really shows in the final result. The salon is calm, appointments are generally on time, and there's no pressure to upsell. Went to L2 for the second time. The first mani and pedi lasted over a month so went again for a mani this time. The salon is very clean, calm, and Karley is amazing and very sweet. Excellent attention to detail and my nails look fantastic. Just the right shape and glossiness. I'll go back again with only hesitation -- the price. I was looking for a new nail salon in the Mountain View area and decided to try this one. I booked through Instagram dm. The salon was very clean and quiet - more of an intimate feel compared to other salons I frequented. I asked for the Hailey Bieber Glazed Donut nails with a hard gel fill. Shape and length were amazing! The nail tech let me know that with the design I wanted, my nails would not be smooth and came with an extra charge. I appreciated the heads up and said it's okay, I'm still happy to do it. They offered a free fix within a week if anything happened. Never been offered that before so that was great! About 1.5 weeks after the appointment, I noticed that two of the nails on my right hand had tiny cracks where the nail meets the skin. I have been getting hard gel for months without issues prior to coming here. Upon closer inspection, there seemed to be more product at the base and tips than in the middle, which may have caused a weak point as my nails grew out. I was a bit disappointed, but it happens! read more

Been here for almost half a year now! I usually bring in a design and discuss modifications and pricing with the artists and go from there. I worked with Winnie the past few times, and love her attention to details in execution, both in intricate designs and shaping. Might not be super visible in the pictures but she gets the builder gel to be a natural plump C curve but not overly thick, which has helped correct my previously fanned nails over time. When I attempted to schedule a nail appointment this week, their response was delayed for 3-4 days, requiring follow-up, and unfortunately, my request was ignored. Highly recommend trying this place out. I have been getting my sets here the past couple of times and the nail technician, Winnie, always does an amazing job. She understands what I want and does amazing with communication before, during, and after my nail appointments. She is super talented and can do any design that you can think of. And I also just have to mention how good the gel is, I have never had any chips or cracks with them even the time when I had a set for longer than two months. read more

Winnie is amazing. She cares about her customers and is very delicate in her work! Since I have small hands and short nails, I find it challenging to do the French dip, as it is sometimes drawn very thickly. But Winnie did a great job. It looks so elegant and simple. After showing her a short video of how I want my lashes to look like, she proceeded with a checklist of all the options I can choose from with explanations with what would fit me better and what would look the most natural (NO CATERPILLAR LASHES!!) the list includes the length I want, how curly each of the strands are, etc. After lounging on the chair, she turned her light piano music and off I went on a sweet slumber. She tells me step by step what she's doing i.e. cleaning the lashes, if I am comfortable with the tapes etc. I can already tell that she's quite a professional and very meticulous, and her touch is very light!- this is saying something for someone who's has had multiple eyelash extensions from 3 different continents. Tara is amazing - she made me feel super comfortable and was thorough when she asked me about how I usually wear my hair, what style I wanted, picking up on little details from the photos I showed her, and did an amazing job. I did get a small nick while they were cleaning my cuticle on one hand, which made me a little nervous, but they sanitized everything right away. They also started about 20 minutes late, but offered tea and chocolates which was a nice touch along with a gift bag since it was my first time at Yarco.
