I had a pink and white done and had not visited this place before. Since most people weren't trained, the owner/manager took care of me. There were 3 major issues, any one of which would have prevented any future visits: 1) It took 1 hr 40 minutes for a simple pink and white 2) They did not honor the posted $35 charge - They charged me $40 instead without any explanation other than "other places charge $40" 3) I was bleeding in FOUR fingers by the time she was through (not to mention how much the alcohol she used at the end burned in the gashes that she caused) (I only have a phone camera with me, but I took pictures of 2 of the cuts and uploaded them) Yes, this place is convenient to Costco. Super convenient. But for all the pain and extra hour that I wasted, I could've gone much further for a cheaper and better/less painful experience. read more

Coming in here was a mistake. I had gone to the Verizon store next door. I had a nail that was chipping so I thought since they are open late I'll just go there. Went in at 7:30 pm, they still had signs up saying open with lights and a lot of people. I went in & they looked annoyed. They said "what??" I was like "I just want to get color change". They all look at me and say "fine sit down!". She grabs the machine and starts removing color super fast. She also left parts of the other color on. I was getting cut from the cuticle area because she was not being careful. I told her I didn't want color after all, just leave it alone. She got super annoyed and said $25 is what I owed. Scam! Refill is $30. Color change is $10.00. I told her to get my card, then she said "cash! Cash better for me! $15.00 minimum" I said I only had my card. She swiped my card and it was only $10.00, even though I had just been told it was $15.09 minimum. Then she says with attitude "why you change your mind??!!!" Like really??? I just wasted $10.00. Salón looked really nasty, their tables are not sanitized. The back area is cluttered with random trash. Save your money do not come here. I have been going to Linda for almost 11 years, literally since i was 10, for pedicures. Today i went in for an appointment at 4 pm to get my acrylic nails taken off. The process is simple, they place your nails in acetone and then scrape off the gel. It took an hour and a half to do this, and she left my hands all crusty. Her reasoning was because my nails were strong, but during my scheduled appointment she was working with multiple people. She finished an entire manicure, color and all with someone who walked in after me before even checking my nails. I'm very disappointed in the service i received today. read more

I use to be a regular here until they made me feel so uncomfortable. I got the usual hello, how are you bs. They made me wait about an hour to get a manicure/pedicure. I thought okay that's fine, I'm understand they are a little busy. They finally finished my pedicure and manicure and I went up to pay. The manager (who I use to love) kept telling me my card was declined. I mentioned to her that it is their system and that I have money and to try again. She refused to and insisted I go to the ATM down the salon. I told her that I am not going to go to the ATM because I know I have funds and did not want to pay the extra charge. It wasn't the fact that I had to go to the ATM that pissed me off, it was the fact that she was on the phone the entire time as I stood there thinking she was trying to fix the machine. I stood there for 20mins to pay and at the end she again said her machine is fine go to the liquor store to get cash. I decided to tell her okay, I'm going to go home and get cash and walked out the door. I then get in my car and she opens the passenger seat and gets in my car with me. She trys to tell me not to be upset, she knows I'm a regular and that she will try one more time. She goes back in the store and it magically worked. As she went back in the salon, 2 other workers decide to come to my car too and try to apologize. I am all about customer service and this salon really made me feel like I didn't belong. I feel like the manager did not want to try my credit card because she would get charged a certain percentage. I've only been here for the haircuts. There is an older petite Asian lady that does the hair cutting. She does a pretty basic fast job of it. In the end there will be tons of hair all over your neck and you will need a shower as soon as you get home. That is not really that big a deal, what I don't like is she does not really spend any amount of time making it look professional. The finished cut will end up looking like your mom cut your hair for you in a real amateur way. It's not the worse cut you could get, but there is zero attention to detail and fairly sloppy. I went in today to get my eyebrows waxed and I specially explained to the lady that I just wanted to get my eyebrows cleaned and did NOT want my eyebrows thin. I didn't come to Nail Touch because of the great deals, I actually just happened to be in the area and found them on the Yelp app. But man, am I glad they popped up in the search. This isn't the fanciest nail shop around, but it'd definitely a "get 'er done" kind of place. And frankly, I can't sit still for long so a quick pedi at a lower price is exactly what I was looking for. Upgrade an extra $5 and they'll also scrub the callouses off your feet, which makes those tootsies nice and smooth. Polish selection is kinda "meh" but for such a low price, who cares? I am leaving for a cruise on Thursday and had no other time to get a pedicure so I dropped my husband off for some time with his friends and I looked at yelp to find the closest, most decent place around. I was sent to Nail Touch, mainly because of the $15 pedicure I saw a review for. I figured I wasn't looking for a $40 quality job and I really just needed one quick. I opted for the $25 pedicure because my feet are really callused and I needed it. I was asked three separate times if I was sure I didn't also want a manicure, and they seemed offended when I said no. (I'm a rock climber and don't see any reason in painting my nails when I'm just going to cut them crazy short and destroy them) It was (I'm assuming) close to closing time and I was the only customer in the whole salon. The tv was on and a Vietnamese soap opera was on and was super entertaining. The whole time I was there, the three employees were talking to each other and practically ignoring me other than filing my toes. All in all, it was worth the $25. Decent paint job, good callus removal, and shoddy massage. It was exactly what I was looking for. If you want a sloppy, rushed, unprofessional manicure then come here. I came here despite all of the awful reviews I am a huge believer in trying things out myself. When I walked in it was a okay salon. I had long nails that I wanted cut down and painted again and gel polish over. After they were cut and poorly shaped I picked a color and after putting 4 coats on it was really thick I asked her to fix them and she did but just painted another coat over the dent making them even thicker. When I asked to put gel over she said no a bunch of times until I went to her manager and complained then finally they did it and even then there already chipped 5 hours later. She told me to come back again and let her do a new set but over my dead body will I ever step foot back in there. I can not believe how terrible my nails come out to be. First they are not all the same shape. Some a square some are a failed attempt at coffin and some actually are coffin. While the lady was doing my nails the buffer kept slipping and hitting against my skin and I would jerk my hand back from the pain. It happened twice in one finger. I was nice about it and told her it's ok it happens. Then it happened a third time one the same finger. When that happened the lady laughed super hard as if it was funny that she hurt me. The color was perfect until the second coat of the matte top coat. Then while trying to fix the issue my nails were filed and then painted with another layer of top coat leaving dust stuck to my nail. The boss came up and said my nails are fine and that my body heat caused the gel polish to change colors. When I asked her why some nails didn't change color if what she said was true she said she did not say that. Which is a lie because she did. She told me to pay and leave. I told her please redo the color of my nails I am not happy and it's not right I should not have to pay and leave with them like this. She said we are busy you have to pay and leave. I refused. And asked again for them to be fixed she again refused. She said I'll give you $5 off now you pay $35 I told her when I asked the price I was told $35 why is it now $40 with a discount of $5 for the horrible job on my nails. She said ohh the lady gave you the wrong price so it is discounted. I was not happy because she was now trying to cheat me out of my money. She said then $30 I told her I would not pay more than $25 because I now have to pay someone else to fix them. She agreed. I did not want to pay card because I can not trust them and I was afraid she would charge what ever price she wanted so I had someone grab my wallet from the car. She then harassed me asking me why he was taking long. We had to park at the other end of the lot being that Costco was super busy. I would stay far far far away from this place. They don't care about the customers at all just the money. Yes I did pay less but the price I have to pay for someone to fix all of the mistakes made on my nails and the time I'm going to have to spend does not make me feel better. Definitely not the fanciest place around, but the price was right, it was relatively close to our current location, and Abby S. endorsed this place. We figured we can give it a shot. My BFFs and I came by here to get our pedicures and manicures done. Pedicures run $15-$25 depending on how thorough or more pampered you'd like to be. I'm good with the $15 basic one though, especially because I absolutely loathe the leg "massage" part, oh you know, when they literally pound on your calves and shins with their balled up fists. Massage? Hell no, I call it abuse. Lol. Our technicians were all very sweet. There was no gossiping amongst them and they all pretty much engaged in conversation with us. My tech and I got around to talking about food and she was giving me some cooking tips on how to prepare Vietnamese dishes. The good: Quick, same day appointment, not over crowded, inexpensive (10 for mani + add ons like parrafin) The bad: Not a very creative mani menu, actually I did not see a mani menu posted, only a pedi menu. Too much talking, talking to each other and talking on the phone. Maybe I need too much attention? Bubbling and chipping after 1 hour... Geez Overall: If you are in a crunch and need an affordable mani then this place will do the trick. If you on the other hand are like me and looking for a nail tech for life, move on. I went here based on the Yelp reviews, and I'm glad I did! I walked in without an appointment on a Saturday afternoon and got taken right away. The women working all seemed friendly; a lot of the customers were obviously regulars. The girl I had spent a long time on my pedicure, and paid a lot of attention to my toes; she kept touching up my polish on both my hands and feet and adding top coats right up until I was sitting under the drying light thingy. They even have a fridge full of free water and drinks. I'm only holding back one star because she didn't file my nails so carefully and a few of them on one hand are obviously crooked (more obvious because I got French tips). But who cares, because later that night I went to a party and got drunk and broke the corner off one of the crooked ones so now that's the most noticeable thing, hurrah. read more

On my first visit I asked for: Spa Pedi + Mani $35 Shellac Polish $15/set ---------------------------------- Total Amount Paid: $60+ Pro: The lady I had was kind and did a meticulous and exceptional job. Con: Polish wasn't the color I wanted but the manicurist said to trust her. So I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Turned out the color was more red than brown/maroon when I left the salon. I phoned the salon, mentioned my problem, and asked if they can fix it. Before the lady was kind of enough to apply one more coat at no cost she was already blaming me for not correcting my manicurist. Okay fair game but I had no knowledge the polish would look different in real daylight. Pro: Since they honored my situation I felt valued as a customer and decided I would return in the future. Nails lasted 3 weeks before it worn out. On my second visit the only two problems I had was that my manicurist didn't washed her hands after probing her toe nail. I can't bare the thought of someone else's dirty feet on my skin! I had to ask her to wash her hands because that is not proper practice of good hygiene. Yuck! Second, she was on her phone. Definitely not a luxurious-looking place, but you wouldn't expect it for this price. Their massage chairs are great, and I always get a good result. I always got French mani and pedis (+$3 for each) so I never realized their nailpolish collection is lacking until the last time I went. They definitely need a greater variety of colors, but you could easily just bring your own polish of choice. Standard nail salon with comfy massage chairs for pedicures. Relatively clean - y'all remember that series of freak "fungus" incidents happening in some Bay Area nail salons? Ewww. Well, to my knowledge, Nail Touch has NEVER had a freak incident like that, and the salon always seems to have happy, satisfied customers. I'm one of them. :) No need to call ahead and make an appointment - just show up and you'll be able to get a mani + pedi. I often walk right in and am serviced ASAP. The women who work at Nail Touch are friendly, diligent and efficient. And they give EXCELLENT calf/foot massages. Dayamn. I almost always get a regular manicure + French pedicure set, totals around $30 + tip. That's it. It's SO convenient for last-minute decisions to doll up. There were 6 women working (one was on the phone on and off the entire time I was there and one was really upset and by her tone she was complaining about something..loudly). The overall tone of this place is very unprofessional. I felt ignored and uncomfortable. I got a french pedicure and gel french mani for 50$ total. It was a mess. My nails are filed uneven, the white tips are uneven, and my pedicure looks messy like I did it myself, and it's all over my skin. It was incredibly over priced for the quality of work and service. I went to have a hair cut here for the first time. The experience wasn't very pleasant. The lady cutting my hair didn't quick followed my instruction (she might not understand it fully). She seemed to care about speed much more than quality, and her attitude simply made you feel you weren't welcomed there. I feel like I should write two reviews since I had a great experience while my friend had a pedicure from hell. I got acrylics that were perfect, $20, fast, painless.. just great. My friend, on the other hand..... not so much. She sat down to get a pedicure and the water was ice cold. For 20 minutes she asked any passer-by to turn up the heat. Finally, I asked my manicurist to help.. thus SCOLDING her with boiling water. Tick...tock... tick... tock....... My friend sat there for 45 minutes while her feet turned into prunes. (oh! the look on her sad face!) Finally, when the lady started, she practically removed all the calluses AND the soft skin underneath, MUTILATING her feet. By the time she started the paint, it had been almost 2 hours since we arrived, and she still had a manicure to start! This was the point when she was threatened to walk out. After some very heavy persuasion from all of the nail-ladies, she reluctantly sat back down--- not the best decision. Apparently the nail-ladies are big fans of the "The White Stripes," because that was NOT a French manicure. The filing was so bad that it left all the flaky chips which will obviously make the paint chip off immediately. I had called in at 6 to schedule an appointment for two at 7. She didn't take my name but she made it sound like it would be no problem to fit us in at that time. We arrived on time. A lady who was doing a customers nails looked at us, my friend said "We called and made an appointment for 7." She looked at the clock (6:58) and then told us to sit and wait. All of the pedicure chairs were full, we waited until 7:30 to be seated. My friend opted for the $15 spa pedicure with a design. I went for the $20 regular which adds on sea salt, remove calluses and includes a longer massage. She lightly rubbed lotion on my legs for about 10 minutes... Whatever, $5 isn't going to buy me a top of the line massage. When I first sat in the chair I looked at the water and it looked like something might have been floating in it :/ I figured it was just bubbles or something. I dipped my foot in and it was burning hot. She apologized, but then sprayed my shins with the same burning water. The pedicure was alright. I could have done the polish at home for the same results. My toes look nice but I'm surprised she didn't draw blood from how much it hurt when she was scrubbing and clipping. I could tell they were talking about customers just from the gestures they made while talking. Usual for these places, I know. I tried to find a translator app that would do speech to text but I couldn't find one. Bummer. Sanitation wise, I feel lucky that I don't have an infection. As my friend so accurately put it, this place seems like a factory. Burn, Clip, Scrub, Rub, Paint, NEXT! My friend could have gotten away without paying because they never asked. As soon as my toes were done my lady said "pay now?" and I handed her my card, two seconds later I got my receipt and I tipped. The next second my lady walked away and I sat there waiting to see if she was going to grab my sandals for me (as my friends manicurist did) I waited, and then I took it into my own hands.
