Had a great experience at nails studio. All of the staff were very attentive to my friend and I. I got the spa pedicure which was very relaxing. My toe nails look great and my feet are nice a smooth! This was by far one of the best pedicures I have had in a long time! Everyone was super friendly! The salon is spacious and so clean. Jeff did my pedicure with care from beginning to end. He frequently checked in to make sure everything from the water temperature, nail length and color was to my liking. I haven't felt this pampered in a long time. I have been to Nail Studio at least 4 times in the past 2-3 months, since the new owners have taken over. They are very friendly and welcoming, as is the rest of the staff. They take the time to do things right! One of my favorite things is the timed massages included with the various pedicure/manicure options. You can add on in increments of 5 minutes for $5, and they set timers to ensure you are getting your full time! Outstanding service and I will keep going back. read more

I have patronized this business for years. I've been there three times since the new owners took over and I will never return. The customer service is terrible. I went in and went to pick a color. They told me to do that later and immediately began to soak my nails. When all fingers were wrapped they told me I could pick a color. I couldn't use my hands, or hold a color strip to my skin, so I didn't have a chance to decide. The service was rushed even though I was the only person there. Also inferior products used. read more

I was a loyal customer for years, until the new owners took over. The customer service and overall service has severely declined. New owners are rude and dismissive. They do an awful job and ruined my nails. After a decade of loyal business here, I am now going elsewhere. I also had a regularly scheduled appointment. When I arrived they said it would be a 45 minute wait because two walk-in customers came in. I reminded them that I had an appointment and they repeated that it would be a 45 minute wait. If I could rate less than one star I would. Warning..do not go to this shop. I went in to have dip color removed and just a regular manicure with clear coat. The owner did not know what she was doing. She proceeded to use the electric sander and when I told her it was burning me through my nail she did not stop. In addition, all the residue from the previous dip remained and all my nails are split and destroyed. Awful experience. Super clean and bright, this salon has all the bells and whistles I expect from a $25 pedicure salon. I called ahead and they knew exactly what their schedule is and when my Mom and I could arrive to get pedicures done together. It was a rainy Saturday afternoon and the salon was full, every technician was working and the longest a walk-in had to wait was 5 minutes. That's near perfect customer service if you ask me!!! First and last visit. I came here today after leaving the Goodwill next door. I walked in, checked pricing posted on the wall and decided on the pedi for $23 plus $3 french tip. $26 total right? I was warmly welcomed and immediately seated for my pedicure as it was only one other customer getting a manicure. Problem #1. The lady who did pedicure did a HORRIBLE JOB!!! She was super lazy, did not file the right toe nails, three scrubs on each heel with the pumice stone, that's it!!! No effort, enthusiasm, NOTHING!!!! She stated she lives in south city but works far out and named the areas in west county she worked previously. She was probably replaced at every other shop after customers complained of poor service. I can't even describe in detail how dissatisfied I was. 15 minutes after sitting down she was already putting my shoes on to paint my toes. I watched as another lady walked in and the gentlemen started her pedicure. He was very attentive, let her soak her feet longer than 2 minutes, he used the foot scraper (didn't know they used those as my nail tech didnt) and pumice stone and took his time. Problem #2. I go to pay she stated $29. I looked up at the price list and asked why when it totals $26. She said something I couldnt understand and the French tip is $5 extra, which is not posted. She said just pay $26,I don't care. She then turns around and said something in Chinese but I clearly heard "I don't care" then she chuckled while swiping my credit card. I had a cash tip in my hand which she did not deserve for the botched job but after attempting overcharge I WAS NOT GIVING IT TO HER. I wrote on the credit card slip $26 plus 2 tip. $28 total. She writes over the 8 an put a 6 when she sees the cash in hand. I point on the recieipt showing her this is the only tip she's getting and didn't deserve it you owners for the welcome and hire people who will do their jobs more effectively. I will.be watching credit card to make sure the tip amount has not been adjusted. read more
