I hope this review finds everybody well! I almost went to jail today. I only come to this salon to get my eyebrows done because it's clearly the only service they know how to do right. I've been living in this area for almost a year now and every time I come into this nail salon I kid you not you only see grandparents and retirees... so this was a sign to me to never get any other service. Now on to the reason why they pissed me off today. So for the last year I've been paying with card for my eyebrows which is $15.00 I normally give a $5 dollar tip. Today when I went to check out by a lady who has done my eyebrows multiple times she said to me do you have cash. I said no, I always pay with my card. Who carries cash anymore?! TF. Then she proceeds to ask for my ID to match my card I was using. At first I was like this is odd but I assumed maybe something happened here, nonetheless I shared my ID and card. This old woman who shouldn't be checking anyone out at the register proceed to tell me that my name did not match my card, which is the dumb shit I've ever heard. She was looking for my credit card to display my entire middle name like my ID card and because it didn't she tried to write my ID information down on a piece of paper. I immediately yelled at her and told her to give me my items back, and did not leave a tip. So one I felt like this was a prejudice call as if I was someone else that stole from them. Why would I steal $15 dollars from a dump like this. You literally just lost a loyal customer outside of the silver shoes clients you currently serve! DO BETTER AND LEARN HOW TO READ ID CARDS! Ok, so I'm not usually one to leave a bad review but I was so embarrassed during my appointment here. I went in for a manicure with tips and a gel pedicure. I told the manicurist i wanted a "monochromatic look" - so every nail is a different color in the same color palette. I got the idea from their Google profile actually...it's the first example picture that pops up when you search for their business there. Ironic. She got wide eyed and dumped the dip colors in my lap. When she turned around, I noticed she and the other workers were laughing at and talking about me. I struggled with the colors for probably 10 mins trying to find things that coordinated and not a single worker offered to help. But they were laughing in my direction and talking. Eventually, my manicurist came back around and said "I only have an hour and a half so you better hurry up and choose." I should have walked out then but I didn't, and turns out, I don't like two of my nail colors because I felt rushed. I have an appointment at a different salon in 30 mins to fix it. After finishing the manicure, the manicurist looked at me and said "well, it's different!" Honestly the pedicure looks fine and the manicure itself wasn't bad either! I'll just never go back. I walked in.. was greeted I sat down maybe 15 mins before someone started my nails and I honestly should've left that a sign. Anyways I was in a rush and wanted my nails done just a simple long set no crystals I showed her a picture she said $70 for the set I'm fine with it, she starts doing my nails and by the third nail I can tell they are N O T experienced at doing long nails. She was struggling with the powder and shaping it. When it came time to file I even had to assist and show her how I wanted my nails filed......lol my nails were extremely wide and I already told her I like them narrow square and filed hard at the top for that perfect square shape. She kept filing my nails so soft and I was just ready to go. I washed my hands and couldn't believe how U G L Y MY NAILS WERE. It was truly like she was playing with me or something. I complained and ended up paying $60 and she gave me a free file saying how I could go home and file them lol isn't that the point of me coming to a NAIL SHOP? which even coming was honestly was a WASTE OF MY MONEY. All of the nails broke except for my thumb and pointing finger in less than 4 days. I have never had such bad nails I've had $7 nails from HEB not only last longer but even look better. I wasn't offered water or anything maybe they're bias against black women or something cus even how she handled me while doing my nails was very rough. I NEVER write bad reviews...but I have been getting my nails done for a long time, and this is the worst full set I've ever had done. This was my first time here. I went in asking for a pedicure and full set and was told they could do it at the same time. Then, she asked me if I wanted to do my pedicure in a bucket while she did my nails. I said I would rather sit in the pedicure chair for my pedicure (others were getting both done in the pedicure chairs.) At first she told me there was no room to do that, even though others were getting their nails done that way. Then, she told me she would start me out in the bucket, then we would move me to the chair. She did not. They gave me my whole pedicure in the bucket. My full set is crooked and very poorly done. And I paid $105 for this. So disappointing...I will definitely NOT being gone back. read more

So I decided to give this nail salon a try and I'm highly disappointed and it takes a lot for me to get upset. I left unsatisfied while paying 92 dollars including a 10 dollar tip that I should've never even left. The color I chose was a white sparkle color and I got yellow basically as you can tell from the picture. I went back in because I noticed the yellow town while coming outside. I told the lady my issue and all she did was tell me that "it's supposed to look that way" and turned her head and ignored me while I stood there. There was no "how can I fix it" or anything in that nature. I've been going here on and off for about 5 years. They are only 1 of 2 places in Houston I will go for a pedicure. They never hurt my toes/feet, unlike lots of other places I've gone to, and their prices are decent as well. They have a decent selection of shellac colors, but it is a bit smaller of a selection than some other places I've gone. I typically get a shellac manicure every 2 weeks, although with theirs I can sometimes go 3 weeks. Overall I really like this place! The salon is clean, everyone who works there is nice, and they are all quick and efficient without sacrificing the quality of their work. read more

Wow really bad service. Barely speak English and their work is not good. My finger is bleeding, looks like I painted them myself and one has a discoloration to the center of it that looks like a piece of dirt got trapped and painted over. After only going once, I'm not quite ready to throw 5 stars up there yet but i will say i had a great experience at Nail Time and I plan to return. The bf and I were driving around looking for a spot to get our pedi and stopped here. They sat us in our own little private area for our deluxe spa pedicure. I give them points for that. What comes with the deluxe spa pedi? scented scrubs, long relaxing foot massages and careful attention and care given to those toes. it lasted for over an hour but was well worth it. I'd say that a good chunk of the time spent was on massages. i have no complaints about that though. it was great after a jog @ Memorial! I loved the end results, my feet look great. But i've had great pedicures before. What i enjoyed most was the friendly atmosphere. The nail techs were very sweet and that goes a long way in my book. I've been coming to these ladies for about 6 months now and I've been very pleased with every service I've gotten. Today, Rosie did an amazing job on my solar pink & white. They are kind & meticulous as well as reasonably priced. They are always willing to work you in and make it comfortable for you. However, the shellac & regular color selection is lacking. This is the only reason why I don't give them 5 stars. If you want regular polish and have a specific color in mind, I suggest bringing your own because you are unlikely to find exactly what you want here. That being said, they still have a wide array of colors of pinks and reds. Not many neons or colors of that variety. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place! read more

Super fast pedicure. Much smaller intimate setting. Friendly staff and Manager. Popped in on spur of the moment whilst running errands. This place is small and cute. They don't offer the jelly style pedicure I prefer, just something awesome about squishing the hot gel between your toes, but good nonetheless. Great pedicure if you're short on time. Looked great. The place was cute and clean, and both of the ladies who provided my services really took their time to make sure things looked perfect. The pedicure was loooong and involved a really great massage, and the lady didn't rush even though I was one of the last clients of the day. No complaints! They always get to me quickly. I've only had to wait one time and it wasn't for long, they were really busy. They will do your mani and pedi at the same time. Which I love! They have massages and waxing, but I've never used those services. Lots of people make appointments for specific nail techs but just walking in I've never had a bad mani or pedi. read more

I usually come to see Tina for waxing (face), and she is terrific - efficient and thorough, though still careful of my skin as it is very sensitive to the heat. A lot of customers during peak hours and first name basis with customers walking in, so I knew the place was well established.
