This shows everything that is transparent and nothing hidden. The staff is welcoming friendly, clean and meticulous, respectful to all customers and each other. The salon is a wonderful environment. Naturally, I asked for "Number 1," since nothing indicated it was outdated. It was a facial paper on the pedicure menus. To my surprise, the staff member responded harshly, saying they no longer offer that option and only have "Number 2." I said that was fine, she got mad that I removed the paper, I didn't know any better. I apologized. but she continued to speak to me in a raised voice in front of other customers, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I ended up leaving and let her know she had made me feel unwelcome. I completely understand if the menu was old--but there was no need to respond so aggressively. It was my first visit, and it could've been a simple, kind correction. Customer service matters, and unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Being rushed through something that's supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable is not my thing, so I won't be coming back. I have this thing about applying polish to up to the very sides of my nails. Linh did that without being told. I didn't get the name of the tech who did my pedicure but that was mediocre, could be the fact that I had chosen the lesser valued service.. the massage was barely there, quick and simple. The energy is calm and relaxing and appears to be clean. I appreciate that they appear to have their stainless tools in a sterilized packaging that gives me the impression that it's been cleaned. I'm not sure if they follow the same practice with the pumice foot scrubber, nail filer and buffer etc. and when I say same practice I mean, each client getting their own brand new sets. My second visit, unfortunately, wasnt a wow factor. I was a walk-in and the gal who asked me what service I wanted was actively working on a client, looking like she's working on the massage and she paused (mind you glove is still on) and went to their tablet to probably check on their schedule; then proceeded to massage the client with her gloves still. Today's visit entails a regular polish collagen manicure and regular polish organic pedicure. Pedicure: The tech one who did my pedicure wrapped up with a client and attended to me, however, I don't believe she switched gloves.. beside that, the pedicure was fine, polish looks Manicure: This is where the displeasure lays. Didn't think I had to look at each nail and call out every one of them.. pictured are evident on the lack of quality of work. Note to owners.. I got the wrong plumful polish.. something with a plum in its title.. on the samples it's a lot darker, perhaps 3 coats worth.. but I believe they did 2 coats which is the norm and the color is no where as dark as the sample. So l, I would suggest the sample cards reflect that actual finish color and if your standard is 2 coats, then that's what it should look like.

Here was my experience: I came in for a gel manicure and asked for a French tip design. I will say that the design looked nice, and it was the design that I requested. However, within 1.5 hours of leaving the salon, I noticed that the polish on one of my pinkies had chipped! Normally, I would go right back to the salon, so they could fix it. However, I was catching a flight. Thus, I was rushing around a bit afterwards to get to the airport on time, but I have gotten gel manicures many times before, and this is the first time it chipped so quickly. I came in with someone else, and she had even said she was concerned about her nails chipping because they only put one coat of polish. I guess I was case in point. I called and spoke with them; they requested pictures and took down my number. I did talk to a manager the next day about my experience. However, the manager reiterated multiple times that they do not offer any refunds. Normally, this would be fine, and I would go back in to get them fixed. However, I was only visiting Washington and visit sporadically (not even once per year). All she could offer was a discount or to work something out the next time I visit. I am certainly not hoping that anything will come of this, but I do hope they address this issue in the future so that other people's nails don't chip so quickly, especially because this salon is not cheap. With other nail salon options in the area and given my experience, I will likely not be back.
